I purchased this TV after reviewing all the big names, Sony, Hitachi, Pioneer, Toshiba, etc. After careful consideration and hours of sitting in Circuit City and Best Buy, my wife(she's awesome! She wanted this just as bad as I did!) and I narrowed it down to 3 65"Sony, 53"Hitachi and the 61"RCA.What I wanted was basically a great picture. I don't care what audio features they have because I run that through my reciever anyway. Well, We decided on the RCA because we found it to be the best deal. The HD,DirectTV reveiver came with it. It was larger than the Hitachi, The picture was excellent, It was a great deal and we are both very happy parents of "Monster".

This is my first big screen television and I must say that I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I researched several other models including Sony, Toshiba, and Panasonic. In my opinion the RCA possesses the best picture and the lowest price. I found the television on display next to a similar Toshiba HDTV and the RCA's picture seemed noticeably better in my opinion, I even had the salesman surf through some local channels to compare the picture quality of both of these video behemoths.

The picture is clear and crisp as is the audio. The unit has plenty of input connections including composite video and s-video as well as standard RCA type audio outputs. The built-in DirecTV receiver is very nice and certainly necessary as there is no place for an external unit on top of the television. Unfortunately, I cannot record DirecTV programs utilizing my VCR because the built-in DirecTV receiver does not have an output for this purpose. The only other minor concern that I have is that the unit has a lot of depth, about 24.75 inches, something to consider if you have limited floor space. I would highly recommend this television to anyone.

On an earlier review, I stated that you could not get PinP, (picture in picture), with this unit. It states in the manual that PinP is not provided, but you can get it. Press the CMD button and the W button together, for PinP. then press CMD and M together to change the position of the PinP. After realizing this, I'd have to say that I like this keyboard the best, of the different Webtv compatable keyboards. This is really comfortable, when you have to use the keyboard for long periods.

I have two different webtv plus receivers. The first purchased in 1999 and the second in 2001.This is the first keyboard that I have found that is compatible with both of my receivers. I especially like the three different colored keys, making it easier for me to avoid errors, especially when hurrying to finish an email.The keys do not become as uncooperative (sticky, just don't always print) as the key boards did that came with the two receivers I have. I would highly recommend this keyboard to anyone seaching for a webtv plus keyboard.

The best thing abount this unit is the AC/DC. When your poweris knox out, you can still find out what is going on around you. It is very nice to know that is goining on around you while you are in the dark.(ex. went your power maybe back, or what the storm is doing.) Buy this and you will not be in the dark.

...and this 9 inch TV/VCR Combo is a good reason why. Thanks to the HQ circuitry VHS tapes look remarkably good. Basic television viewing is equally impressive via 181 channel digital synthesized tuning. The 2 head VCR has a 6 event/1 month timer and quick rewind. This unit also includes audio-video jacks, auto clock set, a headphone jack and V-chip parental control. It comes with a full-function remote.

This is a very nice dvd player, and Im very happy with the quality, and features. The only problem with this DVD player is that it wont play VCD's or SACD's. Some people say that you have to use CD-RW and Not just CD-R disks for it to play VCD's but I have yet to try that. Just about every dvd player will play VCD (even a 2 yr old apex dvd player)except this one. Thats the only downside to this player. The memory card reader works superb and the menu is chocked full of options. And with progressive scan on and 5.1ch enabled it is awesome. I would definitely recommend this player to anyone who wants a extremely good DVD player with enough features to please almost everyone.

At first when I got this I just thought it was alright and then I got in the menu of the actual DVD player. The options are endless. I went into setup and change the format from 16:9 to the regular 4:3, and then I was amazed. The EZ view option is by far the coolest. It allows you to change the view of a widescreen DVD to fullscreen which is really freaking awesome. Also the memory card reader allows you to watch movies that you have recorded with your digital camera. Overall this is the best DVD player and I recommend it to anyone.

Very nice style, durable heavy quality construction, easy-to-follow assembly instructions, good for concealing A/V wiring. This stand serves well for putting various audio components on the shelves and a turntable on the top. Also can be used for a TV on top and VCR/cable/DVD on shelves. Although it's a very nice product, the price is much too high for what you get. Design is modern and a very nice additional piece of "furniture" for an image-concious consumer.

A good stand -- very sturdy; I was nervous based on the picture. The quality of the wood is good too.

If you have enough components to fill it, and plan on connecting those to other items (speakers, tv, etc.), it can be very challenging to run all of the cables through the cable hiding system in the back. A very minor complaint for an overall very nice stand....

the tv has a good quality picture, but what i don"t likeis the black lines that boarders the screen its anoying sometimes.but overall i think sharp has a winner.

The image is great and the flat screen fits nicely into the entertainment center. Connectivity to the DVD is also nice. The front A/V port allows for great game input so you don't have to reach around. We have been pleased with it.

This TV works great in a kitchen or bedroom. Cool features like an AV in that can be switched to an AV out so sound can be run through the TV and then out to a stereo system. No problems with brightness even in front of a window. Has component video inputs but this TV does NOT support progressive scan (480p). I know because I tried it. The good news is that it doesn't seem to matter all that much. LC-20E1U has crisp, clean picture quality anyway. Sound quality is more than adequate for average television viewing. Annoying attribute: the stand tilts back at a minimum of about 12 degrees. Big plus: viewing angles, picture quality diminishes minimally (it is nearly unnoticeable) when viewed from an angle.

It fits on a bookshelf - picture and sound are great - easy to set up. It was delivered in less than a week in perfect condition. No complaints.

I bought this product trough a re-seller (dinastydeals) I go it it in time and it has a nice image, sound is not that good but you can improve it with a headset.

This is an awesome TV with really great picture quality. I have never seen this kind of reception on a portbale TV. With its portability and great picture reception it makes an excellent gift for a child or for yourself. I take this TV wherever I go and I think you should do the same. Some Advice: Buy rechargeable batteries. It will save you a lot of money.
