Cool looking phone
Great phone for the price
Excellent Value!shipped out another one. This phone has a very large
caller id display and is loaded with features. The buttons
are large and easy to read. The programming instructions
were simple to understand and the handset is very comfortable.
It's also a very sharp looking phone that can be
used as a wall model or a desk model.
If you need a corded phone, you can't go wrong with this one.

Poor voice quality, microphoneAlso, the earbud "bands" continue to pop off--very poor design. It's fairly comfortable as far as earbuds go, but it's a pretty low-quality device. Skip this and buy something better.
Comfortable, decent voice qualityAll in all, a useful headset.
Best "teardrop" design I've seen
- Integrated amplifier, hanger, and controls for optional headset
- Full-duplex conference speakerphone with 3-line operation
- Caller ID with 99-number history
- 20-number programmable speed dialing

Unreliable Seller
Flawed product from a first rate companyI purchased the 2 line version of this phone. I had two problems immediately. The light on the mute button stopped working. Also, there was this annoying intermitant hum on the line (which all others on the call could hear as well). I called their customer service and they were very helpful. They apologized for the problem. They told me that the hum was a design flaw and that new models shouldn't experience the problem. I asked them to send me a new version of the phone so that I wouldn't have this problem going forward. They gave me a return materials number.
I received a replacement phone in the mail within a week and found that phone to have the same problem with a hum. I am very disappointed that they don't stand behind their product. If there is a design flaw then they should replace the product or refund the purchase price.
Great full featured speakerphone.

The phone is a lemon, and Uniden doesn't stand behind itSo, I sent the phone back to Amazon, and replaced it with another of the same model, thinking I had just gotten a bad set. Wouldn't you know it, the second 5260 I got had exactly the same problem. So I am going to return this one for a different model - and not a Uniden.
By the way: before returning the first phone to Amazon, I called Uniden to see if they could help me. Had one of the very worst customer service experiences EVER! The service rep told me she had heard about the recharging problem from a number of customers, but had no solution for me - except to tell me that I had better do something or my phone would stop working. That piece of advice not being very helpful, I asked for a supervisor. The supervisor said that Uniden would replace the malfunctioning phone with a new one for a fee of $12.99. It didn't matter that the phone was only 3 weeks old. As disappointing as it is to get a malfunctioning product, it is all the more frustrating when the manufacturer refuses to stand behind it.
Finally, a decent phone...
Finaly a cordless phone that looks as great as it works!

Pathetic digital camera; decent webcam. It works decently as a webcam though - the saving grace is the bundled software which lets you do neat stuff like motion detection, etc. But all in all, not worth the megabucks for just a glorified webcam.
Good as a webcam. Horrible as a digital cameraMy main use for this camera is mostly as a webcam.
The quality is really good if used as a webcam.
If using it as a digital camera, the quality is horrible. Using excessive light might do it some justice. Batteries last a long time with this camera as well.
Loving it!First, the cons:
The installation was a hassle for me because, for some reason, the software CD that comes with it didn't download. This problem was fixed by just going to Logitech's main site and downloading it from there. I have Windows XP Home Ed.
Pictures aren't always centered (within crop marks), especially upclose. I've tried to take a very upclose picture of a rose and ended up with the side petals and stem. The camera was held VERY still and for about 10 seconds to make sure it came out right. Never did. Not-so-upclose pictures are no problem.
The cover to the batteries compartment seems very flimsy, since it's plastic and already showing some slight wear around the edges.
Putting batteries in, because the signs are on the cover/latch and you gotta be somewhat coordinated.
Flash is VERY overexposed. Not reasonable to use even in dimest of conditions, because it washes everything out. It works better without flash. If you ABSOLUTELY need to use flash, use the automatic flash.
The webcam needs plenty of light to show proper color.
The waiting time while taking Flash pictures. It lasts about 10 seconds, varies, and makes taking spontaneous pictures impossible.
THE PROs:
Picture quality is superb for the amount of money I paided.
I don't know why so many people complain about batteries but I'm still using the ones I recieved with the camera! I try to conserve them by putting them in ONLY when I need to take pictures and taking them out when I'm done. I've already taken 100+ pictures. This camera saves the pictures without the need for batteries to be in use.
I've thrown this in my bookbag, with about 20 pounds worth of stuff and it's survived without a scratch!
It's just fun! The software includes a "survelliance feature" that turns the camera on when it detects motion. I'm thinking of trying it out one day on my brothers.
With all that being said, I would recommend this camera to anyone that just wants to have fun with photography and get beautiful results!

Nice, but lack of 'Mute' button is serious flaw.I particularly like the flashing light/button that announces whether our phone-company supplied voice-mail has any new messages and can dial directly in to pick up our messages.
I find the display is hard to read - it really does need a back-light, and I need to have fairly strong office lighting on in order to read it.
However, the most significant day-to-day problem is that (as the technical-details link shows) the speaker-phone does not have a Mute feature.
This makes using the speaker phone problematic.
Most of the speaker-phone scenarios that I run into require an easily accessed mute function.
Finally, there are 8 levels of speaker-phone volume, but the 4 highest levels are too way too loud - the entire plastic housing buzzes and vibrates with the dial-tone.
If only Panasonic had made the lowest volume setting into 'Mute' they wouldn't have needed to add an additional button and they could have done away with the (useless) highest volume setting.
If I was going to do it again, I'd buy a different desk/speaker phone.
Superior sound quality, great for headset, but no mute?!It really shines with it's headset capability (such a beautiful thing when you work at a keyboard for a living). Also, there's no need for an external amplifier, like some phones. (Although I do work in a quiet home office, so a loud environment would probably require the amp... I often have the volume at max, which works fine for me.)
Using it to store numbers, review caller ID calls, redials, etc. is a little tricky, but no worse than any other business phone.
It handles 2 lines well, with all the business features you'd expect. For example, it has a voice mail light that indicates when your voice mail (purchased from your local phone company) has new messages. You can program that button to automatically dial your voice mail, and even type in your password (adding some "pause" spacers after your voice mail access number). It's really convenient to press one button, then pick up the line (or hit speakerphone) and get your messages.
My biggest complain (and it cost a star!) is that there's no mute button. There is a "hold" button, but this also cuts your audio so you can't listen, so I never use it. The problem has made some conference calls a little awkward, especially when my wife is yelling for me from across the house. :-(
If I ever get the time I may try taking apart the phone to add a toggle switch to cut out the microphone when on speaker... but obviously that's not a fun project, or something Panasonic should expect of a consumer.
In case you didn't realize, this phone has to be plugged into an electrical outlet too (with a usual clumbsy AC adapter). Luckily the phone remembers all settings and phone numbers if you lose power, and it still works as a plain phone while power is out. No batteries.

1- Caller ID
2- 10 one touch memories
3- Call back button
(there is why the 3 stars)
BUT, the speaker phone is not really good, if you are alone, in complete silence, you will hear it, but if you're in your home or office with "some" noise, pick up the hand set, you will be screaming "what?? what did you say? Sorry, come again?...". Also, you cannot set the date and time, this is automatically set with the Caller ID service, so if you are using an analog line or if you don't have the CID service, the date/time function is useless. Finally, I had to change the handset cord, the one that comes with the phone is so short you will be picking up the whole phone if you are standing and your phone is on a low desk or place.
