I purchased this TV from Amazon about a month ago. Delivery and setup was flawless. The TV itself has a great display, viewable from most angles (much better than the 52" RCA I was looking at). The sound is good and should be adequate for most rooms - I have a 600 Watt Surround system, so I haven't done much with the TV audio. Great price, Great picture and tax free to boot!

This is the first big screen TV that I have seen with such a rich picture. It blows all other big screens away. Philips has definitely improved their technology in TVs. I recommed this to anyone who is waiting for a perfect big screen picture!

Picture is fantastic. I have it tied to my 1.7Ghz Compaq D500 computer, ... , running a Xtasy GeForce Ti4600, w/128DDR. Playing Return to Castle Wolfenstein leaves one breathless. One or two points of contention though. I also mated it up with Phillips home theater receiver, 5 x 150 watts. The TV however, does NOT have cinema link on it. A VERY usefull tool for tying the stereo system and TV together....Controls can be cumbersome and the P.I.P. so far ONLY works with coax hookup, NOT S-Video. Im working on that though....Watching the Sci-Fi channel/sports with coax just [is bad]. S-video is the way to go. Manufacturers MUST find a way to P.I.P. with S-video.....

So far BOTH of my nieghbors are looking into going the way I did.....

With so many choices today in television, it was really hard to make a decision. I have always been a fan of Magnavox products because of their great value and this big screen TV didn't disappoint me. The picture is terrific and it has a lot of features that most brands at this price don't have. It comes with a protective screen which I thought I would have had to buy separately. This is a must if you have small children.

This television has all the features that more expensive big screens have but costs a lot less! It comes with a protective screen which is great if you have small children! The picture is incredible and the smart sound keeps the volume at an even level. Great TV!

I own this TV, and I'd have to say that it is simply amazing. While lacking some of the whistles and bells of other projection TV's, I've never seen a tv that does a better job for it's money. The picture and sound are good. I would definitely reccommend this projection television if you are not wantng to spend a lot of money for a projection model.

This TV is one of the best. I love it! it is huge but it can fit in almost any room of your house.( I mean it isn't like your going to be sitting on the john wheeling this huge TV around.) Anyway it is very high quality and it isn't like one of those other TV's where if you're not right in front of it you can't see anything. plus the picture-in-picture is really awesome!

When I first saw this item on the web, I thought to myself that $299.99 seemed a little expensive for a "portable screen". However, the Proxima A650, 50" Table Top Screen is extremely well engineered and only weighs 7 pounds. This unit can be used anywhere there is a flat surface. It is designed to support itself once opened and is completely self contained with all braces, legs, etc. built into the screen. As you open the screen, it practically sets itself up. The quality of the screen itself is very good, which provides a clear picture and good seperation of multiple colors, such as in graphs, etc. This unit is a must have for anyone who makes presentations on the road, or even for use in your office. It is very professional and it sure beats trying to find a white, flat surface at the clients facility on which to shine your presentation. You will not be disappointed with this item. It is easily worth it's retail price and it is even a better deal if you can find a good preowned unit. The only time you will find yourself without this unit after owning it is if you no longer make any presentations. Otherwise, this is a must have for any professional concerned about their image in their clients eyes.

Well, I just got mine last weekend and could not be happier with it. I got an incredible deal @ Circuit City on a display model ($1089.00) DVD player didn't work when I tried, it said incompadible disk on 4 different discs, but they are coming to fix that. Shop around, I was going to get a non HDTV compatible TV, but found this on a whymm...

My Uncle recently bought this television and I tell you what it is the best. I go over to his house three or four times a day just to watch it. It also has the best sound quality I've ever heard in a tv. All in all I think it was a great buy. I'm even thinking about buying one myself.
