I just bought the jvc 27" and so far I'm pretty happy with the picture and the way the remote works. I have it hooked up to my toshiba dvd player and they work well together. The 3 line digital comb works great and the component imputs were compatable with each other. You have to hit a couple of buttons to get everything turned on but once on its set. I don't know how the speakers are because I have a surround sound system hooked up, sorry. I gave 5 stars and have no real complaints.

Great picture, (700 lines of resolution), component input has my DVD movies looking great. I had a 25" TV and just couldn't wait any longer for the digital/HDTV stuff to shake out. Figured an economical 32" set would keep me happy for awhile and at the same time, whenever the digital stuff shakes out and the prices come down, I could justify upgrading with the cost of the JVC only ...

After shopping around the JVC hit the spot; price , good picture and component input.

For the price, it can't be beat. I've been looking for quite sometime for a good HDTV that is affordable. I met almost all of my requirements with this TV. It has the usual good stuff as compared to the other TV's of similar size. I compared this set to the Panasonic 36HL43 and the Sony 34 XBR which were displayed next to each other. The Sony was out of my pricing category (way overpriced for what one gets in my opinion). The Panasonic seemed to match head - to - head in style and picture quality. I picked the JVC because it had more inputs (three rear inputs plus DVI) and was $$$$ cheaper. After having the TV for three weeks and almost returning it for a Plasma, I've decided to keep it, as its the best all around deal that I found. HDTV and progressive Scan DVD pictures are incredible (however, all models at this price better be). my only complaints are as follows:

1) PIP does not have side-by-side (though it does have dual-tuner)
2) The speaker system is adequate. However, in HDTV mode, the volume needs to be increased to the upper third setting. I am going to have to upgrade with a speaker system so this is not a big deal
3) The pre-set colors don't work well in non-HDTV. The TV comes pre-set with real heavy reds.
4) Not a lot in the way of reviews for this TV. I took a chance on this TV based on prior good experiences with JVC.
5) Regular Cable is a drag after watching HDTV. It's more of a fault with Cox, as even though their boxes have the capability for DVI hook up (same as the TV) Cox doesn't support it yet. I'm hoping regular TV picture clarity will greatly improve.

From the moment we unpacked this beuty from the box we have been in awe. Starting from the sleek, silver finish to the performance we have been more than satisfied. It has numerous inputs mostly on the back of the set but it has some on the front for easy access. As big as it is, it is also surprisingly easy to move around your living room and can be moved to the spot you want it with only 2 capaple adults. I dont think we have used an input device yet that fully utilizes the performance of this TV. I really love the different picture settings you can select, including the "Game" setting. Ive been in Video game heaven since buying this TV. Dont forget the Popcorn!

I purchased this as a gift for my folks. The white color matched the stand my dad had built and it blends in perfectly! But one doesn't purchase a TV for it's exterior looks. The picture quality is top of the line (IMO) and it's size is perfect for adding a small TV to almost any room of the house. While JVC products tend to cost more, they tend to last longer and perform better making it worth the cost.

We have owned this for 1 1/2 years. Picture is excellent and so is the sound. Two small criticisms - you have to press 0 before single digit channel #'s to change channels and the power button on the TV itself sometimes get stuck. Other wise we love it.And the white is nice in the kitchen or porch. Absolutely no problems.

It's the quality you would expect from JVC. The picture is clear , the sound is good, and the 4 head VCR records and replays tapes great. I've gone through 4 13" TV's in the last 5 years, so I'm hoping that this one will last longer than my prior ones. I wouldn't buy another Emerson which started eating tapes or Sharp which had the sound go out on it. We also have an Orion AC/DC 13" TV/VCR which is still working fine, but is not quite the quality of this unit.

It's a exciting fresh force in the US electronic landscape. But because of its novelty, and lack of promotion, not much American people know it. But trust me, they sell tens of millions of TV sets(and other electronics) in China every year, they are famous and big, and they can be trusted.

A STEREO T.v. with a 20 inch screen. We bought two. Everything is recorded in STEREO so you should listen to it at its intended to be. STEREO.

In the late evening the STEREO part of the T.v. allows you to have the sound on very low and still hear the audio very clearly.
It also allows for the hard of hearing to hear the full range of sounds anywhere in the room.

It is a great T.v. for a childs room.

Crisp clear audio and video.

Forget HDTV this is where you should start!
