Great looking, but wears poorly
I was really pleased to receive this case. I really liked the two toned look, and it held my Visor securely, making a nice, compact unit. However, after only one week of use, the microfiber has already begun to fray at the corners, and I will be exchanging it for an all leather case. The folks at Handspring said they had have had no complaints about the microfiber cases, so maybe mine was a lemon, but it is very disappointing.

Adequate but nothing to write home about
Didn't have the problems of the other reviewers--case is neatly stitched, nothing is coming apart, is a nice compact size, like the holder for the Visor--no velcro needed to keep Visor in place, snap locks securely. Only complaint is that there was no info about the interior arrangement so ordered it hoping there would be credit card slots. Unfortunately there is only one larger slot on the left side. Nothing clever or particularly useful--just a basic carrier which makes the price a bit high in my book.

Damaged case sent
The snap closure of this case had separated from the cover and was loose inside the box. No one checked this before shipping. The case itself was excellent in fit and finish and I have requested a replacement.

I'm pleased, but not thrilled.
I'll say this for Handspring's cases: they use a great system to keep the Visor in place. The unit attaches with the same clip mechanism that comes with the Visor's standard plastic cover...not velcro! Solid and safe.

My ice Visor looks great with the green case (forgive me for not matching, but I couldn't go with white leather), but I do wish that the case had just a touch more room for cards, stamps, whatever. It's definitely a tight fit, which leads to trouble removing the stylus from the Visor OR the case's pocket.

Does it protect the Visor adequately? Hard to say. The case only protects the face and rear of the unit, not the sides. If you want serious, fully-enclosed protection, go elsewhere. If you want a good-looking, fairly cheap case, and the security of knowing your Visor won't fall out, here you go.

Not as useful as it sounded
Like many Visor owners, I've accumulated a number of springboard modules, which were piling up in a number of places. I thought this product would be perfect for storing all of my modules in one place. It is really too small for my needs. I have a Margi Presenter to Go which has a power cord, a connecting cable a remote control and a module. I have a Thinmodem which also needs a dongle to connect to a phone line (in my perfect world I'd also have room for a 6-10 foot telephone cable...) When I try to cram these two products into this case, it is FULL!!! Forget about my DBNow module, or my games module, or my Memplug SM adapter, or my backup module... you get the idea. This is way-y-y-y too small to carry all of my peripherals. I am trying to decide whether it is worth it just for the Margi, since the case that comes with that doesn't allow for any cables, but I must admit this is a real disappointment! Go to the grocery store and get a shopping bag- it will be much more effective!

Not Much more Than It Appears
Simple little case for the Handspring. The pockets inside are nice and I keep three modules in them, one of which is an MP3 player. The size is not a problem, but this is not some kind of super strong protective case. Zipper is good, material is thick. I like it and it is easy to clip to my backpack. Was a little pricey, but sure beats some of the flimsy things you can get in the office supply stores.

Easy to lose....
The reason I purchased the 2pac stylus is that, when I pulled out the PDA out or putting it back in my pocket it fell of because the button is so easily released with the slightest pressure. I didn't even know until it was too late.... so Watch out how you hold you PDA when you pull it out or put it back!!!!

awkward shape detracts from function
I just recently purchased a visor edge, and was at first pleased with it's metal stylus. But I'm afraid this is a case where function was sacrificed for style. The flattened shape makes it very awkward to get back on the visor since it forces you to hold it by its thinnest edges. A standard round stylus would have made much more sense. On the plus side, it has a pleasant heft and nice writing tip.

Compact but under designed
The unit is nice and compact but cycles off and on (internal thermal protection) when the Ipaq is in use with w/ CF Plus sleeve and Socket low power wlan card, even at room temperature. The Compaq charger does not have this problem.

Adequate . . .
This product does an adequate job. I live in Japan, and it takes the lesser 100v outlets here just fine. But, I found that when I am charging my iPaq and I am using it at the same time, the charger gets overloaded, and shuts off for a few minutes until it cools down. So, that's annoying, but it does charge my ipaq when I let it sit there. And I haven't had any other problems with it--so, it's adequate.

Case was poor fit
The case was too narrow and the visor edge wouldn't fit right. Surprising since other Rhinoskin products were just fine.

Well-made quality case
I bought the brown leather flip case about 3 weeks ago and it's really very nice. The stitching is perfect and the leather is high quality and it looks great. The snap is high quality and when the case is closed it holds the visor securely. My only complaint is that the opening for the beam function does not exactly line up with the beam though there is room to maneuver the visor so that the beam works. Also, the visor does not sit perfectly flat within the case. These are really minor issues and overall I would highly recommend it.

If you care about your PDA don't buy this case
I recently purchased this case for my new Dell Axim as I thought that it would be a good cheap case I could clip to my belt. I was horrified my first day when it fell off my belt as I got off the subway-- If a kind stranger hadn't picked it up, I would have lost it. I tried to tighten the clip but to no avail-- it still can fall off. My Axim did survive these drops, for what it's worth, but I strongly recommend against this case.

Rhino Skin Case Used for the Sony NZ90
This is a universal case and can be used as a nice little case for the Sony NZ90. It's nothing fancy, like all those expensive leather ones for $75. But, for $15, it's a great case. It has a couple of slots for credit cards and a pouch for memory sticks. This case will keep your NZ90 safe from minor bumps, scrapes, and splashes. It won't protect against a bullet, toilet dunking, or a car driving over it, but then, not many cases will do that.

If you just want a simple and efficient case for your NZ90, this is the one to get for only $15.

Get a REAL laptop or PDA!
My company got about 2 dozen of these things about two years ago.....I am guessing that they thought they looked cool or something. As a member of the IT support staff, these things are a complete nightmare. The power supplies are touchy, the memory corrupts and needs to be flashed often, and the keys on the keyboard are not very durable. In addition, Windows CE is just a plan bad OS. Top it all off with little or no service if they do break. We found some company out of California who is charging an arm and a leg per machine that we might as well invest into a real laptop.

On the plus side, these do make really nice door stops.

Clio is great
I own a Vadem Clio and I love it. With a built in modem and the Microsoft Pocket Office software it is the perfect companion to a traveler who doesn't want to lug around a laptop or can't afford one. Its very lightweight and the power cord is very small so it can easily fit inbetween items in your suitcase as well.

The only downside is that like other laptops, if something integrated into the device stops working (ie. the modem) it can get very costly. I did, however, find a way around this and learned that there is a PCMCIA port on the Clio where you can just plug in a standard laptop modem or any PCMCIA device!

Mac OS X 10.2+ driver found!
The missing driver that makes this piece of work, well, work on Mac OS X 10.2.+ can be found here:
http://www.sakarhelp.com/support/select.php?step=3&category_id=2&subcategory_id=8&product_id=60446

Works Fine Just as advertised
This adapter works pretty much like every other serial-to-USB device, the driver installs a new COM port that works through the USB bus. You just plug the cable from the cradle into the iConcepts USB Adapter and then plug the USB adapter into a USB port on your computer. You'll have to reconfigure Hot Sync to use the new COM port after installation, but other than that, installation was easy and the device is transparent to the user. I am really satisfied with this product and I have purchased 2 of them and been using it for over a month now with no problems, It works on my MAC and also works with Windows XP, I got the XP Drivers from the fellow over at iConcepts whom was very helpful. There Phone# is 800 637 1090 and ask for customer service(very informative) I'm really not sure why reviewers of other similar devices are so upset that they all work this way, given that the Palm must connect via a serial port.

Amazing! Works with eTrex GPS, Street Atlas 6 and Mac OS X
Switching over to Mac OS X (10.2) from OS 9 was fearful because I thought there was no GPS supported mapping application in OS X.

Well, to my complete surprise, with the eTrex GPS connected to the iConcepts USB-Serial adapter, Street Atlas 6.0 running in Classic mode found the GPS and is more stable than in OS 9.2.2!
I am not sure which driver is being used - the native OS X driver or the OS 9 Extension - I am guessing it is the OS X (10.2) native driver since I have extensions turned off for Classic.

The adapter is smaller in profile than others and is much cheaper - so buy a couple.
