One isn't enough! Bring it back! But, I'm a true fan of this clock. I have a hard time seeing blue or green digital clocks. The red LED numbers are large and visible even in the bright Arizona daylight. The snooze button is right in the front, which I like. The alarm sets both forward _and_ backward (instead of having to go through the whole cycle again if you missed). It has a digital timer with memory settings (I've not used that feature much; I'm a one-station kind of gal). Even with my glasses off, in the middle of the night, I can roll over and easily see the time---yet the clock isn't so bright it keeps me awake (like my husband's current clock does!).
I have two complaints, one minor(!) and one major(!). The minor one: the buttons on top have little recesses around them, which collect the dust from our dust storms---I would like to see something more integrated (similar to the buttons on the KitchenAid blenders designed for easy cleaning). The major complaint: I can't find this clock _anywhere_ any more! Both my husband and my son want my clock. I can't bear to give it up, but they both need the alarm clock more than I do. *sigh*
Not only would I recommend this clock, I want RCA to bring this model (with the RED LEDs) back, so I can buy 4 or 5 more!
GREAT NAP FEATURE
Great features! Love it!Another nice feature is that the sleep button holds the last setting. Most clocks set themselves for one hour as soon as you hit the button so if you set it for twenty minutes and then accidentally hit the sleep button again, you have the reset it for twenty minutes. On THIS clock it holds that twenty minute setting until you change it. It also lets you move backwards and forwards so if you miss the twenty you don't have to start over.
As far as the basics go, it has a large clear display, clear and crisp sound, and sharp tuning. My only complaint is that the small buttons are a bit uncomfortable to press. That shouldn't be a major issue though.
In short, I love this clock and highly recommend it!

Nice Sound
Cheap, portable and you may buy two
Great inexpensive boombox!Great little boombox, needs slightly better bass but overall sound quality is very good. CDs have all played without a problem, nice features in being able to see where in a disc you are, set playback options (random, repeat, etc.). Radio reception is very good, half the time I don't even have to use the antenna. Can put in nine presets, I really like this option! Cassette player is also good, my major complaint with that is no reverse playback. That's a bummer, but otherwise the controls are all very well laid out, and the boombox isn't made of overly chintzy materials.
It's a really neat color and shape - sort of like a little donut or spaceship with a handle. Requires 4 AA batteries to run the clock when it's not plugged in, that was a pain the first time because I made all my presets then turned off the switch for the electrical socket by accident. Oops.
Has an alarm, and the coolest thing about the radio option is you can set the alarm music volume to be different from the sleep mode music volume. That way you can set music to play for up to an hour while you go to sleep at a nice low volume, then let it blast away at a higher volume when the alarm goes off. Also has a timer, so I carry this thing into the kitchen when I'm cooking.
Very compact, very portable, and everyone who comes over wants to play with it. Overall, definitely a good purchase and worth the money for a small, powerful boombox that you can carry from room to room.

These are good
PR1100 WX COBRA 2 way radios GOOD RECEPTIONI selected the 1100WX for its claim of a 5 mile range and the NOAA alerts. I also had been advised that Cobra produced a reliable product. I found the manual very easy to read and quickly had the radios programmed for my use.
For several days I tried the radios on the way to work and back on the opposite side of town. I didn't have much luck after approximately 1.5 miles from home but this area is very hilly and there are industrial sites in town. This limited the range.
I tried them away from town. First on a 4 mile country run. At the 1/2 way point of 2 miles reception was difficult in the lowland but once I cleared the hill the reception was fine.
Next, I tried the reception at 5 miles to the parking lot at the state game lands. This was over very hilly terrain. The radios picked up a very clear signal. I ran up the mountain on the access road which is approximately 2 miles up to the top of the mountain. The signal was even better.
I would strongly recommend these radios for distances in town of l - 2 miles and outside of town from 2.5 - 5 miles. The voice activation option takes some getting used to, however, once programmed, they are simple enough for a 5 year old to use.

Someone who doesnt want to spend a lot
Pretty good radioThe included earphones are adequate, but you may find them to be a little uncomfortable for long periods of time as they are not "sculpted" to the shape of the ear. I personally use my own.
Overall, due to its light weight and good radio reception, this radio is highly recommended if you like to listen to the radio while exercising.
