At first I didn't see the point in having the added projection feature but now it is my favorite part of the alarm clock. The radio quality is alright, perfect for low volume listening. Projection is easy to read and very easy to focus. Also love the snooze feature! There is now one of these in every room plus I gave three additional ones out as Christmas gifts!

The GPX C1285 AM/FM DUEL CASSETTE RECORDER KARAOKE MACHINE is the coolest karaoke machine i have ever seen! I was wondering is you had to sing along with tapes or if you could put a blank tape in and sing by yourself and it will record your voice. i won't that karaoke machine so much that is why i was writing a reveiw because i don't have enough money to get it i have to wait until Christmas or for two monthes. I just can't wait that long. So i hope i will win so i can but that cool karaoke machine. I really hope that i win. Because i really can't wait until i can get that karaoke machine. Thanks

Wakes me up every morning and the nice big numbers help me find my bed in the dark. I also don't have to put on my glasses to see it! haha. For the price the sound isn't that bad either.

The kids loved it and now the family can be sure of coordinating the shopping in half the time as Dad with son go one place and the mother with daughter another! It's great value for money also and will provide great adventures in our travels to the Zoo and elsewhere apart from shopping malls.

I got one of these free with purchase of my Kenwood Sirius Ready tuner and installed it in my minivan behind a sidewall. It came with a long cable to connect to the in-dash controller. And with the Terk antenna there was plenty of cable length to get the antenna to the rear of the roof. I used cable ties rather than the bolt-on brackets to mount the Sirius tuner.

Anyway it fired right up and Sirius activation was a cinch from the internet.

The sound is great - better than FM. It must talk digitally to the controller.

I'm an engineer and technically Sirius is a better system than XM. And for me, Sirius programming is better - more sports and news.

I think the Kenwood model ubz-gm14 2 way radio is one of the better ones for the money. I just got mine about two weeks ago and its great. It has a good range, has a good weight, and buttons are in a good arangement. It has the NOAA weather chanel option and gives sheet telling all of them in the USA and Canada. The LCD screen is easy to see and the light on it makes it for good night use. Its good for any where were u need to cheap in touch at sport events, malls, or on a skiing mountain.

I have a friend who has this item. I was quite impressed with the sound quality and style. I am placing my order today. Don't hesitate. It's a great product.

It does everything they say it does, and looks and works great, it is hard to get to excited about this product, but I don't understand why would spend alot on one of these, buy two, use it till it is dead, throw it away and bust out the back up model, or buy another one. Lets face it, this is a portable stereo, and they get worked, don't spend alot, enjoy it and when/if it dies buy a new one. this one is great, and works great for the price, it was as expected for the money.

Before I write my review, I want to say that this is my first review here on Amazon.com. Well I guess I must be way out of the loop here as I just discovered this type of a device, a way of connecting audio devices to your car without the need for the conventional cassette car adapter. I've been looking at these things for a few days now and decided that I was going to go with the Belkin TuneCast II Mobile FM Transmitter from Best Buy.

I go there only to find they didn't have any, so I decided I'd get this one instead, which surprisingly, (at least not at the time of this review), wasn't listed on their web site, So before I left I bought along my Sony Walkman with a few tapes I love listening to so that I could test this thing out when I got it.

As the instructions say, insert the RadioPlay in to your cigarette lighter, connect the mini headphone jack in to your portable device, select the FM station you want the sound to come through, select the same FM channel on your RadioPlay and your good to go. Living here in Maine, USA there are no stations on 88.1, (I checked before I bought this and you should too).

There is an 88.3 which is clear as a bell but there is nothing coming in on 88.1, so I chose this as my default station, (I didn't test the others). Turning the sound all the way up on my Walkman I was able to hear it coming through the speakers, and boy is it cool! Using my CD player I was able to adjust the bass, treble and volume accordingly to get the best sound, and it's very good.

Some people complain you hear static noise coming from the speakers, while this is true, (it doesn't block this), it plays over the top of it and unless your playing a ballad or listening to speech, this won't be a problem, the static noise was quiet anyway, so for me it wasn't a big deal.

The sound highly depends on your car stereo setup, the clarity of the recording and I'm sure your audio device would have something to do with it. I do have an MP3 player but I didn't test this, I would probably say that if your MP3s are at 320Kbps, 44Kz Stereo, you could probably get it sounding at 128Kbps with a little less clarity. If you could get CD sound or close to it, you'll just hear a bit of static in the background, (particially with songs that don't have many instruments or as I said ealier, ballads / speech).

On the packaging, it doesn't state what the range is, so I'm not sure if for example, the person driving behind you could pick it up, they might be able to, but it probably wouldn't be all that clear, no big deal. Overall, this thing rocks, I can't wait to test this out with some other tapes and my MP3 player, absolutely well worth it!
