2 out of 3 ain't bad.within weeks of purchase. Fortunately the set has inputs for a new dvd player which I had to buy separately. Overall I like the set, though it is frustrating that one of it's major features was worthless--a risk you take when you buy any combo tv.
Remote control
I love it!
- Space-saving TV/VCR and FM tuner with 9 station presets and auto scan
- Front-panel speaker, audio-video inputs, earphone jack, and menu access
- V-chip parental control (defeatable feature blocks mature content from young eyes)
- VHS playback with commercial skip and index search

Panasonic PV-C1331W 13" TV/VCR Combo
Buyer BEWARE!So, I have a $200 TV/VCR that is of no use to me and Panasonic declined my request for my money back (this after three trips to the repair center and half a dozen calls to customer service). This is the first time I've really been unhappy with a purchase. And yet, Panasonic can't bring themselves to refund $200 for customer satisfaction.
Sooo....if you buy one, pray it works to your liking. If it doesn't, you may never get it resolved.
Panasonic has let me downMy fears were realized 35 days after I bought this TV/VCR. Up until the point where it refused to eject a tape or answer to any VCR commands from the remote or unit I was very impressed with the machine, which is why it received the 3 stars from me that it did. However I am very disappointed that it only took 35 days for a problem to develop when I have owned many of their products for years without incident.
I hope that this is a defective unit because I would hate to lose confidence in Panasonic as I have in Sony which only seems to concentrate on high end items, leaving its lower priced fleet an unreliable mess in mothballs.

- TV with built-in 2-head VCR and FM radio tuner
- Alarm clock, video/TV-on timer, sleep timer
- Auto clock set with 24-hour backup
- Commercial skip, program-end search
- V-chip parental control

Perfect for Bedroom, space saving, but remote [is bad]!The tv picture is fine, clear, no waviness. So far the DVD and VCR work well and the sound is good. I haven't purchased any other combo's before, so I can't compare. Still, I'm a person that tends to return things at the drop of a hat if I'm not wholly satisfied, and I'm returning this due to the pain in the rear remote and lack of 'last channel' feature, which I tend to use often.
Great ValueOne nice feature is the DVD player's ability to read JPEG files allowing you to use the unit for slide shows of your favorite digital pictures.
I'm Very Satisified With This Product
- 27-inch-diagonal PureFlat picture tube
- Built-in DVD player and 4-head VCR
- Outputs for Dolby Digital and DTS decoders
- Simulated surround sound for full cinema experience
- FM radio with 9-preset-station memory included

low sound/volume when playing dvd's
Panasonic PV-DF2700In addition, you can hear the DVD humming when it is playing.
The TV picture tube has been replaced once and is now on the fritz again. It will suddenly go black (no signal) or just loose the signal and play "snow" or just come and and out of focus. Debugging this one is tough. I do not recommand it as a TV or DVD player.
Video adjust probs
- 2-head monaural TV/VCR combination unit
- Compact 13-inch screen and cabinet optimize the set for kitchen or dormitory use
- Front AV inputs accommodate a camcorder or gaming console
- FM radio, alarm clock features
- Commercial skip lets you easily skip past commercials during playback
List price: $179.99 (that's NaN% off!)

Pretty goodIt's a good deal, and has good features. Overall, an extremely worthwhile investment. We bought this to replace an identical version of the same model which lasted us a good three years--in that time, Panasonic hasn't seen fit to change it (if it ain't broke...). This baby isn't going anywhere!
Perfect little television
The best of its kind!To top this, given its price, if you are not in a rush, you can get free shipping for it, which makes it an even better option because of its low price. One warning only: make sure you stick to the recommendation in the box. Don't turn it on the first time unless the antenna you will be using is already plugged: before anything else, it does an auto-tuning, to pick up your local channels.

- 25-inch TV with 4-head VCR
- Front and rear AV
- Niteglow remote
- Auto head cleaner
- Headphone jack

Unsatisfactory Channel Display1. Sound is mono, not stereo
2. The on-screen channel information is unreadable when the channels are changed. The digits are less than one inch in height and the white numerals are invisible on a light colored background.
3. Picture quality and stability have room for improvement.
4. Impossible to record one show and watch another (this is pretty much normal for TV/VCR sets however).
Money would be much better spent on a higher quality model. RCA designers blew it on the display readout.
Satisfactory TV/VCR ComboThe other guy who reviewed this didn't like the size of the on-screen display. I admit it is a small display and it's the most negative thing about the whole set, but it's not horrible and I can live with it.
Overall I think this is a good product for the price.
