This TV rocks. Packaged with lots of features and connectivity options and HDTV built in tuner. Picture quality is very good. No wonder Toshiba is better than Sony in Projection TV's (I own both). Wouldn't want to talk about all the features as those can be read by anyone in product features in many websites. A must buy. This Theaterwide series form Toshiba is real power packed in features. Sound quality and picture settings are very easy and crisp. The Auto TV guide one touch recording is fantastic. I was more interested in the IEEE and HDI connectivity. There is also SmartMdiaCard reader to watch pics out of the digicam. I bought indoor HDTV antenna from Jensen and it works great. Digital local channels off the air are free and you can watch HDTV prime time programs without any other cost (I am watching Fox, ABC and NBC digital ones). Sound output fascinates with 40W speakers and SRS Wow.There is another line from Toshiba known as Cinema Series. That looks little refined than this TheatreWide one but then if you plan to spend that much, you might as well buy an LCD or DLP projection TV.

My husband and I could not be happier with this TV. It was delivered on time and set-up by the delivery service. The picture is fantastic as is the sound. Highly recommend this TV if you are in the market for a large screen.

This TV is the best home theatre purchase i have ever made. The picture is sharp and beautiful. DVD's look incredible in their 16x9 widescreen format. This TV is the reason why i quit going to the theater to see movies. The settings are easy to use and set up and the picture in picture split screen is cool.
This TV is worth every penny of the price!

Many of my friends got big screen projection TVs. But I wanted quality, not quantity. Well. When my Toshiba arrived, I was not let down. The picture quality is unsurpassed. Not the largest. But no doubt, the best! No regrets. I have been watching DVD's like crazy. And with my 6 channel sound system. It's better than going to the theater... When you compare the cost of two tickets at the theater to you and the wife buying a DVD and watching it on a system like this at home. It's a no brainer. And you have a library of great movies for company. Great TV/Home theater! Especially at this price.

Picture quality is very good, no lines as seen on some rear projection televisions. Sound is clear

I have bought the Zenith C27V28 HDTV for a little bit over a month & m happy about it (for the price, the graphic qlty, the feature, ease of use). I want to give it a 4.5 star but since I couldn't then I give it a 5 stars.

I bought the Sony KV27FV300 a few weeks before. If I have to compare the 2 products, I would said: (a) the sound on the Sony is better (100%) than the Zenith (70%); (b) the picture qlty on the Zenith is 100% and Sony (70%); (c) Feature with the user in mind: Sony (60%), Zenith (100%).

The Pro:
Analysis of point (c):

First Best feature : It's a HDTV for the price of a Sony regular TV!!!!

Second Best feature: The C27F28 can control the VCR to record the show I want it to record w/ a single button. I show a show I like, I click a button, and the TV turn on the VCR to record the show. Or even better, I can view the TV Guide and decide there is a show I want to record, I click a button ... and voila the TV is taking care of it!!!!

Third Best feature: I can plug a Computer on it and use it as a monitor with either 640*480, 800*600 or 1080i resolution, while the latest is not implement yet on the Video Graphic card of most computer ... for now!

Other best feature: Zenith's list surf channel is unlimited: I can program as many favorite channels as I wish to surf. (A surf list is a list of my favorite channel I want to see quickly without typing in the number of the channel myself. Example: my favorite channels are: 3, 5, 21, 32, etc.... So when I m in surf mode, by clicking 1 button I jump from channel 3 to 5 to 21 ... etc.).

The Flashback button is good both for PIP & the main screen, i.e. if I want to go the channel I watched before the one right now, I can do for both the PIP & the main screen. Wow!!!

The color setting on the PIP is difference than the main screen. I have the cable TV guide so that I can always get the info on the program I m watching.

The time on the TV can be self ajusted by the TV Cable cie, so I don't have to worry about Summer Saving time or not.

The Con:
(i) When changing channel, it takes several second for the screen to turn on.
(ii) The PIP screen does not accept HDTV, i.e., if I want to watch a HDTV show while looking at a show taped on a VCR, I cannot do that.
(iii) The sound, analysis of point (a) vs (b): According to me, the picture is more important than the sound, since I can always plug the TV on a better sound system. Like if u listen to a DVD, use the sound system from your DVD player.
(iv) The closed caption does not display well French accent (letter 'è' cannot be displayed)!!!!
(v) Possibly the Caller ID (yes, I can plug a tel line in and see who is calling me on the TV screen!!!) is not made for other country than the US.

My Conclusion: If Zenith can fixed all the con, I would declare this will be the perfect TV for me. It well worth the money even w/ the cons.

I am a Electronics Engineer and have known and been working on Video, albeit on Computers for a while. When my current TV conked out I started shopping for a new one. I was not impressed by any TV's in the market, even Sony's until I saw this Zenith one. I could not take my eyes off it. This is the only TV I saw that did not show me the horizontal lines when I look closer.

So far I have been very pleased and would not trade this for any other TV.

I just bought this thing from Amazon and all I can say is WOW!!!!

This is probably the best purchase I have ever made. This thing is everything I ever expected and more!! It's easy to use as well - even my wife can operate it!

I have to say, everyone out there who is thinking of buying this, stop thinking. I bought it and I am extremely happy with it the moment I powered this thing on. YOU ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY CANNOT GO WRONG WITH THIS PURCHASE! I GUARANTEE IT!!!

purchased unit 6 month ago and I am happy with hd and digital picture. Analog pictures from my cable provider leaves something to be desired. I am going to get an extended warranty when the regular one runs out.

I have been waiting for the killer product that would enable me to use my pc monitor as a tv, and free up space on my desk. This flat panel monitor is it! HDTV and fantastic resolution for pc use. Games displayed with a new dimension of clarity. My 7.5 yr old daughter loves it. Also, the PIP feature is great to use while surfing the net. I don't have to argue with my daughter or wife anymore to see the news or watch the game. I can't wait to install the new dvd I bought as well. Design looks sharp as well.

Set up was very easy. Took about 5 minutes to set up for tv, and 10 for the pc. Only negatives are the slots for the plugs in the back of the unit: a little hard to get to.

Great product that I would highly recommend.
