The cleanest my screen has ever been
This screen cleaner is very easy to use. All you need to do is use 2 cloths, one which is moist for wiping the screen, and the other which is dry for drying the screen. After doing this I found my screen to be almost as clean as when I first bought my PDA. The only downside is that it only comes with 12 wipes. On the other hand though it comes with a TrueTip stylus making this buy a great value.

Forget the price, it's just perfect.
First, I spend quite a while comparing this ... 12 clensing tissues and how much I love my pocket pc. Finally, after order and use it, surprisingly my ipaq screen friction just gone!! I also feel that there is a protection film on the screen. And the best thing is, although not recommend, the polish cloth seems to be reusable, so 1 pack of this cleanser can be used for a year. It's also good for my eyeglasses.

A Must Have for Any PDA
At first I was optimistic with this product, partly because of the price, but I noticed that the TrueTip finger stylus was also included, so I decided to purchase it. The first time I cleaned my screen, it looked brand new! The moist cleaning cloth (step 1) cleans all the dirt, grime, dust, and fingerprints from the screen, the polishing cloth (step 2) really shines the screen up, looking like brand new! I have a few very small scratches on the screen, they seemed to have disappeared after polishing, however, your milage may vary. An added bonus to this great combination was the TrueType Finger stylus. At first it took some getting used it, it is kind of flimsy, but after a couple minutes it works like a charm. I found using my Palm pilot is more comfortable now when using the finger stylus. To keep your screen in ship-shape, clean it using the CompanionLink Screen Cleaner and polish it (just as the directions say), and use the Fellowe's WriteRight screen protectors right after the cleaning, your screen will stay just as it was the day it was bought! The screen protectors last about a month a piece (there are 12 in a pack), so this product should last about a year as well if you use it as I just said! I noticed it said on the box it also cleans eye glasses, computer screens, CD's, DVD's and Laser Discs!

Ok for GeoCaching, good portability but poor battery life
I have this exact unit and have been using for GeoCaching for about 6 months. The guts of the unit are pretty much the same as the more expensive ones - you'll know where you are just fine. Much of the user interface is the same as the more expensive models.

The main pro for this unit (other than price) is size - it's smaller than the next products up the line and easier to just stick in your pocket.

The main con is battery life. The amount of time you get out of 2 AAAs is not so hot. You'll eat up a pair of batteries every time you go out. I counter this by only turning the unit on to get my bearings. With a device that uses AA batteries I would be able to leave it on and use the tracklog/backtrack features. I think about it...

Some other factors to consider;

Display - once you go up above the basic etrex yellow unit the garmin units have higher-res displays, which are nice.

Connectivity - you can do ok without it, but this model is the only one that does not allow waypoint download (not sure about the 201.) Experienced geocachers favor the higher-end models with more memory. They load large numbers of cache waypoints into memory and are ready to go no matter where they are in their home area. If you're a more casual hiker/cacher, then the cheaper models do just as good a job - even this one.

Mapping - the gekkos and the etrex yellow will show you where your waypoints are in relation to each other, but don't show any other features. The more expensive models can do natural features and even uploaded topo maps.

You can GeoCache with almost any GPS. The Etrex yellow is the standard, but this has served me well. Happy Caching!

Great for a runner!
You can buy a GPS w/ more features, but for the money, this little jewel does everything a runner needs and can be clipped onto your waist. It is very lightweight and is hardly noticeable. The stretch carrying case can be bought at Garmin for about $10.00.

I used mine for the first time this past weekend!

Nothing but pleased
I recieved my Geko 101 about two weeks ago, and so far I am very pleased. You can't expect extrordiany things from [an inexpensive] unit, but if you don't want to spend alot, you're not missing much. For the light camper, it's perfect. You can pay ... more to get the Geko 201 with WAAS, which makes it accurate to 10 feet. Or you can skip the WAAS and get this, which is acurate to 50 feet. However, in my experiances, usually this unit is accurate between 25 and 12 feet. An extra 15 ft. so what!

Geko 101:

Pros-
1. Small! It's about the size of a cell phone

2. Lightweight. Because it's so small, it should be obvious that it's very light.

3. Accurate. Even though it doesn't have WASS capabilities it is just as accurate at times.

4. Waterproof. You never know when you might need it.

5. Features. It has just about everything you need or want (minus a detailed map) including when you'll arrive at your destination, speed, elevation, and all different units of measure.

6. Ease of use. The five button configuration makes it easy to use. Let's face it, if you find it difficult,[you shouldn't].

Cons-

1. It's not the greatest GPS ever made, but what do you expect for [the money]?

2. Batteries. This unit takes 2 AAA's. Although life is not a problem (12hrs.) unless you own something else that takes AAA batteries, sometimes they can be a pain.

3. PC compatibility. There's no way to link the Geko 101 to your PC. Oh well, even if you could, it would be $...more for the software.

Grerat product, user interface could be better. Love it.
I bought this unit to use for Geocaching and I recommend it highly. My minimum requirements were that it have WAAS (allows better accuracy under certain circumstances, often as good a 3 meters) and 12 channel operation (gives more consistent operation when the view of the sky is partially obscured, or changing, as when in the woods). This unit seems to be the best value given these requirements.

Overall I am very pleased with the unit. I like the fact that it allows some customization. For intance, one can choose which screens are shown (for example some views are not usefull for geochaching).

My biggest complaint is that the SporTrak, like many electronic devices, has a user interface that appears to have been designed by engineers without any "human factors" experts on the team. Its not a really big deal, but if the user interface were logically thought out I'd have given it a 5 rather than a 4.

Particularly since I only use it ocassionally, I find myself frustrated sometimes by the not-very-intuitive steps need to program in new waypoints and selecting a destination.

Very good unit and a very good value.

Nice replacement for the 315
I lost my trusty 315 and was hoping to not reinvest in cables, etc. Thankfully all of the cables attach and work fine. Even my old case fits it well. The screens are identical to the 315, though this one already feels snappier and more quickly establishes position. I have heard this antenna design is very good, but one needs to hold it upright (vertical) rather than looking at the screen like the Garmin units.

Highly recommend this little unit for basic GPS functions.

Very easy to use and extremely accurate
I have only had my Magellan SporTrak for a few days and it has already amazed me with both it's versatility and precision. It only took about 5 minutes to get it up and running the first time. It has so many features and can hold a lot of waypoints/routes. The receiver can track up to 12 satellites simultaneously, and even though there are normally only 4-8 sats. in the sky above you at one time, it allows accuracy to the foot (my experience). This GPS is a must have if you are into hiking/hunting/fishing or even just for vehicle navigation. It has a strong, rugged design but is still very attractive. It is so easy to use and there is no way you can beat this price.

Good cradle - heavy power supply
This is a good charger that works as advertised.
However, I had hoped I could also use it as a travel charger. It can work that way, but the power supply is heavy and so it is not optimal for that purpose.

Great things come in small packages.
This cradle works as advertised. It is dramatically smaller than the standard cradle that came with my Tungsten C. The connection to the palm is much tighter than the standard cradle - you can feel the little clips click into the Palm which assures me of a good connection. It is cool with the lights, but as mentioned in another review, you can't turn off the backlight unless you unplug it. The backlight is brighter than I expected, but I like that fact...

I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a cool looking, small sized replacement or spare.

The cradle that should have come with the Tungsten T3
In short, this is the cradle that should have come with the Tungsten T3...it is as sleek and beautiful as the T3 and is also a perfect color match. Looks as good on your desk without a Palm as it does with one. Too bad it's so expensive though...wait for the next sale to get one.

Glad I Upgraded
Previous happy owner of a Clie NR60 but had to upgrade when I dropped it and broke the screen. The NX73 has everything I liked about my previous machine and in addition is Faster, has better screen resolution, and the Upgraded Palm OS. The Decuma handwriting recognition is great. The more I use it the more I like the ablity to take notes in my writing. The camara is lame and not a reason to buy this machine. The option for using CF cards is great plus in flexibility and cost. If you like to type your notes into your PDA, then this machine is not for you. The touch of the keyboard gives barely enough feedback. The Tungsten C has much better keyboard feel if you feel this is important. Bottom Line, if you like the big screen of the CLIE clamshell models (which to me makes a big difference), this is definitely the machine to buy.

Excelent option for palm lovers
I came from using TRGpro & Handera 330. Difficult to find a new PalmOS machine with the high usability of extinguished models.
I bought this unit recently, and love it. The screen is sharp (screen protector is a must before any use) and colourful. The dual card option (memory stick & CF) is scarse in PalmOS PDAs. I am a pediatrician an use both 1GB CF & 512MB MSPro cards. If you need to store a lot of data for reference or database needs, then NX-73V or NX-80V is for you. The difference: 5MB more (real) RAM and 1.3MP camera for NX80V. But NX73V is comparable in use and has a beautiful black case.
JackFlash is a must to take use of 15MB aditional FlashROM memory available inside the NX73V, so you take many files off RAM (to cards or FlashROM) to make space available.
Hope Palm & others will offer dual card capability in the future for PalmOS, but it would be unlikely.

I like it!
I gotta say, I bought this thing thinking that I would probably just use it to store numbers and play MP3's. I've owned the old Palm Pilot Original, the Palm V, and now this Clie. I must say that the Clie simply blows everything else out of the water. It's like a mini computer! I can view pictures, PDF's, XLS, DOC with the bundled software. The screen resolution is really awesome.

I've found myself taking it wherever I'm going (which is the point of a PDA!!!). This never happened before with my older PDA's because they were simply calendars and phonebooks... I enjoy having the camera on me at random times. Taking a little picture of my favorite dish at a restaurant or capturing a great picture of my dog at the park. Those are times you always wished you had brought your digicam but never had it on you!

The DECUMA input sucks... you need to write really neatly and separate e a c h l e t t e r so that it knows what you're talking about. I much prefer Graffiti 2. Graffiti 2 is soooo much cooler than Graffiti 1 that I have been using previously. BUT best of all, this thing has a QWERTY keyboard. I cannot stress how much nicer it is to use the QWERTY. I haven't used the stylus much at all. Most of my inputs are now a process of using my fingertip and then using the keyboard. It REALLY is much faster.

I also enjoy the fact that the thing doesn't have to boot up to get to the digicam or the voice recorder. One click of either button and the unit automatically snaps to the application you are requesting. I am enjoying taking oral notes with the voice record feature when I'm on the go and don't have time to type.

Overall, I'd suggest that you also check out the NX80 due to the better camera. I think I'll buy an NX80 eventually, but right now, for the price, the 73V does exactly what I need without costing TOO much.

Functional, simple. Free with my purchase of the SJ22. Also, doesn't look bad, plain and sleek.

Great case.
Bought this to protect my SJ22. Had a plam M125 and it was dropped and never worked right again. Having the clie on your belt is very handy.

Fits Clie SJ20 well, has well holding belt loop
Very good and well fitting for the SJ20, feels very secure on the belt. Velcro closure works well. Has decent amount of padding. This is good if you are looking for a case you do not have to hand-carry, and keeps Clie secure

An extra cradle makes all the difference
This is the same cradle that comes with the Clie, so the real value of this unit is as an extra. There are two major uses that I've found for this unit. First, as an extra for my work computer, so I can just drop my clie in the charger and do a backup sync. That's especially useful when I've been listening to MP3 files. Second, as just the detachable power cord which allows me to use this as a travel unit, and keep the Clie powered.

I found the price to be reasonable, considering the fact that it's a model and manufacturer specific interface.

Works great out of the box, no complications, and has quickly become part of my technology toolbox.

Sony Cradle vs. iConcept USB Sync Cord
I wanted to amend an inaccuracy in my review below for the Sony USB Cradle. I mentioned -- erroneously -- that the iConcepts USB Sync Cable does not work since it doesn't have a hot sync button. I just learned that its possible to sync my Clie via the Hot Sync icon in my program menu, and the iConcepts USB Sync Cable works just fine!

A Sync Cord and Charger - Separately or Together! Cool!
Leave it up to Sony to come up with a better sync cradle, bravo! For the Clie 760c, the cradle (for syncing) and the AC adapter (for charging) can be used -- together or separately -- which makes them quite versatile.

The flexibility is accomplished by fitting each piece with its own adapter plug -- so that either can be attached directly to the PDA. (The back of the cradle also accepts the charger's plug so that the two units can be used together.)

When combined, the two operate as a normal desktop charge-up-your-PDA type sync cradle.

But when used separately -- as I do -- the sync cradle makes for a great portable sync cord (which I carry with my laptop, no AC plug-in required, thank you very much!); and I use the power cord to recharge my Clie overnight -- in any room of my house (since, as a power cord only, attaching it to my PC isn't necessary, hooray!).

Since I had a bad experience buying a non-Sony (iConcepts) sync cable (that had no sync button, get that!, making data transfer impossible), its nice to know that I can still obtain both functions -- charger and sync cord -- by buying just one Sony-made cradle for my Clie. Cool!

My Favorite Of The Soft Cases
I looked at many cases before I purchased a Dooney & Bourke Palm V Case. I liked its sleek styling and rail attachment. In my pocketbook it didn't take up much more space than the palm itself. However I am thinking switching to a hard case design because soft cases in general allow pressure from other items in your purse to turn the palm on inadvertantly. Thus consuming your battery power more quickly.

UNDERSTATED ELEGANCE
The case is elegant and exudes quality. I particularly liked the material used to line the business card holder (this is barely seen in the pictures). The case is also sown not glued. Buyers however must realize that it has no latch/closing mechanism so this case is excelent for a jacket pocket but may not be your best bet if you toss your Palm around.

Good price - Very Elegant
Very very Elegant...It's nice and I love It... Well done and elegant again.... This is a case for a Palm V, NO dubt....

POCKET VERSION
This is the pocket version of the Franklin Covey Planner. It is listed on amazon twice, this listing and another which has a cheaper price! The suggested retail on this is really 69.95 NOT 99.95. The suggested retail listed for this item is for the compact version (a step up from this one).

Excellect acessory choice
As a student, I have a ton of things to keep straight. I often find myself with a dozen scraps of paper by the days end. Or I find myself wanting to give out information, but no pen or paper. This planner is a perfect addition to my hectic lifestyle. It holds all my necessities for the day. Not only do I keep all my important items stored along with my PDA but I also use my binder as a purse. It's was a wise investment for a poor college student.

A must for someone using their Palm for business
This is absolutely the best way to keep your Palm safe, secure, and handy for business. As everyone knows, a Palm pilot is fragile, so putting it in this binder makes a lot of sense. This is better than all binder attachments. My Palm doesn't totally eliminate my need for some paper notes, so this item doubling as a paper planner is great. Well worth the money.

Great PDA
this Handspring Visor Neo Clear is a great pda for all ganeral purpose. And is great for most of my everyday needs.Infinitely expandable with optional Springboard expansion modules

Works Fine
Small enough to stay out of the way on my desk at work (Which I share) and works well. no problems so far.

Expand your possibilites!
This is a great idea for those who like to Hotsync their info in more than one location. I bought one of these to use at work so that I could enter all work-related calendar issues and sync right there on the spot.
