I ordered this phone for an elderly relative who needed a full feature phone that was easy to operate. This particular model has buttons large enough and separated enough to be perfect for the older woman who would be using it most. Also, volume control was a must, and this phone has an easy to operate set of volume up/volume down buttons. I would buy this model again, and I recommend it for anyone who needs a good quality wired phone at a reasonable price.

It was the particular combination of features that sold me on this phone. So many I looked at had some, but not all of the features I needed. Here is my list: dual keypad (so I can make a phone call when the handset is lost), digital duplex speakerphone (doesn't mute the other party when you're talking), the voicemail waiting indicator light, caller ID, and lighted keypad. The fact that I can wander half way down the street and still get phone calls doesn't hurt either.

This is one of those wonderful products that you wonder how you ever did without it. I use the light all the time at night when I'm trying to get into my house.

This is standard equipment at my place of work. Anyone who spends any time on the phone uses them and they very reliable. I just bought an additional one with the M12 amplifier for home use. It functions perfectly with most home phones. Note: It uses an RJ11 jack, that's the square clear acrylic type jack, not the pin type jack found on walkman style headphones.
This headphone can be used directly into a phone, or through an amp like the M12. The m12 has a mute, volume control and microphone volume as well. Additionally it has a passthrough function for your regular headset, so both options are still available when using tyour phone. This is NOT a wireless system.

I have seen several type speaker units, nothing compares to the polycom. The built-in speaker sound is clear and crisp when listen. There are no "pops", faded sound when both parties are speaking at the same time. Of course this is made for business conferencing, I use this unit at home for personal use aswell. Polycom produces the best quality speaker phones and accessories. I highly recommend it for any type purposes.

Polycom makes a full range of conference room phones, and the Soundstation Premier is their best phone. If your needs don't justify the price of the best, then consider the plain, old Soundstation (sans Premier). Or if you have special Voice over IP needs, then check out their seperate Soundpoint IP and Soundstation IP product lines.

Are you wondering what makes the Soundstation Premier the best? Let me explain. This system uses any where from 3 to 6 mics; 3 mics are built into the base station, and depending on your configuration you can add 2 extension mics plus a remote mic. What is special is that the unit only uses one mic at a time by sensing which mic is picking up the best sound; this avoids that hollow, echo sounds that you've heard many times before on speakerphone calls.

The system also features noise canceling circuitry, so many background noises are removed. Plus it is expandable with additional mics, a remote lapel mic, and even a remote speaker station. There are other niceities including an LCD display on the base unit, but in my opinion the reason to spend the extra dollars in this unit is the quality of sound. Simply put, it is spectacular.

There are a few different Premier models, each one uses the same basic base unit. The Premier EX is expandable with additional mics, and the Premier is not, so plan accordingly. Select the unit most appropriate for your conference room setting (their web site has very nice guidelines on it). In my experience, the base unit is adequate for most 8-12 person conference rooms, and larger rooms require the extension mics. I have never used the remote lapel mic or the remote speaker setup.

Finding a replacement battery for my cordless phone in regular stores was a nightmare. After searching the internet, I was amazed that only Amazon.com had a compatible battery, and at a reasonable price. Instead of storing a useless dead phone, I purchased the battery recommended for my model, and am pleased that the phone is functional again. Next time I need a battery for the cordless, amazon will be the first place I look.

I purchased this product fo my new cellphone from Amazon because I knew that I could find it less expensive here then at the wireless dealer. I was greatly surprised to find the unbelievable price. When this product arrived only a few days later the quality was very good and better then I thought it would be considerring the price. I have told others that have the same model phone about the great deal and quality and told them to go Amazon to purchase one.

My mom has one of these and It's very helpful. There are games on my cellphone in which I take in the car for entertainment, and when it runs out of batteries, i can depend on this recharger. It recharges fast so I can play, play away!
