I have been looking for a boombox for a long time, and finally I found the one, which is really best for my needs. It also has a remote control I was looking for. I can listen to music no matter where I am with my remote control! The price? I think it is absolutely reasonable to buy, and I really recommend other to consider to buy this wonderful boombox!

I did some shopping at an electronics store and saw this model. I didn't want to spend more than $.... I checked to see if Amazon had it. The sound and base boost is far superior to makes that cost much more. Also very sleek looking. I was impressed with how fast I received it (only 4 days}.

I like this smaller size CD boombox. It has a lot of great features that more expensive boomboxes have. The bass sounds pretty good with the bass boost button. This makes a great gift for a teenager.

If you really like the color green, this is your boombox! That is the only reason I bought it and I was pleasantly surprised because it sounds so good too! It is the perfect size and would make a great gift for a graduate.

This boombox is not only a good design but it sounds pretty good too! I wanted something small to take to the beach and this really fit my needs. I didn't expect it to sound as good as it does. Philips is really starting to make some quality products!

i think that this cd cassete recorder has changed my life. It gives me pleasure everyday with the sweet music it provides. I declare this the best thing in my life in terms of musical performance. Thank you Philips for making such a grand product.

I record a lot of CDs onto tape so I can play them in my car and in my walkman. This is pretty durable and I like the high speed dubbing feature. The CD synchro recording makes it easy to start recording from CDs too. I think this is a great buy on a dual deck cassette/CD boombox.

When I recently went into a department store and saw this model on sale, I could not say no, especially since I already own one other model by Philips and have been very satisfied with its performance. My other one has an analog tuner, so I purchased this as an upgrade, since it has digital tuning. Radio reception is excellent, and interference from strong FM stations is almost nonexistent. Very selective FM tuner (although the analog tuning sometimes locks onto a station better). Plus, with 30 station presets, you'll be able to set all your favorite channels. The CD player is excellent, and is surprisingly quick at reading the disc and changing tracks. It also shows both the track number and the time, and can play CD-RW discs. Tape deck performance is also good, and the full automatic shut-off feature comes in handy if you want to rewind or fast forward a tape to its end- you don't have to stay there waiting for it to stop. Great sound quality, and the dynamic bass boost is terrific. The lights on the front tell you what you're playing (radio, tape, or CD) and there's even a "battery low" indicator. One other thing I'd like to point out, however- the unit appears to have four speakers, but the so-called "tweeters" are not really tweeters at all. If you look closely you'll find that the cabinet is molded to look like they are there. Still the sound quality is terrific. Overall I would definitely recommend this model. Excellent performance at an even better price. Don't pass on this one.

I have literally been looking for the past 3 years for an alarm clock to replace my existing sony alarm clock (which I have had for 14 years).

My only complaint with my existing sony alarm clock was that I have poor eyesight and could not read the number well. That said, I liked everything else about it, so getting a new one was not a huge priority.

Wow. Am I glad I waited.

For a measly $20 bucks, I got a this clock radio from RCA. It has all the feature of my old sony clock radio: 2 dual alarms, digital radio tuner (I dont understand why *anyone* would even bother with a radio with a manual tuner at this point), snooze, sleep, and a decent battery back up that actually works.

Add to this RCA's additional features: HUGE number readout, auto dimming mode, atomic clock set (you dont even need to set the time), nap functinality, each alarm can be radio or buzzer (with grad-u-wake), variable snooze, variable nap, variable sleep.

The controls for this are great too. For example, you tune the digital radio with a dial on the side - this is much more pleasing that those stupid up and down buttons found on most radio tuners.

...and all of this for $20 bucks. it's great. buy it.

Need to change the clock back an hour for Daylight Saving Time?
This feature packed clock radio will let you go BACK that hour simply by pressing the reverse button instead of having to go 23 hours foward like many clock radios.
The gradual volume increase for the wake alarm is a neat feature and the Nap feature can be set from 10 minutes to 2 hours in 10 minute increments.
