When I ordered this television from Amazon, I was a little skeptical because I had never heard of Konka before. I was actually making jokes about it! I was pleasantly surprised. For the price, it offers a great picture and great sound. It's a good tv for a bedroom, or an office because of the size (19in). I ordered this when Amazon had a special deal, if they offer it again, I may just order another one for my daughter's room. Overall I like this tv and am glad I made this purchase.

Konka is the biggest TV manufactuer in China. China as the biggest TV market in the world is also the most competitive market with all the Japanese and domestic TV makers fighting over it. Konka made their name in China with quality and price, winning customers back from Sony and Panasonic and Toshiba and JVC, going from a tiny outfit ten years ago to one of the biggest company in China, and now they are in the US! It's a exciting fresh force in the US TV landscape. But because of its novelty, and lack of promotion, not much American people know it. But trust me, they sell tens of millions of TV sets in China every year, they are famous and big, and they can be trusted.

This cable will work great for Digital Cable Users. And Also using this on a DVD TURNS IT INTO SUPER QUALITY SUPERIOR! But its a little overpriced for itself but works clean and eficiantly. I give this 4 stars for tiny bit overpriced. These cables make the DVD Gladiator EXTREMELY BETTER!

This cable gave me huge improvement in picture quality, espcially from DVD. The connectors are of a good quality and I think that this cable is worth every cent

I recently graduated from a 14" TV to this 27" one. I wanted something that was both bigger and compatible with DVD, Video, and a home theater system.
I am very pleased with it. Especially with the DVD. The picture is so clear and lifelike it is like being there when I view my favorite Musical DVD's by Bill Gaither and His Homecoming friends.(Also sold on Amazon.com} It's great to have an TV like this that makes in-home concerts possible. I compared the price with a place a man I work with claims always has a low price. This price was far better than where he recommeded.

True, the price is slightly less at walmart BUT, when I bought it from Amazon it ended up being cheaper anyway. I had gotten a 10.00 off coupon from the Amazon mailing list. Besides that the above person forgot tax. If I was to buy the TV at walmart I would need to pay tax. I didn't have to pay tax on Amazon...so people please keep that in mind.

Now for the TV, for the price I think it is great. We have had it since Xmas, and it works fine, the picture is great. But keep in mind this is a really big TV. I had a 27 inch in my house already, but with the side speakers and everything, it ended up being bigger. All in all I think it is a great TV, and the price is good since there is no tax.

This is an excellent 13-inch tv for the price. Picture quality is superb with the included antenna. What is really nice about this tv is the extra card size remote control. It has all the functions you would ever need in such a compact design. Don't let this tv pass you buy!

I bought this tv for my hunting camp that does not have electricity. It works great with a Deep Cycle battery. The only problem is that I purchased it from a different .com store and paid more for it. Shop Amazon FIRST!!!

i seached hi and lo for tv to fit our needs for our rv,something that had to fit in a small closed in area was hard to find when looking for ac/dc.We not only found it here ,price was great,the service was #1,and the tv has a great picture quality.

I don't own this unit, but I use it day in, day out in school. I'm a films student and use this monitor for my editing. The PanaBlack system is the best for your money, Sony should wimper.

I've owned this TV for about 8 months and have had no problems with it. It is the centerpiece of the home theater system for my apartment and it performs extremely well. The picture is excellent and it has some good extras like dual a/v jacks, s-video, and fixed/variable audio out.

It is those extras that really make this TV a good value. My home theater setup includes a DVD player, VCR, A/V receiver, speakers, and a video game system and I have no problems hooking up all that equipment to run through this TV. It is important to note that if you are going to buy a TV with only 1 set of A/V inputs, if you hook up a DVD player using the S-Video input, you arent going to be able to use a VCR or video game system with your TV unless it also uses S-Video and you run it through an A/V receiver, that's why 2 sets of A/V inputs is almost a requirement for most people.

The menu system is intuitive and easy to use. The remote control simple to use, nothing fancy there. If I had any complaints about it, its that most of the buttons on the remote are similar in feel and size, I like a little variety in the size and feel of buttons on a remote so it is easier to use in the dark. This TV also comes in a different, more expensive model if you want Picture In Picture, but I think PIP is a waste of money.

I've had great experiences with Panasonic TVs, the last one I had lasted for about 12 years before it finally died. This TV has all the good features that you need at a good price.

I got this TV at Circuit City about three weeks ago. I like it a lot. The picture quality is very good, everything is nice and crisp and colorful. The sound is good also, although this TV comes with what Panasonic calls A.I. sound I turned that off as to me it seems to sound better with it off. Of course I did have a problem with this TV. The first one I got, after I got it home and set it up turned it on and after watching for a little while I noticed that the picture was not straight on the top you could see it would sloop down. So I had to pack it up and return it. I got the same one and that one seems to be better, but on the bottom I can see where the picture is not straight again. This time it is not that noticeable. I would probably say that most people would probably not even notice the sloop but I did and it bothered me. Overall it is a good TV.

I have owned this TV for over a year and it is reliable and easy to use. The connections are all labeled, the instruction manual was easy to uinderstand and the picture and sound are stunning! I have since added a DVD player and speakers to the TV and it keeps on humming.

I purchased the set (for the price way more than listed here), and I have been quite pleased with the quality of the picture for the large size monitor. Especially with DVD, you can truly enjoy movies at home. Sound is ok, yet you might want to have a surrounding system if you like to enjoy movies more. Only bad thing is the remote control. It's not a user-friendly design and, I think, it has a pretty weak signal. You have to stand (or sit) on the straight line from the set.

PANASONIC and SONY manufacture the best tube televisions. When entering into the tube TV market (20 inches and above) your best bet for uniform picture quality and consistent performance is PANASONIC and SONY. Both of these manufactures stake their reputations on this market. Both manufacturers also have a loyal following of satisfied customers who return time and again to their Televisions. I used to sell audio and video products. A returning PANASONIC customer settles for nothing but another PANASONIC television. A returning SONY customer settles for nothing but another SONY television. That's the way it was. From my point of view PANASONIC and SONY still make the best television sets utilizing a conventional picture tube. Price range aside, my criteria for choosing a set is simply how well the picture looks to me. I look for picture definition, sharpness and color consistency. Personally I found SONY to have a slight edge over PANASONIC in picture definition and sharpness. PANASONIC televisions offer great definition with a slightly softer looking image than SONY. However, I do find that PANASONIC has better control over color consistency. A color picture is made up of Red, Green and Blue signals. Reds are the hardest to reproduce and control because they have a tendency to over-saturate and "bleed." From the many sets that I have observed PANASONIC controls this "bleeding." PANASONIC keeps the Red signal at the same level and consistency of the Greens and Blues, which is more pleasing to the eye. In order to compare sets I always use the same video source, which is usually, a DVD player (I use the same player as well as the same software). My point is that I saw a discernable difference in the PANASONIC 32-inch sets compared to Sony's 32-inch sets. I believe PANASONIC's PANABLACK picture tube somehow is perfectly realized on their 32-inch sets.

In spite of some delivery problems, we have really enjoyed this excellent television, soon to be superceded (and replaced at our house) by the new CT36HX42. We're told it will be the same basic set with some incremental improvements.
Before choosing it, we did side by side comparisons with the Sony XBR and a few others. The Panasonic unit was slightly but consistently brighter and clearer. The clincher for us was that the Panasonic has a slightly narrower footprint. With the Sony XBR we would have been limited to a 32 inch screen in our 40 inch-wide space.
My only critism is that the universal remote has an inadequate memory, and can only be programmed for certaim components of other brands. In our case it cannot be programmed to control our non-Panasonic receiver---which pretty much defeats the purpose of a universal remote. But having to use a second remote is a minor annoyance at worst. We really enjoy the great picture, outstanding sound, (even without a home theater setup), and the easy-to-use menus for setup and adjustments. We think it's a great buy---but wait for the CT36HX42---it'll be along in July, and should be even better!!

My wife and I have been nursing along a 21-year old, 19-inch GTE/Sylvania color TV, that she had purchased as a Freshman in college. Single speaker, retractable rabbit antenna . . .
the unit is probably coal-burning.

Enter the world of "INVAR Shadow Masks", "Anamorphic DVD Detection", and "3D Y/C Digital Comb Filter". Hey, these sound like instruments of a CIA field agent . . and we just wanted a great picture. Not wanting to look like total imbeciles, we researched the Net, including the Amazon site.

After going to numerous stores to compare 36-inch sets, we can say without qualification - the picture clarity on the Panasonic CT36HX41 literally spanks the pants off anything else we looked at . . with the possible exception of the SONY XBR250 - the set we originally considered.

The problem with the SONY XBR250 was that at 40-inches across, it was impossible to find a well-made entertainment center large enough to hold this digital mausoleum. The only alternative was to have a cabinet-maker do a custom-build . . or order a Contemporary glass/chrome TV pedestal/settee . . . providing all the interior warmth and atmosphere of the restrooms at the Port Authority Bus Terminal.

We have hooked up the Panasonic set to a SONY DVPNS700P DVD player/ w progressive scan, and so far, the the picture has been astonishing. For those who don't want to invest in the whole home-theatre/ video receiver/AC3 experience, the Pansonic provides a very nice 3D surround sound built right-into the set.

Do yourself a huge favor and pay for home delivery. At 242 lbs., this Pansonic is not a set to put on the roof of your car.
Enlist the support of all the muscle you can find for this puppy.
