The worst phone I ever owned
After using for 5 minutes, my ear becomes very uncomfortable as handset becomes hot. I wouldn't recommend it.

Poor quality, broke after three weeks
Have owned this phone for three weeks and already has problem with going dead while you are in the middle of talking with someone. Appears the battery or wiring is defective. Bottom line recommendation-stay away from this phone!

Junk!
I've been through two of these now. Both of them stopped working within a couple of months. I only bought a second one because we liked having the hands-free phone and I figured maybe I got a dud. WRONG! They're all duds, and now I'm stuck with two of them. Don't buy this product!

The unit I received was a dud.
One the second day of using the phone I started to hear buzzes and whistles on the line. Soon after that I intermittantly could not here the person to whom I was talking but they could hear me. Tried to send it back but...I could not. Guess I'm stuck with it.

Do Not Buy This Phone
I bought this phone on sale thinking I was getting a good deal. I should have looked at why there were so many still in the store. I charged it up over a weekend while waiting for the phone company to connect our line and all I get while I am trying to talk to someone is a shrill buzzing noise. No matter where I walk to in our apartment it still is a loud obnoxious buzz. Also when talking to someone syllables and words are cut off even when scanning for another channel. This is a terrible, terrible phone. I am taking it back and will pay the extra money for a better phone. DO NOT BUY--Not worth it!!

Figure out how to use this one.
I'm pretty technical (OK, I'm a geek) but after nearly a year, I'm still tring to figure out how to use this phone. Poor design. No, very, very poor design. Looks good but that's about it.

The battery won't stay charged. I bought a new one and only take the phone off the hook when talking (total talk time less that 1hr/week). Still have to switch phones during conversations.

Don't buy this! It's junk.

poor choice
I purchased 12 of these units for my office and have had constant trouble with them. The customer service help number is worthless and don't see any option except looking for another phone system. The phones intercoms don't work and the sound quality is poor due to too much background noise picked up through the mouthpiece. Placing the caller on hold and transferring to another phone sometimes locks the phone line. These phones might be fine as stand alone but don't buy for multiple phone setup which they were supposedly designed for.

Look elsewhere
I bought this phone 2 years ago and I would recommend you to look elsewhere.

The features are very slow to respond and I keep losing the date and time settings very frequently. Until now, I did not have options for other phones and I stuck to this.

Now, I will buy a 5.8GHz cordless expandable phone system. They have pretty good reviews.

No Caller ID.
After about a month of owning this phone, the display failed completely. We bought two of them, and you cannot read the caller id on either. DO not buy this.

Has one heck of an annoying buzzing sound.
This phone just can't seem to be in the same room with anything electronic. I had bought it for my bedroom and it seemed to work fine for a short while and then the buzzing sound started. I wasn't sure why at first and then I tried moving around and noticed that the buzzing sound lowered as I moved it away from any electronics. Well, that won't do for me because I want it on my night stand along with my lamp and my clock radio. I should have sent it back but I just gave it to my kid to play with. I have since bought a nice new cordless phone of another brand that works great!

    Worst buy ever
A waste of eight bucks. Looks ok, and you would think that a phone would be so ubiquitous that it would be hard to get wrong, but man, this thing is wrong. The sound is terrible, tons of background static. I get better sound on my 4-year-old cell phone. Plus, the included phone cord is way to short, pretty much meaning you can't stand up with it if it is on your desk, you must remain seated in order to keep the phone from being jerked up into the air with you. You'd be better off going to Goodwill and getting a secondhand phone from back in the day when they knew how to build one.

    Poor for Wall Mounting
Good: the sound is good and their are a couple extra options on this corded phone (sound level, ringer loud/quiet/off, tone/pulse, flash, mute, redial).

Bad: when the phone is mounted on the wall and hung up, it does not actually hang up all of the time--I have missed several important calls because it was not actually hung up. A phone is virtually useless if I can't receive calls when I need to! Also, the cord is a bit short and a longer cord costs about as much as the phone itself.

I would recommend looking into a different brand. I am definitely disappointed with my purchase and will not buy another Conair phone.

sounds like i'm talking out of a barrel
This phone was definately not worth the money.
The sound quality is very poor--sounds very tinny with an echo. Long distance phone calls are muffled, and the volume doesn't go very high. Reception is fine, but I wouldn't recommend this phone. One could probably find a phone for cheaper and of a better quality. Don't buy GE.

    Phone Blows Chucks
I've tried to use this phone as my business phone for some time. I've got a headset and I can't get enough volume out of it. If you dial a number and hit the talk button the phone will sometimes skip digits and you will get an error.

I will not be buying GE phones again.

not a good phone, terrible service by GE
I purchased the phone and had it break within 30 days. When I sent the phone back in for repair/replacement it was returned as undeliverable. When I found the GE web site for comsumer electronic it said it was under construction.

Don't buy this phone and think hard about buying a GE phone
I purchased this phone in November, it stopped working in January. I packaged up the phone and shipped it back for repair according to the instructions at my own expense. It was returned to me as undeliverable at that address. It is the cheapest two line phone now I know why, bad product and worse service.

I agree!! This clock/phone is awful! You cannot tell what time it is unless you hit a button to have it light up! What kind of clock is not lit up? The LCD display is awful on the caller ID. Even trying to move the phone around to look at a different angle does not work. I am definitely returning this item. Good idea, but very bad design.

    Bad phone, bad clock
This phone is awful! You can't see the display unless you are standing above it, so you can't see the time from bed. The phone sounds so bad that I will walk to the kitchen to answer instead of picking up in the bedroom. Sound is terrible and crackely on both the phone and the radio. Really a poorly made product.
