    Horrible Case, Unholy Price
This has to be the worst visor case that I've ever used.

    Why?

    1. The plastic cover is translucent, so you can't see a darn thing when an alarm goes off without opening it first. The fools should have left off the frosting and given us a clear plastic cover.

    2. It's made of tire rubber, and has lots of traction. Getting this thing in and out of your pocket is a major, major, king-kong sized biiiiyaatch.

    3. There's no hole for the springboard slot, just an inadequately sized cut-out circle that can be used as a cutting guide for case mod'ers.

    4. There's no hole for the HotSync cradle, just a way-undersized cut-out circle that can be used as a cutting guide for case mod'ers. They didn't know that most visors have cradles instead of cables.

    5. You have to open the thing to get to the buttons. It would be nice if the plastic door only protected the screen, but left the buttons exposed for when you want to look at your contacts.

    6. [$$] for this piece of junk is way too high. [$$] for a decent case is just taking advantage of the deep-pocketed exec crowd desperate for something to replace the... cover that Handspring provided with the Visor.

I will never buy from Fellowes again.

What this is, and isn't! A word on Visor safety
First off, this is not the first review of this product-I wrote one months ago that never showed up-so here goes again!

What this little gizmo IS: It is a great way to keep you Visor safe from the slings & arrows of outrageous fortunes. By that, I mean, bumps, jars, & hits in your briefcase, purse or pocket. It probably would also do very well in keeping it safe if you dropped it from 6' or so. The Bumper is a neoprene cover, reinforced at the bottom for safety & stability. It is easy to take on & off your Visor with a minimum of effort-NOT like the Bumper for the Palm, which is a pain to get on & off & risks cracking your screen every time!! This does not, but do be careful, nevertheless!! The cover is translucent, so you can see what is going on whenever your alarm rings. A nice touch that the Palm unit does not have! It has a handy little groove on one side to hold a stylus. My only nag is that the stylus gets caught in it sometimes & is a little hard to remove-a minor quibble. Having never dropped my Visor while in the Bumper, I can't vouch for its absolute ability to save it-but it sure is better than no Bumper at all!!!!

What this device IS NOT: It is NOT water-proof or even water-resistant in any significant way, except for the occasional splash of coffee or the odd raindrop. If you want water-PROOF, this is NOT it. Look at one of the plastic Zero-type cases from Levenger if you want something absolutely waterproof. The Bumper is dust-resistant, but with a cover & an opening for your beaming port, water & dust-resistance is mostly marginal.

Bottom line: I like it & use it all the time! My Visor would not leave home without it!! Buy & try-if you do not expect water-proofness, then this will work nicely for you.

      China special
This case looks great and is a nice design. However, the case is GLUED together in parts. Throw a little warm weather at it and it will start t separate. IT's just another junky "Made in China" case - should cost about $5. Buy a Handspring neoprene case and forget about your worries-thats quality!

      Great Product!
I bought this product not really knowing if It would look professional on a belt. But, I've used it and Love it! The quality of leather says, "exspensive". It looks great, holds my palm and I can take it anywhere.

      Not for Pocket size planner
It's advertised as fitting all the different sizes of Franklin planners. Yes, it probably fits all the hole patterns, but in the Pocket size planner the Palm sticks out of the planner cover about a half inch. Not an ideal application. Plus the cost is a bit ridiculous; fifteen bucks for this little piece of molded plastic? Get real!

The attachment is the same size of the Palm Vx
I went into my FC Store and told them about the review that the attachment got. Since I am in the process of buying a Palm Vx, I wanted to make sure that the attachment fit. They were extemely helpful. They took the attachment out of the package and let me put it in my Pocket Planner and it is a perfect fit! They said that the person who wrote the previous review may have had the attachment for the Palm III, which wouldn't have fit properly in the Pocket Planner.

I just wanted to let you know my experience. As for seeing if the Palm Vx will fit in my Zipper Pocket without appearing too bulky remains to be seen.

The attachment DOES fit the Pocket Planner.

        Very disappointed
I have been a Franklin planner freak for over ten years and have owned just about every binder they have ever made. This is by far the worst. Looks good and is well padded but the inside is thumbs down. I'm brand new to the palm and have just gotten a M100. The only way you can get this model into the case is to use the velcro (included) which will cover the serial number and part of the battery cover.

        Great durability!
This case is perfect for the compaq iPAQ! Put the velcro on the style pack and it works like a charm. One of the tuffest iPAQ cases out there.

nice looking but it damaged my visor
This is a very stylish case and I really like the way it looks. Unfortunately, the cover where the visor snaps in was too tight and ended up damaging the plastic casing on my visor. Handspring happily replaced the visor, and I am going to try a different case, but I'm a bit skeptical.....

        Good, but Somewhat Expensive
This product does exactly what it is supposed to do - protect your handspring visor. And it's also quite stylish. The material seems to be of a very high quality. But it seems like 50$ is a lot to pay for a case just to hold the device - after all, you can get a keyboard for your PDA (in some ways, a more useful purchase) for just a little more. But it does look quite nice and it is very compact.

        Not for Visor Edge!!!
It's really a great case for your Visor. Nice and soft and very beautiful. So why only one star? Well, says "For your Handspring Visor", and I thought that would mean any Visor. As it turns out, it doesn't fit the Visor Edge, which is why I'm returning the product. It's a shame, because my wife really loved it ...

        Soft, compact, and elegant
I bought this case after the corners of my first Visor case, the microfiber and leather one, frayed in just a week or two of use. This one has an absolutely lovely "hand," seems to be very well made, and like all the Handspring cases, it attaches cleverly and securely with the sewn-in plastic Visor cover. It is compact, convenient, and elegant (both in quality and in the mathematical sense!).

poor design of product, low protection for the new jornada 56X, and the price is too high for low quality product.I recommend get a VAJA cases!

        HP Jornada 568 - Excellent!
After returning a Sony Clie (with Palm OS), I purchased the Jornada 568 and have not looked back. The Jornada basically fulfills the desire I've had for some kind of portable computer. I never really wanted to lug around a laptop, so the Pocket PC is just the right size. There are TONS of applications to download for it and it has some very useful features:

        - Removable battery. You are able to buy spare batteries and swap them at any time (a smaller backup battery saves your data while you perform the swap).

        - Compact Flash card slot. I already had several CF cards that I wasn't using in my Canon digital camera anymore (after buying the Microdrive), so I was able to add a significant amount of storage memory by using these cards with the 568.

        - Nice flip-up lid protects the screen from scratches and damage. Plus, the Jornada simply looks sleek and compact.

        Highly recommended.

Does NOT work with Palm M125
What is up with this cable, I exchanged TWO of these cables. It does NOT work with the Palm M125, you plug it in and nothing happends. There isn't even a SYNC button, the funny part is that the sticker on the cable says Palm M500/505 but not M125. However, the box does say M125!

        It isn't supposed to synch
The last reviewer said it doesn't sync. Well it doesn't say it is supposed to sync. It is a charger.

          Best Unit for the Price
I just got this unit for $249.00 on sale. It works fantastic. Most complaints I have heard have to do with user error and not getting the apporpriate updates. Works like a dream, I recommend it highly.

Poor instructions leave you on your own...
I purchased this unit based on another reader review, unfortunately, my experience was not as positive as his. To start off, the instructions are very vague, leaving you to figure out how to use the unit. The software, which basically performs all of your mapping functions, is spread out across 4 CDs with little direction, so again, you're on your own to try to figure out how to get a map and directions into your Palm Pilot and working with the GPS. And after waiting for 90 minutes for the unit to lock into a satellite, it never happened. Even standing out in the open with no obstacles. Plus the Palm processor is too slow to correctly run the maps. Save your money is my advice. I have already sent my unit back.

          Navman P Series Wow!
What an excellent GPS. It's mount holds the palm quite well and it tracks the satellites quickly (as short as 15 seconds). The software could use a few tweaks. But all in all it is easy to use. The quality of the hardware is outstanding and it comes with everything. The car power adapter, the windshield mount and the charger are included. The maps don't take up too much space on the palm. And I like the feature where you can select what items of intrest you want to store on your map. (Banks, Resturants, Hotels, Hospitals Etc.) It helps to keep the maps small.
If you have a Palm and you travel get a Navman it's a bargan!
