3 stars
Nice PhoneThe only two small details that I don't like are that the cord is way to small but that can be replace for a few bucks and the ringer isn't really loud and there is no way to adjust it.
Overall it still rates five stars with me.

good daylight general purpose camerapc-cam 750 has it all.. video, audio, webcam, pictures.
and it works fine.. with one exception
lighting!
pictures are either too dark or too bright
donno what is the problem
works ok in daylight but not otherwise
so you have to take care in that regard
also it is a 1.3MP camera.. only interpolated to 2.1MP
it has a good sensor.. still does not perform as well as expected...
i would suggest you better buy a HP model available for $180 with optical zoom, lcd and memory slots than this one at $110
Great webcam, and a great camera! When I did a video conference with my dad, the video on his end came in crisp using cable connections on both ends. The video recording feature on the webcam is also great, but I have yet to find a feasible use for it. For the money, this camera is well worth it's weight in gold.

- 5-level handset volume control
- 16-digit LCD readout

good enough? This definitely was what I was looking for, except for a few annoying flaw. There are plenty of corded telephones in the market, and I would have reconsidered this purchase if I knew about these ahead of time.
CONS:
- VERY short cord. (between base and the handset)
- NO caller ID.
- The "low" ring volume is not low enough and I end up turning it off instead.
- There is NOT WAY that you'll be able to do ANYTHING without the manual. There are a few non-intuitive steps involved with doing just about anything, including raising and lowering the volume and turning the ringer off/on.
- Hard to read LCD display. (no backlight and not enough contrast)
PROS:
- Good quality speaker system
- Works without a power outlet and during potential outages.
- Large keypad and buttons.
Good phone
- 2.4 GHz digital frequency-hopping spread spectrum signal
- Includes additional handset and remote charging cradle
- Caller ID/call waiting, 30-call memory
- 30-number internal phone directory
- Illuminated keypad, wall-mountable, handset speakerphone

Excellent phone with nice featuresthis is not it. This phone has 2 handsets and cannot add the third.
Things I like about this phone are:
o Two handsets - You can do intercom, page one phone from another, transfer calls between phones, or conference with outside line. This is the main reason I chose this phone.
o Speaker phone on handset - A key feature that's very important to me.
o Phone book synchronization - You can copy phone book entries one by one or copy all entries at once.
o Chain dialing - So you could put your calling card in one memory entry and dial numbers form other memory entries.
o Battery indicator, line-in use indicators (on base and handset)
o Nickel Metal-Hydrate battery.
o Good sound quality
o Lighted keypad for night operation
o Ring tone with nice melodies selection
Things could improve on this phone:
o Add one button speed dialing
o Louder speaker phone volume
o Add a ringer on-off button, (now you need to go through the menu to program the ringer off)
Overall this is an excellent phone that fits my need.(I don't subscibe to call display and I didn't evaluate call display related features)
Better than expected.

- Caller ID with 30-call history
- 200-name-and-number speed dialer

Excellent speakerphone, puzzling designThe 4200/4215 setup is very handy to use. A much cleaner look than my old setup with a GE wireless phone jack and Panasonic cordless phone. Now I'm down to just one AC plug and a very sleek looking base for the 4200, which matches my off white walls perfectly. The 4200 can be wall mounted in the vertical position, which looks sharp and is very handy for accessing the speakerphone and remote answering machine functions. Why Siemens did not allow the 4215 base unit to be wall mounted, I just can't figure out. At least I can wall mount the 4200 in the kitchen and listen to messages remotely.
The biggest drawback to this phone is the nonsensical cell-phone-like interface. It doesn't bother me much, but a potential buyer should check it out. For example, to raise the volume on the earpiece, you have to take the phone away from your ear, scroll through the menu, adjust the volume, then cancel out of the menu screens. I just keep it on "high" at all times, but all users might not like doing this. Another example is the 2 second delay between pressing a number button and hearing a tone. This is very confusing, as the sound delay causes me to misdial, and I don't know whether I have misdialed a number until I see the number on the LCD screen.
Overall though, it does a good job at what was most important to me: using the handset speakerphone and having a phone where I had no phone jack.
Excellent quality. You buy this one for the speaker phone!I would give 5 stars, but the response time when you push the keys is anoying sometimes.

Jog control can't be beatThere are no annoying beeps when you try to delete an entry. The jog control is a great tactile way to jump from previous to next in reviewing calls. You can select some of the numbers you've gotten calls from into a "VIP" list. With a touch of the button in the center of the jog control, you can call one of those numbers.
My only criticism is the inability of the unit to preserve your own area code selection. I live in one area code, but call a total of 3 area codes regularly... all of which are considered "local" calls that do not require a 1 or 0 to be dialed.
When setting up the unit, the dialog asks for your own number and assumes that all numbers not in your area code be preceded by a 1 by default. The "area/redial" button lets you select whether you use the 1, the area code or drop the area code entirely, but after selecting this info once, it needs to be selected again, each time you want to redial via the jog dial.
The unit should have the ability to enter a list of "local" area codes... most larger communities have multiple area codes that are considered to be local calls and the programmers should have remembered this when programming this device.
That aside, this is still one of the best caller ID units I've seen. I like the fact that it uses an AC adapter instead of relying on batteries.
The red "new call" light stays on solid and doesn't blink annoyingly... and since it's not battery operated, your unit won't be non functional from battery depletion from blinking all day long while you're away from the house.
