The last monitor you will ever need
I have had the 240T for over a year now. It is flat out the best monitor one the market today. 1920x1200 over DVI gives razor sharp text, the backlight is super bright and completely even and the colors are stunning. It has such a high pixel frequency that there is never any streaking when playing games. HDTV is awesome on it. Hook up a MyHD card with DVI and enjoy full resolution HDTV.
Everyone who comes over to my house cannot believe how nice it is (and most of my friends are computer geeks).
Trust me, 5 minutes after you pull the 240T out of the box you will forget how much you paid for it.

Awe inspiring PC and HDTV home theater combo
Until I put the Samsung 240T on my desk, I had thought I could never have a monitor that was too large. Now I'm not so sure. This monitor's physically wide enough that if I position it as close to me as I'd position other LCDs, I actually have to swivel my head to view the whole screen. And the pixel pitch (size of pixels) is wider than I was used to on my IBM A21P Thinkpad notebook (1600x1200 resolution on 15" diagonal) and on my SGI 1600SW (1600x1024 resolution on 17" diagonal). All in all, the monitor looks better viewed from a little further away than these monitors. The brightness, contrast and viewing angle on this monitor blows away anything else I've ever seen. The panel is absolutely uniformly lit and mine arrived with no dead or stuck pixels. The 1920x1200 resolution is large enough for the highest resolution HDTV (1080, which is 1920x1080 pixels).

Contrary to both Samsung's manual and Radeon's manuals, but in agreement with comments on countless mailing lists, both the Radeon 9000 and 9700 Pro models with 128MB memory were able to drive this monitor at full 1920x1200 resolution with DVI. The difference between DVI inputs and VGA inputs is night and day, with DVI being far superior in terms of sharpness. The S-video inputs are quite reasonable, and TV images look as good on this monitor as on other analog TVs, and provide a means to play VHS from from VCR without needing S-video inputs on my computer. But DVDs look much much better when played on the computer's DVD player through a decent progressive software decoder like WinDVD coupled with the graphics card's built-in rescaler. In fact, it's one of the best DVD images I've ever seen. To get the best sound, I take the computer's S/PDIF digital output directly into my AV receiver, thus bypassing my computer's sound card entirely.

All in all, this is a great monitor for home theater and one of only a handful of monitors that run 1920x1200 resolution. Others include Sony's PremierePro P232 23"; Samsung's replacement for this model, the 241MP 24", which also has component video input; and the Apple Cinema HD 23", which requires a connector dongle for DVI input and has no hardware control or S-video input. The Samsung 210T is an identical monitor feature-wise, and uses the same panel technology and same size pixels, but provides a conventional 1600x1200 aspect ratio. Note that it does not come with the speakers, but then I wanted to use my serious home theater speakers anyway.

Great LCT TV. Best I have seen!
Get the 17 Inch. It's bigger and not much more expensive! I like the 17 Much better! That's the best I've seen so far. Not kidding. You would love it. I don't like the Sharp Aquos E1U 15 inch. It's not as good as this one.

TOTALLY AMAZED BY THIS TV
I compared this TV to several other brands before I bought it. The features are nice, the picture quality is really good even with analog signal (regular cable), s-video and component inputs make this TV come ALIVE.

It fits perfectly under my cabinets in my kitchen. The remote looks basic, but has more one-touch features on it than I'll ever need. The menu is easy to follow, it even has a "plug-n-play" setup.

The casing looks sharp, the connections in the back are great and the sound is excellent. It allows you to automatically adjust the sound if you watch a lot of news channels vs. regular tv. I'm real impressed with the quality as this is my first Samsung product I've ever owned.

I look to combine this with a dvd-vcr combo unit and HDTV cable for ultimate viewing. But right now, I'm totally pleased with the reception coming from regular cable.

I'm also looking to see if I can use the TV's speakers as output from my MP3 player since it has multiple inputs in the back...something to discover later.

excellent
Im very happy with this wall mount - very functional, strong and sleek

Easy to install and works great!
I am not Ms. Mechanical. I can barely put together those bookcases you get from iKea that have complete illustrated instructions. However, I must admit that this wallmount was very easy to install and use, even for me.

The instructions were clear and this went up in a jiffy. My new LCD TV is now installed on a kitchen wall. It swings out to view while I'm cooking, and then swings back flush to the wall, out of the way, when I'm not using the TV. Because this mount also tilts as well as moving side to side, I can tilt the LCD display for varying light conditions so that it is always sharp and clear whether in bright sunlight or shadow.

I'm very pleased with this purchase and don't think I would get nearly as much pleasure out of my TV without it.

Excellent product at a good price
This TV has a very clear bright picture, which makes the image appear larger than the modest 13" screen size. Perfect for a small space like an office or dorm room. The back is very well set up, and there is a nifty cable wire included which means you don't have to bend your cable into an awkward position just to hook it up.
The sound is much better than my Sony CRT 13" flat screen, and the software that allow you to change picture and image is very user friendly.
This is a perfect TV for small spaces!

SIMPLY AWESOME
Another winner from the Sharp company. The picture really is amazing and the remote control is very easy to use. I put the unit in the Kitchen and now find myself watching more television standing up than sitting in my living room BECASUE THE PICTURE IS THAT GOOD. I am going to purchase another one and put in my garage/work area. The price is well worth it. I am thinking of getting a larger screen size to replace my main t.v...I think Sharp is a winner and so will you if you decide to buy this unit.

Great Monitor, even better TV with a Wide view.
I love this monitor it looks awsome, and has a built in TV tuner, it ships with a remote that is also very slim and sleek. On the remote you can select either a 4:3 or 16:9 screen width both in Monitor, and TV mode, as you are aware a LCD TV with the same features, if you could find one, would cost in excess of $1,000.00. I bought this unit primarily as a TV and have not been disapointed at all, the picture is crisp, clear, and bright, I use the uunit in our master beadroom as a TV, and I just bought anotherone for our game room, whihc is where we have a PC, but now the monitor can double as a TV, and a PC monitor, we can also watch DVD movies, because the PC has a DVD drive, and we can watch tem as they were meant to be watch in 16:9 Theater Wide style.

I love this TV, and I am sure you will also.

    Synatx Has A Winner
I was leery of buying any item that costs this much site unseen. But following many reviews of the smaller Syntax LCD's I jumped in and purchased it. I am extremely happy with my purchase. The tv is vivid and nearly perfect out of the box. Very well packaged too. only 1 stuck pixel and this was stuck in a dark color. I will emphasize this pixel cannot be noticed unless you were standing at two feet or less. The adjustments in the menu are extensive, allowing full control of the picture to suit your liking. The remote functions well even thou its cheap looking. I have a friend who purchased a Samsung LTN406W LCD tv and the this Syntax blows it away in picture quality. As you can hear I'm sooooo happy with this tv.
