    Waste of Money
The belt clip broke off the first day I used it. Need I say more.

Want an unsafe case for your Treo? Here it is!
This is pure junk. It is large and gets caught on nearly everything. The belt clip is weak and does not secure the case particularly well. Within a few days you can expect your Treo to fall off your belt and onto the floor -- several times per day! At least Belkin offers a lifetime warranty to send you another badly designed case. Spend a little extra and get a Nutshell case instead.

My favorite until it broke in three months!
THE GOOD STUFF: This holder also fits the Treo 300, which is a little large than the 180 and 270 models. The clip is tight and secure and fits nicely on a belt. The swivel portion of the clip makes carrying a breeze as it allows you to position the unit according to your situation. (Sitting in the car, for example.) The velcro flap secures the Treo quite well. The leather is nice. I thought there was a flaw in it when I noticed the front had a slight bulge/crease in it, until I realized it was a pocket on the front for business cards and such. Turns out to be a nice little touch!

THE BAD STUFF: To use the Treo, you have to pull it out, thus exposing it to possible damage. The velcro is noisy when opening the flap, thus preventing discreet use. And, FINALLY, the "button" on the back that slides into the clip broke off. This renders the case useless as clip-on device. Repair would require cutting stitching from the back, inserting a new "button" and re-stitching the retaining patch of leather back onto the case.

I am now searching other options.

It is too bad it broke like this. Despite its shortcomings, it was the carry case of choice for me. My third try. Maybe it's "fourth time's a charm?"

    not good for M505 either
These fit perfectly into the stylus port of my m505 but then you can't get the darn thing out! It clicks in there and is stuck. Had to use a pen to wedge it out. And for $6.50 it's not worth the hassle of returning. Couldn't find replacements for this particular stylus at Best Buy, PC Richards, OfficeMax or Office Depot. The only other option seems to be to pay twice as much at the Palm online store.

    wrong size for the M515
I waited for a month and it's too big for the Palm.

Not the right size for m500
I bought these replacements when I lost my original stylus. They came 3 weeks after I placed the order and they don't fit, they are too long for my palm m500 by about 4mm. Because of that size difference they stick out of the top and don't click into place like my old stylus. I am very dissapointed with the product. Don't buy this for your m500. Now I'll have to go buy real replacements at a store and trash these.

Addendum: I bought Palm brand replacements for the tungsten e,c or w and these stylus work great, they really snap into place are made of metal and write better than the original one for my m500.

Disappointing, Covers Up Info for the Sake of Branding
I can't fully express you how disappointed I am with this product...

First, the screen overlays are a few centimeters short of the correct screen width. Secondly, and more importantly, the manufacturer printed "belkin.com" on the bottom of each overlay covering up critical information. If you have ever used a Treo you will know what I mean...

Whoever thought this was good branding should be fired from Belkin. The key to intelligent marketing is to reinforce the brand's positive attributes in the minds of its customers. This egregious labeling is nothing more than annoyance and has forced me to look for alternatives. In addition, my anger is further exacerbated by the lack of information regarding this screen invasion on its packaging or product description (in fact on the product picture it leaves the logo out).

I can't believe that a company [Belkin] that went to great lengths to help people, has exhibited such a blatant disregard for its customers in the hopes of advertising its website.

Amazon should inform people of this problem in the product description and/or seek better suppliers.

      Advertisement Blocks View
The name of Belkin's internet site is written in black on the bottom of each overlay. The black type blocks the view of the screen. It's an annoying distraction. This black type is not shown on any of the packaging material, so you won't find out it's there until you open the package and jeopardize your chances of returning the overlays. Believe me, the very visible advertisement is present on each overlay, and you will certainly want to return the lot. That's what I did.

Belkin contradictory on whether it works with the Palm VIIx
The problem is in the polarity of the rechargeable NiMH battery. If the batteries in your Palm go in the same direction, it's fine, but if you have a Palm VIIx, your batteries have to be installed facing different directions or you'll short out the Palm. Palm says it in their manual and Belkin, on the box for this product, says to be careful that you match the battery polarity correctly when installing their battery into your PDA.

The above is contradictory and I can't get a straight answer from them. In the meantime, I won't install the battery for fear that it will harm the PDA. One of the people I spoke with said that if it did, I could make a claim to Belkin to reimburse me for the cost of the Palm VIIx. Not exactly reassuring, especially if you're addicted to your Palm organizer. Besides, if I did so, it would mean that I knowingly did the opposite of the cautions from both PALM and Belkin on battery installation, which means I was negligent - not them.

I have no idea whether this item works well in a Palm VIIx or not - I've had it for almost two weeks and still can't get a straight answer.

Suffice it to say that if you have a Palm PDA with batteries that should be installed in the same direction, it's probably fine. If you don't, use your discretion. And if the tech support guy at Belkin tells you to open up the battery pack and flip the polarities of the batteries - don't! First, the case isn't made to be opened, so you'll have to break it. And if you break it, it can't work no matter what Palm model you have.

Belkin contradictory on whether it works with the Palm VIIx
I've spoken to Belkin's tech support several times in addition to speaking with a product manager and a very evasive, somewhat ticked off service rep, and everyone has a different take of whether or not this charger works with the Palm VIIx (it claims to work with the Palm VII series.)

It worked for about a week
The thing just does not stay plugged in. It is a good idea but after a week or so I kept on having problems with it not staying connected. After a month it stopped working all together.

      don't get this
Crashed my m130 twice the first 2 times I tryed to hotsync, (had to do a hard reset and lost all my programs and data). This is a very GENERIC item. It may say CompanionLink but the packaging says the product comes from a company called incipio. I checked my invoice item number against the item number on the packaging and they match so this is intended.

too little info provided to order
I received this battery pack, only to find out that it requires the Expansion Pack Plus to work. Nothing in the write-ups indicated this. Now I have a battery pack with no place to connect it. Now ... I have to figure out how to return it ... sigh.

Not a good deal is you have battery problems
I bought this battery pack in hopes of extending the life of my Compaq Ipaq 3635. The battery now holds a charge for less that a minutes, and dies. I received this battery pack, only to find out that it requires the Expansion Pack Plus to work. That means, it cost nearly $150 to replace a poor battery, if you include the cost of the Expansion Pack Plus, plus a slimline battery.

Unless you own the Expansion Pack Plus, don't buy this. Either change PDAs, or get a do-it-yourself install kit for the internal battery on the IPAQ.

Warantee gives you a new stylus
I also scoured the internet for a new stylus. The only true replacement I found at HP (amazon.com doesn't ship electronics to Canada and amazon.ca doesn't have electronics yet) for C$26. I read a post on amazon.com about getting a replacement from free simply by calling HP. I called HP Tuesday night and it arrived Thursday morning by Purolator.

You don't need this if you are under warrentee
I broke my stylus and the first place I dashed to was amazon.com. I then asked myself if my machine was under warrentee. It was. I called up HP (india) and they sent me another one. The only question that they asked was if it was an accedent. I told them no and 3 days later it was on my doorstep.

          Jornada 720 Cradle
In no way should anyone spend any money on this cradle....not even a peso. It's flimsy, cheap, and all around worthless. I've had my Jornada 720 for about a year now and I've found that it is easier to either purchase a USB cable or to just use the included serial cable to link my PDA with my PC. The unit constantly sticks in the cradle and sometimes causes minor difficulties in getting a good sync. When you pick up the 720 you feel like you made a good purchase...when you pick up this cradle you feel like you've just dropped a quarter into a gumball machine. Those of you with this cradle know what I mean.

i've found that i don't use my second cradle
summary: if your like me, and want to sync your home and work pcs, there are better ways to do it than with a second cradle.

here's why: the jornada comes with one cradle (which i'll refer to as 'first cradle'), so why would a person need another?

well, being the jornada fan that i am, i decided i needed a second cradle for my home pc (with the first cradle being used at my work pc).

why? i thought to myself, "i would like to keep my two machines in sync with each other". you may similarly want to keep your two machines in sync.

but i don't use the second cradle (at home). why? because i found a much better solution that keeps my pc's in sync - it's by a company called fusionone. They sync both machines every day - and I don't have to bother syncing up my jornada when I go home.

and one other thing - if you do decide you want to sync at home and at work, without carrying the first cradle back and forth, i'd suggest you buy a usb cable. this will let you sync up via cradle at two machines without buying a second cradle. here's how.

connect the cradle to your work machine via usb, and take the included 'serial sync' cable (that comes with the jornada) and connect that to your home machine.

so, if your at work, plug your jornada into your cradle and it syncs via usb.

if your at home, plug your jornada directly into your sync cable and it syncs via serial (which is slower than usb, but still decent).

          not worth the money
Velcro did not hold my palm IIIxe in place. It was very insecure. Nowhere to put credit cards either.

          Back to the drawing board
The case was very nice looking; the only problem was that my Palm IIIc just barely fit into it. The way the zipper is stitched, it is extremely difficult to close and it isn't worth the trouble. Would have loved to keep it, but.... Instead, try the BodyGlove case which is 5-stars!

          HORRIBLE!! Straches screen!
I've used the stylus that originally came with my Toshiba PDA for about two months and never once did I notice a scracth. But as expected... I eventually lost it. So I order a replacement from Belkin. The Belkin stylus are absolutely horrible - they really do some major damage! My PDA is now full of scrathes... and I can't do anything about it. If you decide to purchase this, purchase a separate screen protector or buy instead a Fellows two in one stylus pens. Toshiba branded stylus pen are no good either... they're made by Belkin. It's absolutely unacceptable that toshiba doesn't sell orginal toshiba stylus!
