Good but has some issues
Good value for the moneyAt the risk of contradicting the description -- my unit only has 1 S-video input, as far as I can tell.
The only real complaint I have is that when you use the squished "wide" mode, there are horizontal colored lines just above the viewing area (within the top black bar). If I can get past that, this seems like a great feature that I hope to make use of!

Not sure if worth the money
Traveling Movie Theater Works GreatThe unit is easy to operate and works very well. Its screen doesn't close easily and I probably would have thought this to be a defect if the installer hadn't mentioned it when he was showing me how to operate it. A 16:9 screen would be cooler, but for the car the screen size is just fine.
The only problem I've noticed is that it seems to have problems handling imperfections (scratches/fingerprints/debris) on a DVD. It sometimes gets stuck (i.e. pauses) at certain points in a movie. So far this has only happened on DVDs that have visible scratches, fingerprints or debris on them. Skipping forward a little works to get past the problem. Since these same DVDs work flawlessly in our home DVD players and any flaws in the DVDs are very minor I've thought about taking this player back for a replacement. But, since it hardly ever happens I'm okay with it.
Our kids (4 and 2) really like having this in the car. We recently took a trip across the state and when the kids weren't sleeping or coloring, they were watching movies. It was the first long trip during which we didn't hear the "are we there yet" chant from the back seat. The kids were totally content.

Watch out for Daewoo Tv'sI got the list of repair shops off of Daewoo's website and was surprised at how many local places could repair my tv. The first one I called refused to even work on Daewoo tv's. The man told me that they had been telling Daewoo for the past year to remove them off of the list but they had not. I called every one on the list and the only place I could find that would honor a Daewoo Tv was over 2 1/2 hour drive from my house.
From what the guy at the repair shop told me was that Daewoo TGv's are known for breaking shortly after purchasing. He also told me that he usually has the Tv for a month or two! The only way to contact Daewoo is by fax and usually it takes one or two weeks to hear back from them and then the part is usually back ordered.
I enjoyed the TV very much until it broke. Just remember that you get what you pay for.
Great little television!!

TV Great VCR Not
Outstanding
- Control your TV, VCR, cable box, satellite, or home theater system with your voice
- Converts spoken words into infrared remote control signals
- Recognizes 24 voice commands and performs multistep functions with 4-in-1 operation
- Personalizes voice commands for up to 4 family members
- Easy voice-prompt setup and multilingual operation
List price: $69.99 (that's NaN% off!)

Not ready for prime-time1) In many cases you find yourself yelling the voice command 2, 3 times till it recognizes it. Some words are simply impossible like "Fox". Others like "turn on", "turn off" are too similar for
it to react accordingly.
2) Once it does recognize a verbal command, it is very slow in terms of processing it (especially if you compare with the normal punching-the-button time).
3) Once I was sick of yelling at it, I decided to use it just as a normal universal remote. Then I got really sad, most of the useful buttons are tucked inside the unit. You have to slide out an auxiliary internal unit. However, the unit that is bulky to
start with, becomes too cumbersome since you end up holding a 15" remote.
On the bright side, there is one aspect that I did like a lot:
As I said, one potential great thing about it (that does not have anything to do with the voice interface) is the fact that it can learn high level commands -- macros -- which allows one to do a bunch of low level commands with a single button (like switch the TV tunner to an aux input, turn on the VCR, and start playing it). Actually, you can potentially associate this task with a voice command (assuming you can make it recognize the command).
In one word, seems to me someone rushed this unit to the market just to release it in time for the Holidays. However, it needs a bit more of engineering to make it more convenient to use.
Invoca PerfectI only learned through experimentation. These things are not in
the manual.

Worthless
GreatStrengths: Great picture(Awesome), compared to plasma tv's, not much of a difference. Sound quality is great as well, with built in 8' speakers and integrated surround sound with a subwoofer connection as well.
Weak Points: The remote control is a lil' more complicated than most but if you have a universal remote you'll be okay. It is a bit on the heavy side(about 50lbs) so wallmounting is questionable but if you have the correct brackets you should be fine.
All in All a great value, a lil' cheaper that others in it's catagory. For those who download movies off of the net, it's Ideal for PC use as well as Sat and Cable.
OUTSTANDING VALUE!!!!Hope Westinghouse brings out a DVD Player soon. Will buy one as soon as they do! No disappointments. we are very happy!

- Extremely sharp (550:1) contrast ratio for dynamic images with super black blacks
- 500 cd/m2 brightness delivers incredibly bright pictures, even in well-lit areas

List price: $19,999.95 (that's NaN% off!)

WATCH OUT FOR FRAUD!!!!!!!!!!!Think about it, There is no way in your lifetime people are going to give away a 15K Plasma for 2k.
IF the seller asks to use an ESCROW service, ditch it.
I was interesed in buying a nice new plasma for $2,100 but realized that the whole escrow website was a scam

Great Picture in a Big Set
Real good tv
The bug is still intermittent, sometimes occurring 5-6 times a day, but it never fails when a repair technician is present.
Any suggestions or information on known bugs affecting this model?
