I bought this phone free after rebate and it's one of those rare tiny phones with the keypad in the base. This makes it an ideal wall phone. I can't say it's useful as a desk phone as the base slides around despite it's heavy weight. The keypad in the base is a good plus for a phone this inexpensive--usually you need to get a much more expensive speaker phone just for buttons in the base. If you spend a lot of time with voice-response systems, as many of us do with voice mail and such, this telephone is the most convenient way to do it for the least money.

The handset is weird. The microphone is entirely too skinny and if you're a shoulder-holder you probably won't like the phone. The handset cord is long enough but it's the cheap dull-finished kind that gets dirty easily. Get a nice AT&T Tuff Cord to replace it.

I was actually looking for the Sony corded phone(IT-B3) at the store when I came across this phone.

My gosh what can I say.. I love it! For its price there is literally nothing cooler than this. Compared to the otherATT DesignLine phones, this is the most stylish. I can't believe I got a work of art for this price ;)

The unit feels solid, sleek and the handset is light the the sound comes over crisp and clear. Since I just got this unit, I can't say how reliable it is, but it looks tough.

I spent 2 weeks looking for a cordless 2-line phone that looked decent and wasn't too flimsy. I now have the ATT E2562 since 2 weeks. I'm using the it with a regular phone line and a Vonage VOIP phone line. Caller ID works flawlessly with both lines.
Base station and handsets have built-in speaker phone that works better than any other speaker phone that I'm familiar with except Polycoms.
Set-up was very easy, design is nice.
Reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that you can't upload or synchronize phone books (tested an Olympia Bluetooth cordless, but it was too flimsy), but have to punch in all the info.

This is the first time in a long time that I've been impressed with an AT&T product. Finally, a phone which has all of the features that I want:

- 2.4GHz DSS and frequency hopping so that it doesn't interfere with my wireless network (it has no affect on my wireless network whatsoever, and my unwired laptop sits less than a foot away from the phone);
- Full duplex speakerphone--AT&T doesn't seem to call alot of attention to this feature (it is noted only on the box), but this is a must-have feature for my work environment, and the sound quality is better than other AT&T office phones that I've used (though not quite up to the standard of my Polycom phone);
- Headset port on the base with a button on the base that allows you to easily switch between speakerphone, headset, and the corded handset;
- Two lines--why is this feature so unusual??
- And a wireless handset for when I'm not sitting next to the base.

The phone worked perfectly right out of the box; no need to register the included handset with the base. The clarity of the handset is excellent, and it has terrific distance, even though there is no antenna on the base, and just a short stub antenna on the handset. The handset is similar to the Panasonic 2700-series of expandable phones, though it is maybe an inch smaller and has the stub antenna (I have the Panasonic throughout my home, but I now prefer the AT&T).

AT&T has finally hit a home run, and it's about time!

I purchased this phone as a father's day present for my husband. It has been great so far. The controls are very easy to use. I love the caller id.

I wanted a 2.4 Ghz telephone with caller ID, a lighted face to read the ID and one that was wall mountable. I also wanted a telephone that didn't have an answering machine attached to it because I want this phone in my kitchen. DO YOU KNOW HOW DIFFICULT IT IS TO FIND A PHONE JUST LIKE I DESCRIBED? It took a lot of searching. With that being said, this phone works perfectly. Clarity is outstanding. Range is outstanding. The phone looks just a great as it works. No antenna protruding either. The phone keeps a charge for a really long time. It hasn't gone out on me yet and I'll leave it laying around for 3 or so days before I hang it back up. It's easy to operate. 2 thumbs up to the designers of this phone. They got this one right!

In my office I'm stuck next to a noisy air conditioner and have trouble hearing customers when they call. I can hear them with this thing. It doesn't eat batteries either.

No one knows I am using it at work. Very easy to conceal from view so no one knows I am losing my hearing. Takes a 9v battery. Adjustable volume is great. However, there is no instruction manual to tell you that you put it between the handset and the phone unit. Cheaper than the Plantronics model online and just as good.

We have the 25 foot cable for our internet connection and the ten foot cable on our phone. Big improvement over the standard phone cord. No static on the phone, better resolution on the monitor.

I am extremely happy with this phone cable. I'm smiling see > :)
Anyway, I needed to run my phone line across the living room for my "new office". Anyway it got run over by my chair too many times and I would get disconnected like every 20 minutes. This cable has solved that problem. I used to be connected at 14,000 bps before I ran my old cable over and now I connect at 19,200 bps. So that's like an extra 18,000,000 b an hour. Every little bit helps if your stuck with dial-up so you might as well make the most of it and get one of these things.

This cordless phone is actually a handset that operates with Panasonic's Multi-Handset System Cordless Phones. It is compatible with the KX-TG2700S, KX-TG2720S, KX-TG2730S, or KX-TG2740S.
Must have the base station to use this.

This phone is awesome. I use 2 lines, and this setup is amazing. I have the KX-TG2740S and it's the only phone I need in my house. Being able to have a phone with no phone jack is brilliant. Anyone with a new house looking for phones, look no further. This system of phones is for you. A bit pricey, but completely worth it!

This is a great little phone for the most part.

1)The buttons are not tiny, so you won't be pressing the wrong numbers by mistake.

2)The digital readout is good, but after about two years it begins to fade a bit.

3)The sound quality is clear.

4)The cord is way too short though. You have to be sitting right next to the phone. But I simply replaced it with a longer cord.

5)Programing is not too complicated, but keep the manual nearby for when you have to re-program numbers. It is not simple enough to remember how to do it easily.

But it is better than most other phones I have used. I would recommend it to anyone who was looking for a new phone.

I recently purchased this phone and I expect this will more than pay for itself in a short time. I am using this phone along with a calling card (3.5 cents per minute)to save money and the hassle of trying to call during certain times on the various calling plans. No calling plan comes close to using some of todays calling cards.
I use one of the buttons for the phone number of the calling card, another for the pass code, then another for the party you wish to talk to. This takes a couple of seconds, then you have a crystal clear connection.
When there is a need to be on hold for a while, you just push the speaker phone button to free yourself of having to hold the phone up to your ear. I opt to use the speaker phone on all calls, then I pick up the when the phone is answered.
I hope this phone lasts. I'm hoping for these to come on sale as this will save time (and money)in shopping for the holidays.

The Jog Dial feature takes a little getting used to but once you have it down it is a huge time saver. The phone also looks great on my desk in my home office. The Caller ID works well and allows you to screen your calls. I never realived how many people there were that I really didn't want to talk to.

This phone is terrific. I ordered 2 of them and they were so good, I ordered 2 more. They are easy to use and will save time for those who learn to use its features.

When the battery in my panasonic cordless phone went flat and would no lonegr hold charge I bough an aftermarket replacement. After 3 months the replacement was as bad as the battery I replaced. So far the Panasonic replcement has worked fine.

I'm just now buying my first replacement battery. I have used this battery in my phone for over 6 years. Held a charge for days and days.

This amplifier is awesome.Especialy the price.The amp is so cool you can do all kinds of stuff on it.If you want to spend your money on $600 amps go ahead but i choose this one.

Plantronics has been in the phone business a long time, and it shows in the M12 amplifier. The unit is fairly easy to install. You start by pluggin it into the handset jack on the phone (some digital phone systems like Toshiba Strata Dk will offer an optional headset card - use that as you'll get better phone operation).

You may need 2 AA batteries (or the optional AC adapter), depending on your phone system. Plug in your headset (make sure its compatiable with the quick disconnect plug on the amplifier), and adjust a slider on the side of the amp to select one of five settings (use the one that gives the best quality sound and operation, you won't harm the amp by experimenting). Now you are ready to dial.

What makes this a good product? It is easy to install and configure, sound quality is excellent, and plantronics build quality is exceptional. It should last a long time and endure heavy use, even in a professional call center.

One note, this amplifier will not work with dial in the handset phones. Not too many of those around these days, but its good to be aware of it.
