The microphone doesn't work
The speaker on this headset works very well. Unfortunately, the only thing I ever heard through it was, "I can't hear you." The headset's microphone hardly works at all. Don't buy this headset. It simply doesn't work.

Great headset
This headset is very comfortable. The sensitivity is excellent - I had to turn down the volume on my phone when I switched from my Plantronics headset. Voices are crystal clear. People I've talked to using the headset have remarked that there is a dramatic improvement in the quality of my voice over my old headset.

Is this a joke?
To be honest, I have not purchased this cable. However, as a professional in the IT world with over 10 years of experience, I can state that Monster is simply selling snake oil here. This is an overpriced product that will not significantly help your phone connection. If you need something for business trips, but a Targus retractable cable. If you need something for the home, just go to your corner store and buy some cheap cabling.

A solution to a tangled problem
I have three of these cables in five, ten, and 25-foot lengths. They are great for travelling because they don't tangle the way standard phone cords do. The connectors at the ends have rubber hoods to make them easy to grab and to prevent the little plastic tabs from breaking off. The nice smooth jacket prevents snags.

I purchased each length in a different color so that I can tell how long each one is without uncoiling it.

Don't buy this to make your internet connection faster, though. It is unlikely to do that for you given that the length (when compared to your entire telephone line in the wall out to the junction box) is short. It *is* great for making sure that last little bit of length is high quality, though.

Overall, the best phone cord I've ever seen. Use it for travel, your computer, or your Tivos. Works well!

Don't waste your money!!!!
I know this cable is only $9.95,but it is only worth .99cents.This cable will do absolutely "Nothing" for your internet speed or connection. Yes,it will work OK,but the price is totally absurd.Just use the least expensive phone line cable you can find in your local retail store, which I am using right now and your internet connection will work just as good.

Good product if used right.
This is a nice cable, but it won't increase your net speed to much, because the fact is, the phone jacks you plug this into in your house just connect to standard phone lines anyway, if you want to get some good use out of this product you would have to re-wire your whole house with this cable instead of normal phone line. The reason is, once you leave your house, there are heavy duty phone cable outside on the telephone polls, wire these to that and you'll get like 20kbps on your 56k modem (which supposed to get only 7kbps)

This can be done a lot cheaper
Instead of purchasing the conversion kit and a spare battery(total of $80) you would be better off sticking with the AA versionand of the radio, and blowing $30 to $40 on a NiMh charger and eight batteries. This combination gives you over 30 hrs of operation on three AA size NiMh batteries vs. only 11 hrs with the Motorola kit. This way you will also have rechargable AA batteries available for flashlights, cameras, games, toys, etc...

Best battery
You can't beat the Motorola battery. Here's why: It's a 4.5v battery, whereas AA size NiMH batteries are 1.2v, providing only 3.6v total. Using NiMH AA batteries will only give you 1 or 2 bars of battery strength and run out after just a few calls. Alkaline AA are great, but you'll throw them away every 6-8 hours. The Motorola NiMH delivers the full 4.5v necessary and lasts a whole day. Definitely worth the price.

Poops out quickly
I have replaced the battery already and it works fine for a while, but then battery power doesn't last. I think phones with as large of an antena have problems, especially if you accidentally drop it.

Great Phone!
We've had this phone for about 6 months now. I absolutely love it. I did, however, take the time to read the manual and features as it offers far more than my ancient AT&T phone. My two favorite features are the caller ID display and the easy-to-use speakerphone option. Highly recommend!!

Great, but not so great
While this phone is very clear, and stays charged for quite a long time, I have had nothing but problems with it. For starters, when putting it back on the charger it does not always charge. You have to fiddle with it so it sits in the charger just right. The phone also gets very hot after sitting on the charger, and the numbers tend to stick. This is the second one we have purchased, figuring maybe the first one was just a defect.

Gets the job done perfectly
Having had two cordless phones that crackled, I bought the no-frills version of this Panasonic model. I am not a user of advanced dialling features, but so far I have found it to be clear for the whole range of my apartment -- about 50 feet max distance with thin sheetrock walls in-between. It feels solid and well-finished, and hasn't yet picked up conversations from other devices in neighboring apartments. I would recommend it for anybody who's looking for a high-quality, no-frills cordless.

Hard to Use + Poor Sound Quality
Bought this phone, charged it up and instantly noticed problems with the sound quality. Sound cut in and out frequently and it was hard to carry on a conversation. If the other end is another 2.4 system or a cell phone, the callee typically has a real hard time following the conversation. Also, this phone is hard to use which is apparently a typical problem with these new phones. I also really missed the 10 number speed dial. After fully charged I also found the handset very warm, almost too warm to handle. The keys are also very easy to accidently push which can cause problems if you are on the phone talking to someone. Yuck! Returned this one. I've experienced similar problems with other 2.4GHz phones, so this may be problematic for these new phones. I will probably go back to the less trendy but more reliable 900MHz phone line.

A good phone
This seems to be a very well-made phone. The reception is very clear. However, there is no speed-dialing. There is a directory to program up to 50 names alphabetically but you have to search the directory for the name and number then dial it. You cannot just program and assign 1 number to dial a number for you. I miss the speed dialing option, but being able to have a 50 name phone book built in is a nice feature.

Lemon or poor quality
This answering machine has been a loser for us! The buttons are arranged so that we are constantly hitting something that mutes the conversation on the other end. We've had the phone two years and it needs to be replaced asap. It constantly needs to be recharged and gives you no warning it is out of juice - just cuts off on you! It hangs on the wall and not the piece that keeps it on the base is broken so we have to rig it to get it to charge. No more Panasonic products for us! To think I used to think they produced quality.

Best mashine in class
I tried out two other 900MHz phone/answering combos before buying this one: one from Sony and another from GE.

GE was ~$60 on sale and was good value for the money, but nothing to die for.

Sony disappointed me a lot - at the same price (~$80) it had less features and the sound quality was poor. Poor both in the phone - your own voice is echoing with static in the earpiece, and in the answering machine - recordings of quiet and high pitched voices are garbled to the extent that the words are hard to understand.

Anyway, this Panasonic beats any other competitor in features, design and sound quality. My only complaints are that the answering machine buttons are too small and I would like LED display better than LCD - to attract attention to new messages.

I bought the phone at Target - same price or better than Web-stores.

This phone...
I've owned this phone for about 2 weeks now and I HATE it! I live in a high rise, and I actually had to dig out an old corded phone and plug it into the wall because I was getting so many complaints from the people I was talking to about buzzing on my phone. It gets static all the time; the buttons on the handset are poorly designed so that if I try to hold it on my shoulder I disconnect myself half the time; the caller ID re-dial doesn't work properly; and on and on....

This is a GREAT phone!
I now have voice mail, caller ID and call waiting with one of those "total solution" plans from the phone company. This phone handles all three of those services wonderfully! It has an indicator on it (even though it's not an answering machine) that you have voice mail messages, as well as a special button to push to access the voice mail system. It has a lighted caller ID display that also works with call waiting (when you're on another call, it beeps and shows the ID of the incoming call). The base also has a speaker phone, so you can stay on hold without using your hands. And the Panasonic cordless technology is the best, worth paying a little extra for.
