sharp 13 in lcd
You Won't Find Better 13" LCDThe white model worked best with our kitchen decor (other choices are silver and black).
The Aquos is incredibly well-designed. You can set it on a surface with the default stand, or mount it to hang under a cabinet with the included mounting kit.
Installation was a little tricky. I really wanted to hide all of the wires and TV cable up under the cabinet. The under-mount includes a stylish, color-coordinated box for this purpose, but getting all of the wires inside was a bit of a challenge. I ultimately made a trip to the hardware store for longer bolts as those included were about 1/2" shorter than needed for the thickness of our counters.
With this small hurdle cleared, I was able to under-mount the Aquos, and then really began to appreciate the design. Wires and cable are completely hidden. The TV cable and electric input flows down through the inside of the swing arm to the back of the TV. The rear of the the Aquos has inputs anything you could connect to a full-sized TV. A snap-on panel reveals the inputs and hides them once you've attached whatever wires you need to connect.
With setup done, sit back and enjoy the Aquos' crisp LCD picture and clear sound. The stylish Aquos is a joy to behold, and quickly becomes the centerpiece of your kitchen.
The Aquos is not just beautiful; it's a perfect marriage of form and function. The LCD rotates 180 degrees left to right, and the swing arm folds up to stash the unit under the cabinet, thus freeing up a little extra cabinet space. I never fold it up, however. It just looks so gorgeous hanging in its normal spot. A stylish remote is included.
Even customer service is great. I had an issue that I couldn't find in the manual (I accidentally reset the audio to receive the Spanish language translation on some channels). I left an e-mail with customer service, but didn't really expect much help. To my surprise I had an e-mail within two hours that solved the problem.
Bravo, Aquos!

Super DVD picture!!!!!!
A Surprise
Amazing great TVBig viewable screen. Crisp picture quality, extremely nice sound quality, stylish! Light and slim. Easy to use remote. Lots of functions but easy to use.
Cons
No front jacks for video input. No component or S-Video Cables included. Dell 1700 has many cables including component video cable, s-video cable, plus many other useful accessories. But Dell's is widescreen. You know, component video cable gives the best picture quality when watching DVD or VHS. I had to spend extra $13 on amazon to get the cable.
But overall, very satisfied with it!

- 1280 x 720 pixel resolution
- 3:2 pulldown detection, aspect ratio correction, and 3D Y/C comb filter for distortion-free image rendering
- 2-tuner PIP/POP/split screen enhances viewing convenience
- Scratch-resistant screen prolongs the life of the set

Great Value! You can view the display at almost 180 degrees and it doesn't "black out" like an LCD panel. Don't be disappointed if a standard TV signal doesn't look "stunning" I think it's just the nature of the beast. It still looks pretty good. I am anxious to switch over to "the dish" so i can get HDTV. Oh yeah, it's light (for a big set) 135 lbs. you can actually move the damn thing if you need to! Aesthetically the set is gorgeous to look at even when its turned off. My favorite thing is to put 2 large pictures side by side and watch the main channels (coming straight from the cable) and then "surf" the cable box channels and the window beside it. This can be done by piping the cable box output into a video input. I was very hesitant buying the tv sight unseen but am very pleased. BTW, you can go to the Zenith website and download the PDF manual for the set, that is very helpful. Finally saw picture in HDTV and it was STUNNING. Downside, NO DVI INPUT! DVI is apparently the newer pure digitial uncompressed connection (a little larger than an RGB jack) Newer TVs have them WHY DOESN'T THIS ONE? That's the only drawback I can think of. The HDTV picture into the RGB jack still looks fantastic.
Nice productThe HD programming while limited in availability looks outstanding. I thought the brightness levels might be an issue in a bright room like I have but it's not. The TV is surprisingly slim, and not particularly heavy for a set of this size.
Great Buy!that will serve as a media/rec room. I wanted to buy a tv that we could surf the internet and play video games on without worrying about burn in. The picture quality is just as good as the Sony and Panasonic and is 2" bigger. It is very stylish. The pictures dont do it justice. You can't see the front speakers like in the pics. I could not find a picture of the matching stand anywhere online, but ordered it any way. The stand is just as stylish. It has 2 heavy glass shelves for components that are open and do not have doors. The TV only takes 15-20 secs to turn on. My kids won't let me near it. They have been playing Xbox on it non stop. The built in speakers are very good. I purchased mine for $2,499 right here on Amazon. $1000 cheaper than Bestbuy. It goes on sale periodically. I recommend waiting for such a sale. It was delivered in perfect condition.
