Simply horrible
I have purchased a lot of high end electronics, phones, etc. This may be the worst purchase ever. After about 6 months..the LCD screen went bad, sound on the other end muted, and reception horrible. I literally after 6 months threw the phone away and replaced with Vtech and Motorola. Save your money and go with one of the other brands.

A phone that doesn't ring...
I bought this phone the other day as a replacement to a $9 corded phone that died. When I hooked it up, the speaker phone and handset got dialtone no problem. I then called the phone from my cell phone and it didn't ring. All the other phones in the house rang, but this one didn't. I then moved it to another jack, same thing. I then called again and it rang. I called again, no ring. I called about 20 times and about 1/3 of the time it rang, 1/3 of the time it rang only once, and 1/3 of the time it didn't ring at all. I brought the phone back to the place I bought it to get a new one and had the exact same problems. After messing with this phone for about 3 hours, I finally bought a $19 900Mhz phone at the local *Mart that works fine.

Worked OK for 1st 15 months..then randomly loses power
I bought this phone about 17 months ago for my work-at-home office..I wish I could plug my headset into the base unit as I sometimes forget to put handset back on re-charger cradle..and I am then forced to use speaker on conf calls.
The phone worked well for the first 15 months and only lately...
(Now that the warranty is up) has it been randomly dieing durng a call.
The base unit simply loses power and I must pull out and then re-connect the power at the back of the phone to restore operation...By then I've lost other party..
I will not buy a GE phone again...

Second call: Don't buy it here!
Because I'd received a damaged headset (see my Oct-2003 review), I've returned it since I think it is a good idea to give people a second chance. Believe or not: I've received again a second damaged headset. Sorry for this late update review, but certainly, I've just given up. Let's be optimists, I suggest this good story to Dilbert :-)

Headset doesn't charge ... a known issue. Don't buy it
I've just received it yesterday and the light for the headset goes off after 10-15 seconds. I've checked the contacts for headset were connected to the charger correctly. I've read the manual (yeah, believe or not). Unfortunately the unit will not charge. I went to Logitech website (yeah, first thing I should do before, but...) and, surprise... it is a known issue for two users. I'm wondering if they also bought it through Amazon.com. I was unable to find out if Logitech answered their questions.
DON'T BUY IT IF YOU CAN'T TEST IT BEFORE, in other words: Don't buy it here, in Amazon.com

Well made but audio could be better
The ergonomics are good and the hardware seems well made. The only complaint I have with the hardware is that the transmitter doesn't clip to my Motorola phone. The 2.5mm plug works just fine, but the transmitter dangles from the phone with no clip or anything (unless I want to use the bulky in-car mount). I think Logitech makes a special version for Nokia phones that clips on???

    As for charging...no problems!!!

The headset switches to standby after only 3-5 minutes of non-use, but is easily turned on with a single touch. You should charge the unit every night, or at least every 2-days, because the battery in the headset is short lived.

The range is excellent (about the same as an old analog cordless phone), but the sound is only okay. It is very susceptible to interference, even at close range, and there is an annoying echo between the mic and the headset speaker. The person on the other line doesn't sense this, but it is aggravating to hear your own voice .1 second delayed. Frankly, for the price of this unit I would have expected better audio. However, I like the device for the gadget-factor, and it is usable.

If you are wondering if the 2.5mm version uses a standard Bluetooth connection between the base and headset - it doesn't... That would have contributed significantly to the gadget-factor!!!!

    This is a joke, right?
You've simply got to be kidding me. Monster Cable for a telephone line? This is, quite simply, one of the more ridiculous products to come down the pike. Monster used to be a reliable brand name, and I use thier interconnects for my home theater system, but it seems like they'll put their name on any crap these days.

Caveat Emptor - you do NOT need this product.

An absurd extension of the expensive-stereo-cable phenomenon
Monster Cable is best known for its high-end stereo and video cables, with equally high-end prices. There are those who say that these expensive cables can make all the difference to a high-end audio/video system; there are others who say that they make no difference whatsoever.

But when it comes to telephone cable, there is simply no room for that sort of debate. Spending $20 for a ten-foot length of telephone cable is simply ludicrous, and Monster Cable loses a great deal of credibility in my eyes for even offering the product.

The telephone signal going to your modem has in all likelihood travelled down thousands of feet of cables, and a maze of telephone company switching equipment, before it reaches that jack in your wall. That journey has caused signal loss and distortion. Unless your current modem cable is physically damaged in some way, there is simply no way that those ten feet of modem cable will make a significant difference.

And if you're still inclined to disagree, consider this: What about the cable running through your house's walls, connecting the phone company's junction box to your wall jack? It's almost certainly not made out of any special high-tech materials; it's probably whatever brand the contractor could find on sale when he or she wired your house. And it's almost certainly much longer than your modem cable, meaning that its capability to cause distortion and signal loss is much greater. If you're not going to rip that cable out of your wall--and you wouldn't, because that would be foolish and silly--then why on Earth would you spend so much money on the last ten feet of cable that happens to stick outside the wall?

If the quality of your phone connections is bad, then you may need a better modem; or you may need to call the phone company in to inspect the lines and make any needed repairs. But replacing a working modem cable with a SuperCable simply isn't going to make a difference.

If you do need a new phone cable, then go down to your local Target or similar store, and buy a basic cable there; use the money you'll save for high-end stereo cables if you feel so inclined, since there's at least a chance that money spent there will actually have an impact.

    Good for frequent travel
Although this is a pricey cable, its construction and materials are of very high quality. The cable jacket is thick, flexible rubber and there are rubber anti-snag strain-relief boots. This is a good item to travel with since it's very supple and won't kink, in addition to being tough and able to stand the abuse of frequent travel.

THE WORST PHONE I'VE EVER OWNED
After having left my old cordless out in the rain, I (obviously) needed a new phone. I went to the local department store and bought this phone. We had problems from DAY 1! At first, I didn't realize it was related to the phone, which is why I never returned it. Like the others, I got feedback, the phone sometimes would just shut off with no apparent reason, and anytime I wanted to use my dial-up Internet connection, I had to disconnect this phone, because it would interfere with my connection. After owning this phone less than a year, I'm having to buy a new one - my last one lasted over ten years, and probably would have lasted longer if I hadn't left it out in the rain!

    Electronic feedback
I, too, am returning this phone. A few minutes into every call, this phone would start with an ear-piercing electronic feedback, even those times when I was on the extension. The toll free customer service helpline was easy to get through to, but the company could not offer any concrete help. I'd advise you not to buy this phone.

Great Phone! This phone has worked great for me!
Despite other reviews on this phone, I think this phone is a great phone. I've had this phone for quite some time and in fact I have two, and they both work perfectly. I did hear a rumor that some of these had some kind of defect but neither of mine do... as a matter of fact I'm selling one because I only need one now. Like I said... despite the other reviews this is a great phone. It saves lots of numbers, no matter how you sit it on the charger it charges (facing in or out). It works great at long ranges too, and the memory works wonderfully.

    Very disappointing
When I received this as a gift, I thought this would really be boon since I spend a great deal of time discussing business with my clients and need to be able to use my keyboard at the same time. Due to static, connection problems(to the phone itself) and uncomfortableness, within 30 days the thing had become useless.

    Poor quality
This works, but the earpiece is too big and falls out of my ear! The earpiece (speaker) cover fell off and is now missing. The part that connects to the phone doesn't stay connected. One side falls out and I can hear the person on the other end, but they can't hear me. Sometimes, I get a high-pitched squeal when I have the headset plugged in. When I remove it, the squeal goes away. I had high hopes for this because I use my phone a lot and have serious concerns about radiation exposure, but this item left me very disappointed.

It worked, it broke, its not being replaced.
This is an example of what you pay for, is what you get.

In less than a month this thing fell apart and no longer worked. I was somewhat impressed by it when I got it, because it did the job flawlessly! I suggest going for a headset though or something that wont slide out of your ear.

Battery does not last AT ALL!!!!!
It seems that everyone agrees that the battery on this phone dies after a 30 minute conversation. This happened to me even when the phone was new, and charged for two days!!!!! I kept thinking it would get better, but it never did. I feel that all of us who bought this phone was SCAMMED by Panasonic!!!There should be a recall!

Battery Sucks! Panasonic quality is questionable!
The battery doesn't last for more than 30 minutes. It discharges on its own if it is out of its base unit. I initially thought, it could be some loose contact and thus kept the phone rather than returning it. But, I was fooled. I am rather stupid to keep buying panasonic products even after seeing a similar problem with one of my Panasonic DVD players. The DVD player died exactly after one year. It seems, the model had this problem! Wow! Panasonic is able to manufacture their products such that they only last their warranty period! amazing way to loose customers.

Atleast, I would expect Panasonic to replace/refurbish such models having such inherent problems! but they don't seem to do it! Shouldn't this fall into some kind of recall?

So, the question is, should we continue to buy Panasonic products? and waste our money in this way? How can you believe them even if they are not willing to refurbish such defetive models unconditionally (i.e., without asking for receipts, etc.,).

    Truly dreadful battery
I agree with all the comments at this site. I was actually visiting this site looking for a battery for my phone, and saw all these reviews. I purchased this phone about a year ago, and now, I have to make sure that the cordless is on the charger all the time. Even that's not sufficient if my call lasts more than 30 minutes. And as another reviewer said, it would even discharge by morning if I forget to place it on the charger the night before...
I am gonna give it one more try with some other company's battery compatible with this phone. Hopefully it will work if the problem is with the battery and not with the phone.

    Terrible Beeping Noises
We bought the phone yesterday for what we thought was a good deal. Unfortunately, this phone is the noisiest phone I've ever tried. Dialing means you have to incur an annoying clicking sound, and hanging up involves a loud beep. Simply putting the phone on the base requires earplugs. Returning this sucker tomorrow.

    Can't use in Kitchen
After having three phones from Southwestern Bell and having problems with all three, I was told by their customer service reps that their phones don't work in the kitchen. That's seens funny. Where do most people have their phones. The battery doesn't stay charged, there are moments when it just cuts out for a couple seconds, and the volume is bad even when you turn it all the way up.

I want my old phone back.....
Using this phone has been a frustrating experience. I initially liked it because of the wall mount and the way it tilts back for holding the handset. After that there are no redeeming features. People on the other end always said we sounded far away or they could barely hear us. On the receiving end, we experienced a lot of background interference - hissing, echo, and word cut off. I tried two of these and got the same result. It's too late for me, but save yourself the headache (literally from all the noise). I'm going to live with the sticky keypad on my old Panasonic and put it back into service until I find something else.

    Micro-Innovations is a poor product
This camera works ok in windows 2000 but does not work at all with XP. I feel ripped off and will never buy a Micro Innovations product ever again.

product does not work with Windows XP
Another lousy camera. Does not work with XP. Read a similar review, posted by someone else for the camera IC100C by the same company.
The product box is misleading, says its compatible with XP, but the user manual inside does not include XP in the list of compatible OS. The installation software does not work with Windows XP.
The customer service is also very poor. I called 2 times, each time I was asked to leave a message. No one called me back. I returned the camera, I had bought it from Office Max. I think I will go with a Logitech product.

Looks nice, but doesn't work well.
I had the unfortunate chance to use this camera whilst staying with a friend. The quality is poor, grainy, and though it tracks well, the picture is inconsistant. The software may as well have been written by a five year old for all the good it works with XP. I liked the look, but even with all the lights turned directly in your face the picture quality is poor at best. Spend your money on something better, this product is definately a waste of hard earned cash.

    Don't even bother!!!
I purchased this phone and had no problems for a few months - aside from the fact that you have to reset the phone message everytime the power goes out. However, at one point, I went to answer my phone and got shocked! Blew out the phone completely! I figured that this phone was flawed, and took it back for an exchange - same phone, same problems. And again, I went to answer the phone and got yet another shock, and blew out the phone!! This phone has serious flaws and should not even be stocked!!!

    don't be conned by conair
let them keep their callkeeper. in a word, it "sucks." i attempted to make a call using the attached so-called phone. the person i was speaking to asked if i was in a wind tunnel and i had to instantly switch to my cordless (2.4 gz). as bad as the phone is, the fidelity of the tapeless answering machine is worse. its only virtue is its compact size, yet considering it's as functional as a giant dead battery, size counts for naught.

    Not that great
This phone was given to me as a gift. It seemed to work ok for a while. Functionality is good, even though the sound on the outgoing and incoming messages is surprisingly fuzzy for a digital machine. But after only about a month of use, the receiver has a lot of static. The person on the other end of the phone cannot hear it, but it makes it very difficult to hear anything. Also, there were a lot of complaints from the people I was talking to that they had a hard time hearing me even though I would be talking in a normal tone of voice. This was even before the static problem started. Basically the phone portion is now useless, and I'm shopping for a new phone/answering machine. So, don't think this product is all that worth it unless you don't use this phone except for the answering machine.
