The best 32" television for the buck. Giving all that you get in this tv makes it a easy decision come buying time. Unlike alot of other high rated tv's the controls are very easy to operate even for the electronic illiterate.

This is the third Sony Trinitron color television I have owned in the last 18 years and I have found all of their sets to be virtually trouble free. As well as providing great definition, color and serviceability, the new flat screen gives a clearer, brighter and more dynamic picture than my previous 27 inch model. If you want a clear, bright and servicable big screen television the 32 inch Sony is your best choice.

I bought this TV very recently. Awesome Surround sound!! The picture quality might not be as good as Panasonic's but the sound is just great...

I bought one about 2 months ago and am very satisfied although I paid a little more for mine. Amazon has a great price I should of waited!!

This TV weighs a ton, took three adult males to pick it up off of the floor and load it into an entertainment armoire. I have owned several Sony TVs and really thought hard about this purchase because of firmware issues that I have had with a 27" Sony. Mainly compared this model with the corresponding Panasonic Tau, absolutely hated the Tau remote and am very familiar with the Sony. Note that the remote was not the deciding criteria, but it was a consideration. I have no real complaints about this TV, the menu system is nice and the picture very good. I do not normally use the built-in speakers so really can't comment about their sound. This TV has a 16:9 enhanced mode that must be selected from the menus, I tried it once using a DVD as source input and liked the widescreen format that the DVD player provides better than the 16:9 mode. The 27" Sony that I have has an auto-volume feature, this 36" does not and I do miss it. I would purchase this unit again. Note that there is a very similar Sony model that has upgraded sound, but not consider it because the added width would not fit in the armoire.

This flat screen 36" Sony TV gets our vote for the "Best Picture Award" out of all the TV'S we have looked at during the last month. We had a chance to compare with over a dozen other makes and models in the 32" and 36" class at our local Sears Store. These included several top name brands. All had the same feed and were tuned to the same channel. The 32" and 36" Sony Triniton's outshined by far all of the other competition in picture sharpness and clarity.! It's a very nice looking TV and the stereo sound quality is excellent also.

This Tv has nice pictures. The PIP is great. However, it would have been nice to have a TV guide channel control on the TV. The remote has its problems. When you use the cable function and you are trying to change channels, it skips 2 channels. Overall, the TV is good for its price

The only reason I bought this TV was due to the fact that "Best Buy" was having a price match with a local store and the price for the KV-27S66 was actually cheaper than the price of the less featured KV-27S46. But now that I have the KV27S66, I can't believe that I was even considering the KV-27S46. The 2-tuner picture-in-picture (PIP) is well worth the money. This feature allows the user to preview a channel without using a VCR as the second tuner. I would, however, like to see this television equiped with front A/V inputs but the pros far exceed the cons on this Sony.

This is a great T.V., I got it for my daughter and she loves it! I highly recomemend it!

I used it in my car with a special power adapter and it worked perfectly well. I defenitely recommend it.

Went together in a snap. The pick-up-at-Circuit-City thing was cool... just showed up and everything was ready, no talking to sleazy salesmen. I'll do that again.

I did all my homework and read the online reviews, Consumer Reports, etc. and decided I was going to buy to buy the pure flat screen Toshiba this size. All the info. I found raved about Toshiba TV's saying they were Sony quality without the Sony price. When I went to my local retailer, the picture quality between this set (32A42) and the pure flat (32AF42) wasn't that different, so I decided why spend the extra $ for a flat screen. I have no regrets at all because it has a great picture, awesome sound (simulated surround), and using the component video inputs, the best DVD picture I've seen on any TV. While I originally had to talk my wife into buying this TV, she's now the one that says how much she enjoys it. What a step up from our old 27-incher!

I'm a fanatic when it comes to the picture quality of TV sets and I've found that Sony and Toshiba TVs consistently rank at the top in picture quality, but Toshiba's are always more reasonably priced. This Toshiba is no exception. Its picture is incredibly clean and sharp, better than many high definition TVs I've seen. Yes, its picture is "only" 32" in an era where picture sizes of 50" and more are available. But 32" is a very impressive picture size and allows for a reasonable price. Most TVs with super-size screens are significantly more expensive and do not have as good picture quality as this Toshiba. If you want a larger than 27" TV with great picture quality at a very reasonable price, you can't beat this Toshiba.

Toshiba makes quality TVs, still own 20-inch that is about eight years old, never experienced a problem. Nice picture, even facing sun. I considered buying flat screen for this reason but I am glad I made a decision to wait a while on paying for a more expensive set. I do have to adjust the antenna when changing channels, but it's worth it to receive the quality picture (hopeful that once the satellite is hooked up, this won't be a problem), currently just a little grainy. Happy though.

I have always been impressed by Toshiba's televisions, and this one is no exception. I purchased this TV last week, and I am thoroughly satisfied with my purchase. The picture looks great (especially DVDs through the component video inputs), the sound is way above average for a TV in this range, and the features are equal to what you'd find on pricier brands. Basically, Toshiba gives you the quality you want but without the huge pricetag. One thing made me sad though: only one set of Component Video inputs. So if you want that high quality Xbox experience in addition to DVDs, you'll have to switch it through your receiver (which is what I do). Anyway, great TV and great price.

I was hooked on buying a Sony Wega. I started putting together payment plans, looking for 0% interest credit cards. Then I got my hands on a Consumer Reports that featured big TVs. It showed the Toshiba in the list and I decided to check it out. The Best feature are the Picture Tube and the rear inputs. This TV can handle multiple components along with multiple cable/satellite feeds. And when I realized that it was under a $1000, I was sold! Enjoy!

This TV does it all. I have a DVD player(toshiba also), VCR, and digital cable. They all hooked up easily and seperatly from each other. This TV comes with 2 r/f hookups, basically that means you can hook-up your satalite or digital cable box to one r/f and your normal cable or antanae to the other r/f. With the dual video hook ups I am able to run my VCR under video 1, and my DVD player under video 2. It also has the component video output for DVD's which makes the picture much clearer that the S-video output. With all my components seperated it makes the sound clearer and the picture quality much better. The Dual tuner PiP is easy to use, and it also has a feature of channel scan. On the bottom of your TV it will scan through all your channels (and showing you the picture of each channel) so you can see what else is on TV while coninuing to watch your regular show. VERY COOL Feature!! The sound on the set is clear and in surround mode, and the picture rivals the Sony Wega. The only draw back of this tv is the weight (180 pounds), and the remote control (it bites). I have a 6 year old 27 inch toshiba(which is still a very good set) and the remote is basically the same. I have since purchased a radio shack 6-in-1 remote(model 1994) for all of my electronics components. Overall an excellent TV at the right price (850.00 at Best Buy)

Very nice picture. One of the best I have seen on a big screen. Viewing angle is good, unlike some of the other projection TV's out there. The only complaint I have, and it is a very minor one, is that you have to be using HD1 or HD2 (COLORSTREAM) hooked up to a device that has component video (RGB) to use the Zoom, Letterbox, etc features. You cannot ZOOM, for example, on satellite or cable reception to get rid of those annoying black bars when they are being broadcast. In the literature it isn't all that clear, or I didn't read well enough. If I would have know that, I might have opted for the wide screen model for a few hundred dollars more. All in all it is a great TV. Perfect size for any living room. I give it 5 out of 5 stars and highly recommend it to others.

I was torn between a 50" Sony TV and this Toshiba until I saw them side by side in the store.. The Toshiba has a far clearer picture. I also have a Toshiba DVD player (2 years old) and the picture is perfect. The salesman in the store said that a lot of people think the Toshibas have a better picture than anyone else.
