I like my new TV!
The Panasonic TV/DVD/VCR combo is the ideal purchase in a combination television for these reasons:

1. Good picture quality. I've seen better, but I've seen worse, and for more money.

2. Renders components obsolete. The moment I got my television home, I was able to disconnect my VCR from my digital cable converter and hook the new television directly to the converter. No need for an additional DVD or VCR component, which is nice because now there aren't so many cords lying around on the floor behind the television, a big plus if you're type-A like I am.

3. Competitive pricing. For the quality behind the brand name, this television is priced to outsell others in its category, period.

4. Short ramp-up time. The television is easy to program and the remote is extremely user-friendly. Plus the manual that accompanies the television is one of the most well-written component user's manuals I have ever read. The time span between removing the television from the box and watching the television might have been 20 minutes.

My family spent the weekend enjoying our new purchase. If you're in the market for a TV/DVD/VCR combo, then look no further. You've found it!

Great TV/DVD/VCR!!!
I owned a 13" Panasonic TV/VCR for about 8 years and loved it so when I decided to get a larger television set I looked around at different brands, but decided to go with Panasonic again since the brand is such good quality.

I love this 20" TV/DVD/VCR. It's a great size, and great quality. After this purchase, I believe my loyalty to Panasonic has increased notably. I will most likely purchase Panasonic in the future.

    Highly recommend
Highly recommend this over TV/DVD combo in a bag provided you have a way to secure in your vehicle. Extra screen size makes it worth the price.

    Great for the minivan
We purchased this system for our minivan. We opted not to pay the ridiculous amount of $$$$ for the factory installed video system. I was actually looking at the "DVD in the bag" system when I saw this product. The bag system had several mixed reviews such as the small screen, overheating, etc. I actually thought the price was wrong when I saw this system. It sold for over $$$ less than the bag system. It has a big 9 inch screen that can be viewed at an angle (you don't have to be directly in front of it to see it). It can be used with headphones or without and it is also portable and light enough to use in the house. We have it anchored with straps to keep it secured while driving. My children absolutely love it! It does only have one headphone jack. However, we purchased an adapter that turns one jack into two and purchased two cheap sets of headphones. The commercial is right - it definitely makes for a quiet ride. And one other plus...it set up in mere seconds. I highly recommend this product!

Rio HT2030 Sonic Blue Home Theater - AWSOME!!!
THis is one of the best electronic devices that I have ever purchased. Increadible ease of setup, Fabulous 5.1 surround sound. I just can't believe how well matched this system is. I have sat in $1,000 systems and not heard as good as sound dynamics and clarity. This is a BEST buy and I highly recommend it.

Value-Priced Integrated System Hits Almost All Marks
This is my first venture into home theatre and I am very pleased. Having purchased a Rio portable music player a few years ago, and being impressed with the quality of that unit, I was hopeful that this system would reflect the same quality of design and construction. So far I have found this to be absolutely true!

I bought this system to replace my own system I had cobbled together over the years. So I was able to replace my stereo receiver, cd player, vhs player, dvd player, and two sets of speakers, all in one suprisingly compact unit.

Setup was easy and fast. I appreciated the l-o-n-g cables provided by the manufacturer. Some units I have seen only came with 10 foot cables. The manual is very well written and easy to follow. Within an hour I had made all of the connections, placed the speakers, and programmed all of my cable stations (auto- search)and fm radio stations.

So far the unit has performed without a hitch. I like the variety of sound setups, including prologic, which is something not found on many lower-priced (and some high-priced) units. It even has a feature to program delays on the speakers to customize it to your exact room configuration (incredible!).

The remote control is not overly cluttered, and is well laid out. It does not however, control the power on/off for my tv set. So I have to keep that remote handy. It doesn't light up either, which would be useful at night. I replaced an Apex dvd player which had horrible search and control features. This dvd player control is much more intuitive and straightforward.

The only shortcoming for some might be the passive subwoofer. It is fine for me, but if you want really booming bass, better to get a powered subwoofer.

Overall, this is a quality unit that was well thought out by the mfgr. It has the most features and power I have seen on a unit in this price range.

    My First Home Theater System
I just recently started thinking about getting a DVD/VCR and a home theater system. Of course I turned to Amazon.com first. My favorite place to shop online. I found just what I was looking for in the price range I wanted to spend.
I have had the system for one week now and am very pleased. I am in the 'over 50 club' and just wanted quality sound when listening to CD's, DVD's and Video's. This fits the bill.
I have seen various comments about setup time and setup being a challange. I'm new to all of this but it was not difficult at all.
I especially like how you can adjust each speaker for db's and for distance. It is also very clear how you are to best arrange them physically for the best sound. It takes a while to get used to the remotes if you are not real familiar with their use, but by the end of the second day of use - I had it down pretty well.
In the price range I doubt you could find a better deal.

    Worth every penny
Just bought this system. Sound quality is great, almost comparable with Sony but a lot less expensive. When I first used the unit, I thought the sound was not as loud as I was expecting (I was expecting it to cause my whole room to vibrate), but learned from the manual that you can add 6dB more per speaker. When I did that, it was awesome, though I might not be able to always set it to maximum since I live in apartment.

I tested FM/AM Radios, DVD, VCR. All work great. The only thing I wish Zenith could have changed is the remote. It's not universal so I need to have the remote of my TV too to watch movie.

    Budget audiophile tweak
I'm an audio guy first, so I can tell you first hand, yes, this has improved the imaging and dynamics of my system. For video applications, colors are more vivid, pictures sharper, and even cable TV looks better.

This is [money] well spent. Give it a week to break in, and you'll really start to notice how much you're enjoying music and watching movies, with this hooked into yer system.

Do I actually notice a difference? No. But...
...at least somebody is catering to this market. There are so many products out there (cables, power, etc.) that are so obviously designed to make money by giving you the cheapest possible components. I purchase my Monster products with delight because at least they APPEAR to care about quality. I have never actually compared this power strip to another by watching the same video feed and cannot say for sure that it does what it says with regard to filtering AC pollution. BUT, I do know that AC pollution exists and sometimes my mobile video equipment will pick up radio signals and corrupt microphone recordings. This power strip does completely eliminate RF (radio frequency) interference, and that alone made it worth the purchase for me.

A Home Theatre Must !!!! An Entertainment Center Joy !!!!!
The "Monster CLEAN POWER circuitry (Model HTS800) has it all for your audio / video components. Including Sound & Picture.

Simple to use Monster provides you with color coded outlets with mathching tags to apply to the appropiate plugs. (This is very important in those times of removing the correct plug without disturbing the existing system setup).

These are the perks of the HTS800:

    * The power cord is 8 foot in length and has a 3 prong plug with a 30 degree offset to allow use of adjacent wall outlets. (A very convenient and wonderful feature).

    * 8 outlets to cover all your needs, 5 color coded ones to include; VCR, DVD, Cable, CD, & Audio AMP. 3 additional widely spaced outlets for TV and 2 Spares.

    * Video cable antenna (coaxiale) / DSS or DIVX surge protection filter circuit (improves cable picture by up to 30%).

    * Phone line surge protection filter.

    * A free 6 foot monster video and telephone cable.

    *Visual and audio surge alarm.

This CLEAN POWER system is a must for that Family Room with all the gadgets !!!!!!!

Your investment needs to be protected and this is the ALL IN ONE product that can do it for you. I love mine.

    Great Quality just Way Overpriced!!
These and all other brand cables from MC are all overpriced including these. I have a 20" JVC I'Art television and I have my DVD connected through component. I have used Monster Cable component cables and they put out pretty much the exact same picture as my newer PHILIPS brand component cables that I only had to pay about [$$$] or so for. The PHILIPS are also shielded and gold plated and all that good stuff. So buy these MC component cables if you dont care about price, but otherwise buy PHILIPS brand that are way cheaper and put out the same quality picture.

    top of the line product
It may sound somewhat surprising, at first glance, that a short piece of cable between your TV and DVD player can make a noticeable difference in the picture quality, but once you compare a cheap cable with a good one, you'll see that there is a difference! My DVD player came with a very cheap-looking cable with three RCA connectors on each side, and I used this cable to hook up the DVD player to the component (RGB) input of my TV before doing anything else. I dismissed this cable immediately as the picture was much noisier than I expected. A $15 S-Video cable performed better. However, I had to adjust the settings in video equalizer of my DVD player to increase color saturation, and also had to decrease sharpness of the picture to make noise unnoticeable. Finally, I bought the Monster cable (don't tell my wife about it!). This cable resulted in a perfectly sharp and clean picture without any adjustments in the CD player. Due to double-shielding of this cable, there was no sign of the noise that I saw with the S-Video cable either.

I do not know if there is a noticeable difference between this cable and a less sophisticated one that may cost half of its price. I guess, everything depends on the kind of TV and DVD player you are using. But I can say for sure that my experience convinced me that there is a tremendous difference between this high-end cable and those from the very low end.

The last thing: I do not think that it makes any sense to use such an expensive cable for a connection other than component video (Y + two color difference channels), also called "color stream" by Toshiba. If you do not have a component video input, use either S-video, or composite video (Video+2 audio connector). In the latter case (or if you need a cable to connect your VCR) a cheaper cable would do. This one is worth the money only if you do not want to settle for anything less than perfect.

    Great Cable at Good Price
Recently bought a Analog Big Screen TV. Switched from S-Video to Component cables. There is a big difference. The picture looks more film like with Component cables. Do not hesitate to upgrade. Stay away from cheap Wally World brands. You get what you pay for. The S-Video cable I used was Monster Cable M1000 sv.

    Good System
I recently purchased at circuit city, $50 less than amazon.com. I thought they were partners? The dvd player didn't work but return was no problem. The sound is very clear and the bass is strong. I have to keep the bass turned down due to apartment living. Hookup was kind of a pain. Once I discarded the directions and used logic it worked.

Remote for the dvd is a bit poor as one button acts as left, right, up, down and enter. It is easy to hit enter unintentionally.

I don't think the product description makes it clear but this is also an am/fm tuner.

Overall, I'm very satisfied and would buy it again.

Wow! Cops came to my house!
This system is great! I bought it for space reasons...great features and sound that takes up 1/3 of the space of my old bulky entertainment center. I live in a single family detached home, and was listening to the HQ**2 mix of Toni Braxton's "Hit The Freeway" one evening and was surprised to find the local cops knocking on my door. This system puts out!! The bass from the subwoofer was the problem...I turn it down now whenever I hit the Toni Braxton track. ;-) My only complaint is I now have three remotes to juggle...one for the receiver, one for the DVD/VCR combo and one for my TV. Need to shop around for a good universal remote that is compatible. Oh yea, and the LED display on the tuner is blue, and the DVD/VCR display is green...what's up with that?

    Marvelous
This system is the greatest investment I could have bought. Easy setup took a little more than one hour, got everything up and running that night. One flaw in Sony's design is some of the cords are to short. They don't reach down to the floor. There are many plugs and not enough outlets, I think they should all be able to plug into the reciever to take up only one outlet
