-- BUTTON LAYOUT: Many alarm clocks have a control that switches "ON/OFF/AUTO". This clock separates the radio control and the alarm control, so it is not difficult to turn on the radio while the alarm is set.

-- BACKLIT LCD: Much softer on your eyes than those bright red numbers that you may see in other models. The brightness of the backlight is also adjustable.

-- PRICE: For under twenty bucks, the range of features and quality should easily sell this alarm clock.

I always had trouble finding a clock radio I liked until I bought this one. The numbers are large, the controls are well placed, and it is very easy to set and back up if you go too far. The snooze button is big, which keeps you from hitting the wrong button. The dynamic bass boost gives it pretty good sound (for a clock radio) and the reception is good - the antenna is built into the power cord. I would recommend this product to anyone.

this little radio/cd/alarm clock has GREAT sound for such a small device! It's easy to use, and sounds like a much larger stereo! Finally a small appliance to fit any space!

I have not bought this product but have noticed while shopping that the same two line review has been given for a number of cassette players. I gave it 5 stars because I haven't bought it so I felt I did not want to change the average rating. Whats more is that the writer always gives a 5 star rating. Who is writing these reviews?

This cassette player is durable and reliable considering how many times I have dropped it. The gold color is different than any of the others too. My favorite feature is the dynamic bass boost - it has two settings and it really sounds good.

I always try to buy Philips products because I am Dutch and they are a Dutch company. I'm glad they finally started getting creative with their products and adding some colors. This green cassete player looks great and is really durable. The sound quality is pretty good too.

For a basic cassette player this is the one! Its lightweight and durable. I got it in silver but it comes in colors too. You can't beat the price either.

While most people are playing CDs, I still enjoy listening to my collection of cassettes. And this player lets me do just that! It is quite durable and fairly compact. It comes with good quality ear phones too! If your still listening to cassettes, I recommend this player!

This is a pretty good cassette radio. I really like the 20 station presets and it is made very durable because I have already dropped it a lot! The price is right too!

This is a very good boombox, nicely packaged, easy controls, and a natural display of its parts. The sound is better than expected for a boombox of this price, would have expected it to cost [more] at the local stores. The colors go so very nicely with my bedroom furniture, that it seems to have been made just for it. The CD player is very easy to use and its sound is just like being at the Music Concert Hall downtown. This lets me record directly into the cassette player and give them to my friends at school, who really like the quality of the recordings so far. Overall it is a great boombox with a digital tuner that makes listening to my favorite radio channels a breeze. Thanks Phillips for such a well designed item.
