A/V Freak1. NetNamer/NetNamerDV - automatic naming of Disks and Titles, using a PC-Link cable (RS-232 serial) to download data from the internet. No more spending DAYS programming in your collection.
2. 400+3 Disk support in this single unit, two more units (either CD or DVD) can be linked for upto 1200+9 online disks. If you also get the Entra, a second set of three can all be linked for a total of 2400 disks...the most that I've ever seen.
3. Faroudja picture processing with DCDi, removes jaggies - even on large screen displays. A must have for those of us using front projectors.
4. Supports 7.1 DTS digital surround output. Includes 5.1 analog outputs for those without digital receivers.
5. Yes it comes with both a wireless remote and wireless keyboard, as shown in the pic.
6. DVD-Video, DVD-Audio, CD, CD-R, CD-RW w/ MP3 support for both CD-R and CD-RW.
7. Noise shaping and Digital filters so that even your music disks will sound better than in most CD players.

Very nice player, lots of extras, but...fast forward, reverse on dvd is 8x,16x,32x,48x, the same for divX. when playing divX films seeking is a bit slow(you wait app. 10seconds or so).
As for the subtitles in the divX format, they are automaticaly selected -nice, but ONLY if they are in the same folder with the film file (you don't have the honour to locate and select the file yourself), and ONLY if they are in microdvd subtitle format.
The player is firmware upgadeble, so there's chance this issue can be resolved.
My digital camera's .avi (AIPTEK 3200) or .quicktime (KODAK 3.2M) format video clips ARE NOT SUPPORTED.
That's very disappointing, since i have cd's with pics (.jpg) and video clips and i can only see the pictures.
It plays some .avi format clips but not all and i can find nowhere in the manual OR the web page EXACTLY what formats are supported.
Some pausing was observed when playing a divx 3.11 low motion film at 1015kbit/s video and 127kb/s audio, 1 in 120 films i have seen.it's annoying, but hopefully only 1 in 120!!!!
multiple content cd's are supported, very nice...
cd's with lots of pics, video, and mp3 will make you wait a lot untill the player makes up it's mind and decides to show you the screen where you select what you want to do... see, hear...
THE GENERAL IDEA IS THAT IT WORTHS THE MONEY SPENT. SOME THINGS STILL CAN BE IMPROVED, OTHERS ARE FINE JUST AS THEY ARE.
RECOMMEND ONLY IF YOU ALREADY HAVE A DIVX COLLECTION OF FILMS.
The sleeves are well padded, so your discs shouldn't get scratched. The top, bottom, and binding of the case are solid, and leave the contents well protected. I've had my case a few months and haven't had any significant wear or tear- the zipper seems to hold up well, too.
Obviously, when full of 200+ discs, the case can get pretty heavy, and isnt going to be something that you want to take on a 3 hour trip. But if you move around a lot, or are looking for some long-term storage that will cut down on the bulkiness of your DVD cases, this is a good buy. I bought mine because I was moving from the US to Europe and wanted a way to transport and store my music and movie collection without all the extra packaging- and I've been satisfied.
