A great 19" Television. I purschased one for my sons room and he loves it. In the front their is 1 set of av ports (red, yellow and white connectors). This television has great quality! In the back their is a coaxial port for connecting cable,satelite,attena or an VCR. Good remote and nice built in parental controls. Overall an excellent value coompared to others in this class. Only downside is their is no S-Video on the television, a mistake in my opinion because that is where home theater is going. But not many are interested in hooking up a DVD player to a television of such size and if you are you can always use the AV ports in the front. The AV ports are conviently located in the front for easy switching between game systems, DVD player. 1 other small negitive if you wish to use audio out to connect to a audio system this television does not have audio out.

TV is a very flexible system. The remote has 4 sets of bookmarks one for each individual so you can save your favorite channel. One button takes you to YOUR prescribe channels. The picture and sound is very good. They come in modes each with 3 factory modes and one personal mode. Connectors for S-Video and AV jacks input and outputs. Includes front AV jacks for cameras and headphone jacks. Most functions are menu driven for sound, picture, clock. The timer can be set to always turn on/off at certain times each day without further action from the owner. Has a child safe autolock to prevent kids from viewing certain programs and its password protected with a pin number. Close caption in 3 modes. I use it in mute mode - so when the sounds off the close caption kicks in; goes away when I take it off mute. The sound is very good too. It has a insurround sound setting and appears to have 4 speakers 2 tweeters and 2 midrange. It's not a flat or plasma screen but I'm very happy with this set until I get HDTV. :-)

I bought this three weeks ago, primarily to watch DVD's, but also just to experience HDTV from our local Comcast service. Philips does a fantastic job with high definition signals.

I am having buyer's remorse, though. I spoke this morning with Philips to ask the cost of their extended warranty. I was quoted a price of almost $220 a year! As no one really knows how long an LCD TV will actually last, an extended warranty seems like an essential part of the purchase decision, and Philips has just set me back on my heels. I may return the set to the store I purchased it from (Bose) if they can't find a way to get the extended warranty cost down for me.

Terrific picture! Great Price! I upgraded from a 25" to this 32" and it has a remarkable picture. The menu system is easier to use than the older Philips' TVs and I really like the remote control that comes with the television. I would recommend this TV for anyone who wants a great picture at a good value.

I spent a significant amount of time researching TVs and found this unit attractive on paper but was hesitant to buy on-line without actually seeing it "live" , so to speak. Having had great success in the past with other Philips product I thought I would take a chance and am glad that I did. The price for this is great and it delivers all the quality you would expect. I would recommend this unit to anyone and everyone...and I haven't even been able to take advantage of the high-def as I have to wait until my local cable company finishes wiring my neighborhood for digital cable.... Great TV!

I purchased this TV from Amazon about a month ago. Delivery and setup was flawless. The TV itself has a great display, viewable from most angles (much better than the 52" RCA I was looking at). The sound is good and should be adequate for most rooms - I have a 600 Watt Surround system, so I haven't done much with the TV audio. Great price, Great picture and tax free to boot!

This is the first big screen TV that I have seen with such a rich picture. It blows all other big screens away. Philips has definitely improved their technology in TVs. I recommed this to anyone who is waiting for a perfect big screen picture!

Picture is fantastic. I have it tied to my 1.7Ghz Compaq D500 computer, ... , running a Xtasy GeForce Ti4600, w/128DDR. Playing Return to Castle Wolfenstein leaves one breathless. One or two points of contention though. I also mated it up with Phillips home theater receiver, 5 x 150 watts. The TV however, does NOT have cinema link on it. A VERY usefull tool for tying the stereo system and TV together....Controls can be cumbersome and the P.I.P. so far ONLY works with coax hookup, NOT S-Video. Im working on that though....Watching the Sci-Fi channel/sports with coax just [is bad]. S-video is the way to go. Manufacturers MUST find a way to P.I.P. with S-video.....

So far BOTH of my nieghbors are looking into going the way I did.....

This has been a great TV for our small apartment. The picture is small but clear, and the colors are perfect on the screen. The light weight makes it ideal for an older person. The video works perfectly. Our only problem is that I need to find the code in order to program my replacement remote control, but it is not in the instruction manual and I don't see where to find it on your internet site. Thank you
