Drains Battery if left plugged in.
I bought this on clearance at Target B&M. I hooked it up and put it in my truck for my kids to enjoy. My children (5 and 3) can use it with ease and it does not take up too much room but it will drain your battery if you do not unplug it or have it on a switched accessory port. I did not read that part of the manual so it is partially my fault but I have another TV/VHS player in my other vehicle (another brand) and I don’t have to unplug that one. Overall I think it is a bad design and I will read manuals more carefully in the future. If I would have known this I would have returned it.

going on a road trip with the kids ?
if you are going on a long trip with kids? then you need to get this...i got this just before we took 8 kids on a trip to hershey park,pa.we didnt hear a peep from those kids until we got there,a good 61/2 hours later...i love this, and i got it...on clearance..what a buy...

    Zenith 25" TV/VCR
We bought this TV for our bedroom. The picture & sound were fine. We ended up returning it because of a bothersome buzz that occurred when the volume was low. It would be fine in a noisy family room, but not in a quiet bedroom.

    Great TV/VCR combo!
We really love this TV and the VCR works very fine as well.

    2 out of 3 ain't bad.
Television works well, as well as the vcr. The Dvd player broke
within weeks of purchase. Fortunately the set has inputs for a new dvd player which I had to buy separately. Overall I like the set, though it is frustrating that one of it's major features was worthless--a risk you take when you buy any combo tv.

    Remote control
Great picture all functions. Did have problem with VCR when first used (Ate tape). Could have been due to excessive moisture. OK after one day idle. Biggest problem is practically illegable print identifying control buttons on remote. In most cases have to turn lite on to read functions due to poor contrast between case color & print.

    I love it!
My sister got hers last week and when we set it up I couldn't believe how easy it was. Mine came today and it's set to go! Couldn't be better.

    Panasonic PV-C1331W 13" TV/VCR Combo
This set is nothing but trouble. Have 2 of them. Both defective, bad quality. One inoperable. Other needs constant fideling. The antenna connection in back, both sets, is broken inside and showed up same on both sets, about same time. Will never buy Panasonic again. Very disappointed in these sets.

    Buyer BEWARE!
I bought this is late December of '01. I used it just a little until Feb of '02 when it was put into full time service as a VCR to time shift some daily programming. This is when I noticed it didn't work right. Volume for the TV was okay, but the VCR playback volume was horrible. Very low. When I turn it up to match approximate TV volume, it buzzes like crazy. Well, it's been in the shop for almost five months total since March and they think it works okay. Although they admit that when they had called Panasonic Dealer Tech support, they were told its a design flaw in thses combo sets.
So, I have a $200 TV/VCR that is of no use to me and Panasonic declined my request for my money back (this after three trips to the repair center and half a dozen calls to customer service). This is the first time I've really been unhappy with a purchase. And yet, Panasonic can't bring themselves to refund $200 for customer satisfaction.
Sooo....if you buy one, pray it works to your liking. If it doesn't, you may never get it resolved.

    Panasonic has let me down
When buying electronics such as VCR's, TV's and cordless telephones I exclusively buy Panasonic. That is because I have had a Panasonic 19" TV for about 8 years that works great, a Panasonic VCR that has worked without a problem for 6 years and a phone that worked great that I gave up a while ago to get a 900mHz, both of which are solid pieces. I recently moved into a place that I thought could use a TV/VCR combo. Now, I have always been warned to stay away from these since if one component goes haywire, you lose the other. I have always abided by this rule until I decided I could trust Panasonic with it because I have been lucky and never had a TV or VCR break before I traded in for a more advanced model.

My fears were realized 35 days after I bought this TV/VCR. Up until the point where it refused to eject a tape or answer to any VCR commands from the remote or unit I was very impressed with the machine, which is why it received the 3 stars from me that it did. However I am very disappointed that it only took 35 days for a problem to develop when I have owned many of their products for years without incident.

I hope that this is a defective unit because I would hate to lose confidence in Panasonic as I have in Sony which only seems to concentrate on high end items, leaving its lower priced fleet an unreliable mess in mothballs.

    Toshuba 27" TV
The TV arrived damaged with two big dents on the front and sides.I was told that TV's 27" or bigger are non refundable,if they arrive in a damaged state, that the only alternatives were to either re-sell it as damaged goods or take it back.I took it back, plugged it in,and there is a huge black square in the middle of the screen.
I would not recommend anyone to buy a TV on Amazon that is 27" or larger!!

    Received a "lemon"
I read the reviews on this TV/Combo before I purchased it. I am sorry to say perhaps I have received a bad one. Not even a month after I purchased this - I am having problems with the DVD getting "stuck". We are very careful with our electronics and there is no reason why this unit should be doing this. Right now - the DVD is open and will not close - this is probably the 4th time it has done this. I purchased a much cheaper Panaconic combo for my mother a year ago and it has had absolutely no problems at all. I wished I would have saved myself about $200 and purchased a Panasonic for my home as well.

    Simple and works well
This is a larger version of the 24 inch, which I bought for a vacation home. Both are truly plug and play if you have cable. I was sceptical about a 3-in-1 device, but no longer-the simplicity is welcome. Very good set for someone who is not a techie nor a home theatre type but wants good quality and simplicity of operation. Sound is better than the 24 inch, althoght I would not play string quartets on it.

Perfect for Bedroom, space saving, but remote [is bad]!
The other reviewer's complaint is all about his defective remote, and says nothing about the television/dvd/vcr. Our remote works fine, although I think they could have placed the channel and volume buttons in a better spot. Also, the buttons are almost all the same size and in near perfect rows and columns, which makes you need to look closely to see what you're pressing. Some remotes make the volume/channel changers in a diamond shape and larger than the other buttons and this is what they should have done here. A poor remote makes surfing, or watching two shows at once, a pain in the rear. This TV doesn't have a 'last channel' button, so you can flip back and forth between two channels.

The tv picture is fine, clear, no waviness. So far the DVD and VCR work well and the sound is good. I haven't purchased any other combo's before, so I can't compare. Still, I'm a person that tends to return things at the drop of a hat if I'm not wholly satisfied, and I'm returning this due to the pain in the rear remote and lack of 'last channel' feature, which I tend to use often.

    Great Value
This combo unit offers plenty of features for the price. I found it discounted for under $200. So far all is working well. It's a great space saver in a place like the bedroom and there is no clutter of cables and power cords because the unit is integrated. Sound and picture quality are good.

One nice feature is the DVD player's ability to read JPEG files allowing you to use the unit for slide shows of your favorite digital pictures.

I'm Very Satisified With This Product
I have been very satisified with this product. Mine was a refurbished unit. The picture is clear and the VCR and DVD work great. The remote is not perfect, but you can get used to it after awhile. My original remote arrived broken. I contacted Magnavox and they shipped another one overnight delivery. They didn't even make me return the broken remote. Customer service was excellent. If you're looking for a good, well priced TV/VCR/DVD combo, I would recomend this one.

    low sound/volume when playing dvd's
i bought one of these from cosco for $...and loved the overall set. however, whenever we played a dvd, we had to turn the volume up to its highest level in order to get normal sound. we called panasonic and they finally said it was a defective set and to return it,etc. the pasasonic people were less than friendly and could have cared less about the problem. we went to circut city and looked at the same set. guess what? the same problem with the sound when playing a dvd. the bottomline is that panasonic is no longer welcome in our house and we'll never buy anything from them again. they don't care about the customer or care about making anything right.

    Panasonic PV-DF2700
I bought this tv to stand alone in the bedroom. It is not hooked up to an amplifier. There is a problem with the DVD sound - you have to turn the volume WAY up when watching a DVD.
In addition, you can hear the DVD humming when it is playing.
The TV picture tube has been replaced once and is now on the fritz again. It will suddenly go black (no signal) or just loose the signal and play "snow" or just come and and out of focus. Debugging this one is tough. I do not recommand it as a TV or DVD player.

    Video adjust probs
loses brightness after a few hours, then too dark to see on screen adjust tools-- then resets every time you turn it off-remote control is ridiculous--the secret service guy carrying the "football" with the president has less steps to program a nuclear strike than a panasonic user to brighten his tv

    Pretty good
I haven't had any major problems with this TV.. it seems fine. I don't really understand the negative reviews--it's got great features at a good price, and seems to work well. Picture quality is good, as is the VCR and internal radio feature (which I actually didn't know it had, but am very happy to know about now!)... my only problem is in the menu system, a characteristic Panasonic failure.

It's a good deal, and has good features. Overall, an extremely worthwhile investment. We bought this to replace an identical version of the same model which lasted us a good three years--in that time, Panasonic hasn't seen fit to change it (if it ain't broke...). This baby isn't going anywhere!

    Perfect little television
When I bought this TV I was looking for something small for my bedroom. It's perfect. Not only did I not need to buy a VCR which I didn't have the money for but I fit in the only spot I had for it, a bookcase thats only about a foot wide. I've never had a problem with the TV or the VCR portion. I abosoultely love this little guy and I plan to take it to college with me.

    The best of its kind!
I was shopping for a while, trying to determine the ideal TV/VCR combo for our bedroom, and after much looking, I stumbled upon this model by Panasonic, which does that and more. Beside nicely and lightly (32 lbs) integrating a 13" and a 2-head VCR, the combo offers FM (8 memories for your favorite stations) and it can wake you up to TV, Radio or a VHS movie! Since it comes in two colors (white and black) you can pick the one that best suits the place where you will be enjoying it.

To top this, given its price, if you are not in a rush, you can get free shipping for it, which makes it an even better option because of its low price. One warning only: make sure you stick to the recommendation in the box. Don't turn it on the first time unless the antenna you will be using is already plugged: before anything else, it does an auto-tuning, to pick up your local channels.

    Unsatisfactory Channel Display
I bought TWO of these for Christmas gifts to Grandparents & will return both. Here's my beef:

    1. Sound is mono, not stereo

    2. The on-screen channel information is unreadable when the channels are changed. The digits are less than one inch in height and the white numerals are invisible on a light colored background.

    3. Picture quality and stability have room for improvement.

    4. Impossible to record one show and watch another (this is pretty much normal for TV/VCR sets however).

Money would be much better spent on a higher quality model. RCA designers blew it on the display readout.

    Satisfactory TV/VCR Combo
This product fits the bill if you have some space restraints and you want a good TV/VCR combo. The picture quality is fine. The sound, although not stereo, is also adequate. I really liked the remote control - it's not bulky and overloaded with a bunch of extra buttons that you would hardly never use, and it has a backlit display for the most important features.

The other guy who reviewed this didn't like the size of the on-screen display. I admit it is a small display and it's the most negative thing about the whole set, but it's not horrible and I can live with it.

Overall I think this is a good product for the price.
