Go with the Sony KV-20FV12 20" FD Trinitron WEGA TV for $50 more. It has a 3-D comb filter for sharper picture and it comes with better speakers. It's worth the money. I own one and checked out these features. It is sharper. That's a fact. It sounds better. That's a fact. WEGA is the name for Sony's flat screen. That gives you a sharper picture. The upgrade in the comb filter makes the difference.

This is a good set from SONY. It has a Digital comb filter that increases picture resolution and reduces noticeable dot-crawl, which is visible on less expensive 27inch brands. It has Rear audio and composite video inputs as well as an S-video input for DVD, Laser Disc players and Super-VHS recorders for higher picture resolution. It also has XDS, which has become a standard feature of late on better TVs. XDS receives information that some broadcasters are sending with their signals. It also comes standard with Clock, Sleep Timer, Channel Jump, Remote and V-chip. I just saw this set this weekend with a satellite signal and DVD demo. It looked very good.

I have to say, this is indeed the best tv I've ever owned (or watched for that matter.) The primary feature that seperates it from all the other tvs out there is that it has a perfectly FLAT screen. Don't get me wrong, this isn't a plasma tv. However, is is FLAT. The speakers on the bottom don't give you a great sound, but don't give you a bad sound either. It isn't worth to spend ($) upgrading to the side speakers, especially if your going to have a surround-sound system. Plenty if AV imports mean you can plug as many things in as you want, plus a front AV jack for quick-swapping things. It also has a rear S-video import. Trust me, if you like to watch tv with a good picture then get this one. I'll give you a week before your other tv goes in the trash:)

From the way it was packed in the box, to the sound and picture quality, this TV is terrific. The picture is clear, the colors vivid. The remote could be better designed, and I would have like to see the buttons illuminated. Overall, I'm pleased.

I bought this TV a year ago and I love it and would get it today if I could. Picture is as good as plasma if not better. It is a 4:3 ratio, but you should just ask yourself what you watch more of TV or Movies. Right now the HD media that is coming out is getting to be everywhere. 5 NFL games on Sunday. 4-5 Xbox games in HD. HBO in HD, ESPN in HD, Discovery in HD, Prime time TV for the most part in HD. The picture has so much color and detail it is like night and day. Like putting black and white up against color and this TV is a great product to showcase that. Only knock on it is it ways 300 lbs so the stand (which has bevel edges) is recommended on carpet. With the stand anyone could move it anyplace in the room with ease. Great Buy!

Well in the land of T.V's one name should come to mind and that is the Sony Wega. Sony Wega gives you the quality of a digital television, yet you are paying half the price. Sony, with all the other top of the line items, gives you yet another reason to brag about. Sony, by far wins over it competitors and this Wega just makes sure they remain prisoners under the already won war. Sony knows how to treat it's customers and this Wega does no less, it does more. Don't be confused this is not a Digital T.V it just looks like one.

This television was purchased as a daily viewer and it has been great! All I added was a Sony Surround Sound System ($1200) and some digital cable and I was good to go! I recommend this television set if you don't want to spend the extra thousands to get a quality t.v.

I had purchased a SONY 36 inch WEGA television and used it with my existing television stand....but an old, cheap stand just doesn't cut it with this amazing television. So, I opted to buy the stand made specifically for the television. It's great and absolutely worth the purchase! The stand and television are seamlessly incorporated into an entertainment unit that shows the WEGA television to it's greatest advantage. Sure I'd like more shelves, but the single shelf lends a stylish look to the stand and is in keeping with the television design. If you're interseted in purchasing a WEGA television, spend the extra money and get the stand. You'll be glad you did!

I bought this TV form Tiger ( the best rate on shipping) via Amazon.Great picture great sound. Everything included, all cables, stand and wall mount...Surprisingly good picture from TV broadcast, even better from DVD or S-video. I would strongly recommend this product, it is a perfect choice for a smaller living room and general home use in this($1600) price range.

WE purchased this item when our VCR went out. We decided instead of having a VCR and a DVD player hooked up with all the wires running to the TV just to get one unit with everything. It has been great. Great picture, DVD plays perfectly and the VCR is nice to have for all the VHS tapes we still own. Makes everything look so much cleaner in the family room. I definitely recommend this piece.
