Dependable, solid, large
This Case-Logic CD carrier is a good, solid storage device. It is pretty standard wallet, with space for 208 CDs or DVDs divided into 26 pages of sleeves (4 CDs each side, front and back), plus space for an additional 16 CDs inside the front cover. Although it is a tight squeeze, it is possible to fit both the CD and the booklet or liner notes into the same sleeve. The pages are held in place in a ring-binder type arrangement, so it is possible to unlock them and take individual pages out of the case, if you want to remove them for travel (or possibly to add more pages for more storage.)

The sleeves are well padded, so your discs shouldn't get scratched. The top, bottom, and binding of the case are solid, and leave the contents well protected. I've had my case a few months and haven't had any significant wear or tear- the zipper seems to hold up well, too.

Obviously, when full of 200+ discs, the case can get pretty heavy, and isnt going to be something that you want to take on a 3 hour trip. But if you move around a lot, or are looking for some long-term storage that will cut down on the bulkiness of your DVD cases, this is a good buy. I bought mine because I was moving from the US to Europe and wanted a way to transport and store my music and movie collection without all the extra packaging- and I've been satisfied.

One of the best out there for the price.
I'm very happy with this item. The picture ouality is awesome, and it also has a few sound settings like virtual surround sound. one of the features I like the most is, lets say you are watching a letter box addition movie, and of course you notice it doesent fit the screen. All you need to do is use the zoom button to make it full screen. the are a few magnification settings for the zoom feature. It will also play Mpeg 1 thru 4 video files. The portability is great too,and the 10" screen wont have your eye's squinting and going blurry like the 7" model. Other players are more money and dont have some of the features this unit has. I'm very satisfied, I think you will be too. You pay more money just for a well known name. This cyberhome item is no joke. It also plays most photo cd's or photo cd's you've burned yourself and music cd's. You can turn the built in LCD screen off at any time, and it even has a built in sreen saver that's automatic when enabled. It can also be hooked up to any Tv with RCA input and output jacks. I've even used it with my 19" PC monitor, using an RCA to VGA signal convertor. It's awesome!

Surprisingly excellent!
I wanted to buy DVD recorder for quite some time. I ran out of patience and thought of buying one. I wanted to go for Philips R80 but after reading reviews for R80 I decided to give Govideo R6740 a try since I liked all the features and specifications. I had lot of doubts about it since it just came out in the market and I did not find good reviews on other Govideo DVD recorders. I bought, came home, I opened, I liked the design, I read the manual and started to record a VHS to DVD - no problems! I did not have to call their 1-800 number! It was all easy. I could check all the recording qualities in about 3 hrs - they are all good for the purpose though I would not use 6 hrs one for my home videos. I was really surprised by performance of the product compared to reviews of Philips R80. I have been recording (test) for more than a week now without any issues - I am really happy.

Value for money
I am really not a JVC fan, and this was my first JVC product. It is a medium market level product, without most of the cutting edge technology. It is marketed as a DVD player without too many frills and it delivers just that. Plays almost any DVD rewritable format (DVD+R, DVD-R, DVD+RW, DVD-RW) and SVCD, VCD, CD and MP3 CD. I had a problem with an Imation DVD+R, it plays on my older sony dvd but refuses to be read on the JVC. User interface is clean and intuitive, with minimal setup. New disc read speed is very quick, and so is the resume; From power off to resume play is less that 3 seconds, which is impressive.

Overall, excellent product at a excellent price for a non - prgressive scan machine.

    A/V Freak
Without a doubt, the best DVD changer on the market today! Although you couldn't tell the it the too short product description available here. Here are some highlights:

    1. NetNamer/NetNamerDV - automatic naming of Disks and Titles, using a PC-Link cable (RS-232 serial) to download data from the internet. No more spending DAYS programming in your collection.
    2. 400+3 Disk support in this single unit, two more units (either CD or DVD) can be linked for upto 1200+9 online disks. If you also get the Entra, a second set of three can all be linked for a total of 2400 disks...the most that I've ever seen.
    3. Faroudja picture processing with DCDi, removes jaggies - even on large screen displays. A must have for those of us using front projectors.
    4. Supports 7.1 DTS digital surround output. Includes 5.1 analog outputs for those without digital receivers.
    5. Yes it comes with both a wireless remote and wireless keyboard, as shown in the pic.
    6. DVD-Video, DVD-Audio, CD, CD-R, CD-RW w/ MP3 support for both CD-R and CD-RW.
    7. Noise shaping and Digital filters so that even your music disks will sound better than in most CD players.
    8. Supports the Entre Entertainment Hub, for the latest in total entertainment center and computer linking and control.
    9. Component video output quaility that rivals that of HDTV.

This is the best folks. Period.

Very nice player, lots of extras, but...
I was surprised at the player's speed. It's fast enough when starting playing a dvd, or a DivX formated film.
fast forward, reverse on dvd is 8x,16x,32x,48x, the same for divX. when playing divX films seeking is a bit slow(you wait app. 10seconds or so).

As for the subtitles in the divX format, they are automaticaly selected -nice, but ONLY if they are in the same folder with the film file (you don't have the honour to locate and select the file yourself), and ONLY if they are in microdvd subtitle format.

The player is firmware upgadeble, so there's chance this issue can be resolved.

My digital camera's .avi (AIPTEK 3200) or .quicktime (KODAK 3.2M) format video clips ARE NOT SUPPORTED.
That's very disappointing, since i have cd's with pics (.jpg) and video clips and i can only see the pictures.
It plays some .avi format clips but not all and i can find nowhere in the manual OR the web page EXACTLY what formats are supported.

Some pausing was observed when playing a divx 3.11 low motion film at 1015kbit/s video and 127kb/s audio, 1 in 120 films i have seen.it's annoying, but hopefully only 1 in 120!!!!

multiple content cd's are supported, very nice...

cd's with lots of pics, video, and mp3 will make you wait a lot untill the player makes up it's mind and decides to show you the screen where you select what you want to do... see, hear...

THE GENERAL IDEA IS THAT IT WORTHS THE MONEY SPENT. SOME THINGS STILL CAN BE IMPROVED, OTHERS ARE FINE JUST AS THEY ARE.
RECOMMEND ONLY IF YOU ALREADY HAVE A DIVX COLLECTION OF FILMS.
