Mixed feelingsHaving used two regular carkits before, I found I always had trouble with the microphone not working as it's supposed to. I could hear people, but they were unable to hear me. Bluetooth seemed like a perfect option.
The Jabra solves this problem. The only time you'll find people unable to hear you if you're walking outside in the wind. Other than that, reception is excellent on both ends.
Setting up the Jabra is rather easy. Hold the main button for 5 seconds, configure your phone to link the two devices, and you're pretty much done.
The first headset I got didn't quite function properly at first, but the company I bought it from replaced it, and ever since, it works. To some extend.
The problem is the headset seems to drop calls quite a bit. In the middle of a convo, suddenly the call is back at your phone, which is quite annoying.
Using it in your car is not a problem though. Pick it up, put the speaker in your ear, press the main button, and you're talking.
It's a nice product, but the dropped calls make for quite some annoyance.
A lot of trouble for a lot of money

Poor voice quality, microphoneAlso, the earbud "bands" continue to pop off--very poor design. It's fairly comfortable as far as earbuds go, but it's a pretty low-quality device. Skip this and buy something better.
Comfortable, decent voice qualityAll in all, a useful headset.
Best "teardrop" design I've seen

Nice but far from perfectThe problems I found with the product are as follows:
1) The VOX is useful but doesn't always work as one would hope. It has a tendency to pick up every little sound and if you turn down the sensitivity then the VOX won't pick up every word so you have choppy transmissions. Examples Too High : "(air from walking, breathing) Hey this is so-and-so and I am back at camp. (more air from walking, breathing) BLEEP(end of transmission signal) (more breathing and air)" Too Low : "This BLEEP so-and-so BLEEP camp BLEEP" It might be possible to find a perfect setting, but I sure haven't found it yet and I have been playing around with them.
2) The PTT button is kind of sensitive. When I use the PTT (which is always since VOX would pick up any and every paintball shot) the button is very similar to the buttons on my FRS-100 because they have to be pushed hard and right in the center. Press any bit off of the center of the button and you will get choppy transmission similar to the ones in the VOX example.
Don't get me wrong, they are kinda nice and if you are willing to put up with the PTT button and the VOX, they are wonderful.

OK sound but very flimsyOnce you get it on and position it properly, and if you don't move around much (you can't recline or lay on your back, for example, without it feeling like it'll fall off), it's comfortable and the sound is good. But it's a little too much work to get there . . . I've found far better headsets since buying this one.

Be careful on their promising ratesSo Please be careful on the rate they promise. (the rate printed in the manual is even lowe, which is $0.029 but they refuse to do anything on this).
Talk for CheapThis product is only as good as your connection to your local ISP. If you get lousy connect speeds and slow internet responses (*ie slow "PING" responses) with your computer/modem setup then you may be fustrated with this product. The other thing to watch for is the long distance rates. I am not using the Yap Jack as much (Dec 2001) since AT&T is selling long distance calling cards (Typically found at your local SAMS club/Costcos) that have better per minute charges that Yap (to some countries).
*See the ... title "The Sory of Ping" for a overview of what ping is and how you quantify the rosbustness of your internet connection

Great home system
Great phone system!ALSO -- the reason I went with this phone is because it does NOT interfere with 802.11b as some of the others, especially Panasonics, do (the Gigarange Extreme interferes).
We like it so much, we're getting another

Horrible
i like them.
Wow! These headphones are AMAZING!!!!!!
This pair turned out to be an almost complete disappointment. To be sure, the sound quality is fantastic; the treble is nice and high, the bass is spectacular for 'phones so small...
Unfortunately, the sound quality is not so good as to make up for the major problem with the 'phones: a glaring design flaw. The headphones do not come with earpads, nor do they have a soft rubber coating to keep them planted in your ears. They're made entirely of HARD PLASTIC. Not only do they not stay put, but, kept in your ears long enough, it's enough to cause severe pain.
It's nigh on impossible to find just replacement earpads, without having to buy a new set of headphones.
If you already have a set of earbuds with earpads you can re-use, these may not be such a bad replacement. But if you want something comfortable and ready-to-use right out of the box, look elsewhere.
Two stars, and only that because of the good sound quality.
