Case is useless for a nacked iPAC
disappointedThe screen protectors are fine
The little cleaner wipes are not necessary
The case is NOT universal and is completely useless as it does not fit a naked Ipaq.

Hopeless IR Keyboard
Definite Room for ImprovementThe stand that comes with the keyboard for your PDA looks like something from a dollar store. It is at once the flimsiest, cheapest, most pathetic piece of 'equipment' I have ever seen. The stand folds up, in a complicated puzzle-like way, into a single thick flat black box the size of two credit cards. Figuring out how to set it up the first time was an exercise in patience...I was mainly worried about snapping the thin joints attatched to the piece of reflective plastic that serves as a mirror.
The wirelessness of this device is accomplished through communication through IRA transmission. Unfortunately, it takes FOREVER to find the right location for the keyboard so that you can type. I spent ten whole minutes the first time experimentally hitting keys and adjusting the mirror so that the IRA port on my PDA could 'communicate' with the one on the keyboard. It is not easy to set up, I wouldn't suggest this device if you needed to get it out in a hurry...like to take notes for class or something. The fastest way to connect is to type with the PDA upside down with its port pointing directly to the keyboard's port.
Another major problem with the keyboard is the fact that it does not snap into place. Unless it is on a solid surface, the two sides of the keyboard are apt to slide apart and bend in the middle, making it impossible to type with it on the go.
The keyboard comes with a badly made and rather large ugly synthetic leather case with a pocket for the keyboard and one for the stand.
Setup in a minute...if you know this trickset it up quickly. Here is the trick. Put your PDA on the
stand, and set the mirror right(don't worry about being too
accurate on the angle, it's ok). Open an edit software on
your PDA. Use one hand to hold the keyboard up very close
to the mirror. Use another hand to type any key, you should
lock the signal right away. Keep typing while slowly putting
the keyboard down. If you lost signal, move keyboard up to
relock the signal. I bet you'll get it in 3 tries. I had
worried about the button battery also, but I found out it's
only about 2 bucks, search it on yahoo or bizrate.com. With
this trick, and think about the price, I really can complain
too much...

Tungsten E covers
Good, not great. One immediate dislike was Palm's use of Velcro to keep the PDA secure. You must stick the supplied self-adhesive Velcro strip across the back of your PDA, covering the attachment point for the original suede flip-over cover. Your PDA then "sticks" to the Velcro lining inside the right side of the case. For a Palm-brand PDA going into a Palm-brand case, PalmOne should have implemented a less cheap and generic attachment method.
After a weeks' use, I discovered a few more shortcomings. The case's edge partially blocks the IR port, card slot, and stylus, making it difficult (but not impossible) to use your PDA while in the case. The business/credit card holders are extremely shallow and tight, almost too tight for even a single credit card. Worst of all, if you keep an expansion card in the case's pocket for it, with the case closed, the card gets firmly pressed into your PDA's screen.
This is a quality case for the price, offering good protection for your PDA. Unfortunately, it contains several design flaws.
Great inexpensive caseIt's a four instead of a five star for me since there is only storage for two SD cards - I have four now and I'm using one of the credit card slots for additional storage. The zipper also continues far into the covered spine of the case, and it is possible to get the zipper pull trapped in there(although one is more likely to do that out of curiosity than accident)

iConcepts case not at all as it was advertisedBUT, this case was NOT as advertised...the one shipped was nothing like it was pictured...no leather sleeve to put the PDA into; just a stylus-type connector that was supposed to slide into the left stylus holder. Fine, except the stylus connector was way too small for my Palm. Had to send it back.
Again, not Amazon's fault---they are wonderful to work with, as usual!!
I won't buy anything from iConcepts again, though.

No good for long trips
Needs a lot of work ...Summary: Concept - 5 stars, Software - 2 stars, Tech Support - minus 100 stars. Maybe a real software company will buy Pharos someday because they really do have some good ideas, but do not seem to be able to make them wouk right and clearly know nothing about customer service or relations. For now, buy a Navman, I did and while it's not 100% perfect, it's pretty good and I'm happy with it. See my review for that product.
Easy to Install/Use, latest software very good.

Fits well, but isn't the same as the original
Still Looking
Not quite replacements...Pros: They fit in the stylus holder ok and they're reasonably cheap. You get three and you'll probably lose some so that's nice. Just be sure to put the spares somewhere that you'll remember.
Cons: These are one piece shaped alike versions. They have no removable end with a reset wire like the original. They're sort of crusty to use - just don't feel good in your hand and aren't finished very well.
Overall: They work. It might be hard to find an original replacement now and even if you do they'll be expensive (relatively) and you'll probably lose another one if you lost the first. I'd say they're ok if you can't afford or can't find an original replacement.
