beautiful picture, nice and lightweight; I also got the sanus 2 way wall mount which is excellent, strong and I also highly recommend

You Won't Find Better 13" LCD
We were looking for an under-cabinet TV for a new kitchen project. We couldn't have found a better choice than Sharp's 13" Aquos.

The white model worked best with our kitchen decor (other choices are silver and black).

The Aquos is incredibly well-designed. You can set it on a surface with the default stand, or mount it to hang under a cabinet with the included mounting kit.

Installation was a little tricky. I really wanted to hide all of the wires and TV cable up under the cabinet. The under-mount includes a stylish, color-coordinated box for this purpose, but getting all of the wires inside was a bit of a challenge. I ultimately made a trip to the hardware store for longer bolts as those included were about 1/2" shorter than needed for the thickness of our counters.

With this small hurdle cleared, I was able to under-mount the Aquos, and then really began to appreciate the design. Wires and cable are completely hidden. The TV cable and electric input flows down through the inside of the swing arm to the back of the TV. The rear of the the Aquos has inputs anything you could connect to a full-sized TV. A snap-on panel reveals the inputs and hides them once you've attached whatever wires you need to connect.

With setup done, sit back and enjoy the Aquos' crisp LCD picture and clear sound. The stylish Aquos is a joy to behold, and quickly becomes the centerpiece of your kitchen.

The Aquos is not just beautiful; it's a perfect marriage of form and function. The LCD rotates 180 degrees left to right, and the swing arm folds up to stash the unit under the cabinet, thus freeing up a little extra cabinet space. I never fold it up, however. It just looks so gorgeous hanging in its normal spot. A stylish remote is included.

Even customer service is great. I had an issue that I couldn't find in the manual (I accidentally reset the audio to receive the Spanish language translation on some channels). I left an e-mail with customer service, but didn't really expect much help. To my surprise I had an e-mail within two hours that solved the problem.

Bravo, Aquos!

Great anyplace you don't have a lot of room
This is a fantastic TV! I was a little unsure whether an LCD TV would be OK in a room that gets a lot of sun, but I am most impressed by the brightness of the picture. The colors are vibrant, and the clarity of the picture is amazing. I mounted it to the wall with a Sanus VM2 wall mount, which it allows you to swing out and tilt the TV when you are watching it and push it back flat against the wall when you aren't. It looks fantastic in my kitchen and is very unobtrusive and attractive when laying flat against the wall. I am delighted with this purchase, and found the 13" was plenty big enough for viewing in the kitchen.

Best TV for the Money
I needed a flat-panel TV for my dorm room and this one works great. It is amazingly clear and has great sound. I was pleasantly surprised. It's an excellent TV.

Magnavox 15 LCD Flat Screen TV
Great compact little TV for the money. However did get it $50 cheaper in the store. Color and Clarity are wonderful for the size.Needed a small tv for a guest bedroom, but didn't want to take up space with a bulky set. This did the trick!

Excellent
I bought this TV for myself, and I am extremely pleased with it. The picture is great with cable, and even better with DVDs. I love it, however, I bought mine for $50 less at BJ's wholesale club.

Super DVD picture!!!!!!
When I used the composite video cables, I don't like the quality very much though still impressive. So I ordered the monster COMPONENT VIDEO CABLE FROM AMAZON and plugged it to watch a DVD--JET LI's HERO---WOW WOW WOW!!!!!!!!!!!! Amazing picture quality!!!! I haven't seen such a clear picture before, not even the higher resolution and more expensive LCD TVs. Totally amazing. Seriously, the TV picture is good though probably not as crytal as a tube TV but for movies, absolutely better. Everything is so easy to use. No front video or audio jacks. No panel cover. Haven't found any weaknesses so far. I think it would be a great one. I also like the Sharp Aquos B4U. I don't agree with the previous reviewer: the reviewer says the Samsung is much better than Aquos--in fact, I think they are about the same; but it is true that Aquos' speakers are a little weak and unclear. But for picture, about the same. Aquos was once my favorite.

A Surprise
I didn't expect that this Samsung LCD TV is so great. It is just a surprise. It is great looking and everything is so easy to set up and use. picture quality super, audio great, size perfect, ... I like this TV so much that I would like to recommend it to everyone who is looking for an LCD TV. It's not that expensive too, as compared with other brands. The one that I got is used. But nothing wrong so far as 2 months have passed.

Amazing great TV
Pros
Big viewable screen. Crisp picture quality, extremely nice sound quality, stylish! Light and slim. Easy to use remote. Lots of functions but easy to use.

Cons
No front jacks for video input. No component or S-Video Cables included. Dell 1700 has many cables including component video cable, s-video cable, plus many other useful accessories. But Dell's is widescreen. You know, component video cable gives the best picture quality when watching DVD or VHS. I had to spend extra $13 on amazon to get the cable.

But overall, very satisfied with it!

Great TV with 1 flaw
Overall I've been pleased with this TV, however what keeps it from getting a perfect score is the annoying "brightness problem". In my case this means that during dark scenes (in movies, video games, TV shows or whatever), dark bars are appear on the left and right side of the screen. They are faint and some people might not even notice them. But I do, and it is damn annoying. 99% of the time it isn't noticable even when looking for them specifically, its only during scenes with dark backgrounds. Apparently this is a problem with all models of Sony Wega. I had a repair man come out, but it seemed to do nothing (maybe even make it worse). After doing some research there doesn't seem to be a fix for this. Other than that 1 annoying problem the TV is great.

It only takes one word to describe this television.......
HOLYCOWTHISISTHEBESTTELEVISIONIHAVEEVEROWNED

See, I told ya!
Seriously. this thing is incredible.

Expensive, but Superior Quality
I've had this television for about 3 months now, and I'm VERY happy with the purchase, although I paid more than I wanted to for a television ... But what a television!

The sharpness and contrast of your standard cable-fed programming is noticibly improved. However, if you have digital cable, you'll see an even more dramatic improvement. The picture is clean from any angle and glare is reduced compared to that of a non-flat tube. The sound quality is impressive and, while playing a game on PS2, I actually thought some of the ambient sounds I heard were coming from upstairs.

The remote control is large, but well thought-out, buttons are easy to push/find and it's backlit. The wireless headphones are a wonderful addition, and they're really well made and comfortable with fantastic sound quality.

There are plenty of input jacks for whatever you want to hook up to this baby, and there should be, as this is currently Sony's top-of-the-line 36" model (aside from HDTV).

However, before purchasing, make sure your stand or entertainment center can hold this set, because it weighs close to 300lbs! I had to purchase the stand Sony makes for this model (and the FS17) for an additional [money]. It looks okay, but is of IKEA-type quality.

This really is a remarkable television. One factor that will make the price easier to swallow is that this will most likely be the LAST 36" you'll ever buy. In a few years when HDTV is more affordable/available, then you can upgrade. But for now, this is it!

Great Value!
Just got the set couple of days ago. 1)It DOES NOT take 2 minutes to "warm up" it is on fully bright at 15 seconds or so. I haven't seen it with an HDTV source yet but I can tell you that a "superbit" DVD looks stunning. It also looked very crisp with my XBOX hooked up. The EZ picture formatting is great for stretching the 4:3 TV signal (i like the 2nd zoom best) there are plenty of inputs on the back and the set has lots of nice features (pic in pic, pic out of pic, 3 window channel scanning)
You can view the display at almost 180 degrees and it doesn't "black out" like an LCD panel. Don't be disappointed if a standard TV signal doesn't look "stunning" I think it's just the nature of the beast. It still looks pretty good. I am anxious to switch over to "the dish" so i can get HDTV. Oh yeah, it's light (for a big set) 135 lbs. you can actually move the damn thing if you need to! Aesthetically the set is gorgeous to look at even when its turned off. My favorite thing is to put 2 large pictures side by side and watch the main channels (coming straight from the cable) and then "surf" the cable box channels and the window beside it. This can be done by piping the cable box output into a video input. I was very hesitant buying the tv sight unseen but am very pleased. BTW, you can go to the Zenith website and download the PDF manual for the set, that is very helpful. Finally saw picture in HDTV and it was STUNNING. Downside, NO DVI INPUT! DVI is apparently the newer pure digitial uncompressed connection (a little larger than an RGB jack) Newer TVs have them WHY DOESN'T THIS ONE? That's the only drawback I can think of. The HDTV picture into the RGB jack still looks fantastic.

Nice product
Got this baby a week or so ago and it's great. I almost bought the 50" Sony which I had seen at the store but a last minute search revealed some issue with the bulbs burning out so that scared me enough to choose the Zenith. I'd wanted a plasma originally, but the quality of this picture is comparable to a $6,000-$7,000 plasma of the same size. Nice.

The HD programming while limited in availability looks outstanding. I thought the brightness levels might be an issue in a bright room like I have but it's not. The TV is surprisingly slim, and not particularly heavy for a set of this size.

Great Buy!
I had alot of time to research TV's. We just built an addition
that will serve as a media/rec room. I wanted to buy a tv that we could surf the internet and play video games on without worrying about burn in. The picture quality is just as good as the Sony and Panasonic and is 2" bigger. It is very stylish. The pictures dont do it justice. You can't see the front speakers like in the pics. I could not find a picture of the matching stand anywhere online, but ordered it any way. The stand is just as stylish. It has 2 heavy glass shelves for components that are open and do not have doors. The TV only takes 15-20 secs to turn on. My kids won't let me near it. They have been playing Xbox on it non stop. The built in speakers are very good. I purchased mine for $2,499 right here on Amazon. $1000 cheaper than Bestbuy. It goes on sale periodically. I recommend waiting for such a sale. It was delivered in perfect condition.

Excellent TV- Great Space Saver-Awesome Picture
This was my first LCD TV purchase and I'm extremely impressed with the sharp and crisp picture quality. The size is perfect for a bedroom or kitchen tv. Setup is a breeze. It accommodates component, composite and s-video. It's great for hooking-up a DVD player, VCR, Game Console, etc... I have it hooked up to my Tivo and it works awesome. I'm truly happy with my Sharp TV. Highly recommend buying one !!!

Excellent TV for your Kitchen!
Excellent television! The picture is beautiful and it was a breeze to set up. From box to counter and we were watching tv in 5 minutes. We purchased this tv specifically for use in our kitchen and its perfect for that use. Highly recommended.

Super Product
Its simply marvelous. I am not an LCD fan and Actually I have been very disappointed in the technology until I watched the 13inch screens and my faith was restored. When I saw that Aquos was in the 15" I snapped it up. Its sound quality is excellent great workmanship, the picture speaks for itself. I am thrilled with the performance as my CD/DVD player worked so well. and had the Good fortune of witnessing Josh Groban on PBS
belting out some wonderful music in stereo from those powerful little speakers it was like a concert hall. I am very pleased with the Sharp Aquos and the talent I was able to receive over it. Best to Josh Groban his talent is a very rare Gift from God.
