The Panasonic SuperFlat models rival the Sony Wega but sell for 30-40% less. The image quality is indistinguishable. After looking at the 27" Wega, I found that the Panasonic SuperFlat is so much less expensive that I can upgrade to a bigger model. The only question left is whether or not I have enough room for the 32" model in my livingroom.

Opting for a slightly smaller television with top notch quality was perfect for my small living space and desire to still have a "home theater."

When compared picture for picture next to a Sony or a Mitsubishi of the same size, the Panasonic SuperFlat is very similar. It has bright, vivid color and crisp definition. The Panasonic has the edge in cost against a similar Sony Trinitron and Mitsubishi models of any stripe.

The Panasonic CT27SF26 model is the smallest of the SuperFlat product line and lacks the DigitalReady features of the bigger models.

The real beauty of this product shows when incorporated with a DVD player. With 700 lines of resolution, the picture is impeccable over just any other run of the mill 27"-36" television including Panasonic's value conscious Panablack series.

Compared side by side with Sony Trinitron and Vega systems, the Panasonic's picture is just as sharp and just as bright for much less money. In addition, its real beauty shines when your space is limited but still want "home theater." Measuring about 10 inches deep and having every connection needed (S-Video and audio out) you can get a good system together without spending a fortune.

I was a little leary of purchasing another projection TV as I owned a Mitsubishi 45 inch set back in 1986 and was not pleased with the side angle view, the problem repairs, nor the short life expectancy (3 1/2 yrs.) of that set. The low price of the Philips Magnavox 55" at first drew my attention, but when I saw the picture quality and side view (awesome), I was sold. The better the broadcast signal, the better the picture quality on this set. DVD's look awesome, animated broadcasts look especially impresive and the sound is an unexpected bonus. So far I have nothing but good to say about this set. If you purchase one, you will not be disappointed.

I've just purchased the Philips 55PP9501 55" Wide Screen 100HZ Digital ready Rear projection TV. The Picture quality at 100HZ scan is so real that when there is a Water scene you want to reach out and dip your fingers in the water!. With the added benefit of a 100Watts Built in Sound System - I tell you I'm having trouble getting anything else done. My wife reckons it was the biggest mistake getting one as Now We do'nt go out as often. I just can't wait to get a DVD player to top it of. Highly recommended.

I bought one of these sets. It is awesome. For the price it beat all of the competition. The picture is crisp and clear and the sound quality from it's internal audio system is incredibly clear. This is a great television for anyone who wants a projection screen TV. I give it two thumbs up!! You won't be disappointed with this set.

This television has amazing image quality for a 13 inch television. I've ran DVD's, videotapes, video games, cameras, and everything else imaginable through it and they all show up with excellent color and quality. Sometimes it seems that the volume fluctuates (how loud a certain spot on the volume bar is seems to change) but I'm guessing that's just my cable provider. Overall, a great value at under $100.

I wanted a new tv for my room and picked up this one because of the av hookups, the brand and the price. It also looked pretty cool too. The child lock on the front should be on ALL tvs. The commerical skip buttons is cool too.

This TV is the same as the one advertised by Dish Network for 999.00 all inclusive HDTV package. I highly recommend this package if your are interested in true HDTV. I attached a Zenith Silver Sensor antenna to receive Over The Air Network broadcasts and the total package is incredible. Dish made a deal with RCA to manufacture this D34W20 TV and put a Dish Logo on the front instead of an RCA logo

This tv has been a great purchase for me. Got it for $1,000 at Sams Club (floor model) and I have been very happy with it. Tons of options, great picture, tons of inputs. Everything you need in an hdtv. The only problem is the weight, but you probably knew that already. If you don't need a huge screen, then this is a great choice. Picture tubes give the best picture.

I have found this TV to meet all expectations since purchase (approx 1 month). I found that the 34" format was the best size for my particular installation. When shopping around Xmas for this size I found about 3 or 4 manufacturers. All were nice looking sets and all seemed to have good pictures, but I must admit the price of the RCA was considerably less than others and I thought the picture quality was just as good as any other I looked at. The TV was easy to set up and the instructions were pretty clear for all my questions. DVD's look great and with a surround sound system installed, I couldn't be more satisfied. Hope this helps those of you considering this purchase.

if you are looking for a lcd monitor with tv tuner/pip/video capability, this is the one for you. unless you want the larger size version, that is.

great picture, sound quality, and features... you can't go wrong buying this monitor. only con is not having an included dvi cable.

So, I've been indoctrinated into the Samsung MP Monitor strategy. I owned the 150MP moved up to the 170MP and now I just bought the 192MP. As PC Monitors, I find all of them to be pretty good. What I'm always looking for is a better TV/DVD. I was disappointed with the 171MP with it's lack of ability to connect a DVD player (although it did HDTV). So, that's when I bought the 170MP.

I looked at the 172MP, but if I was going to do, I was going to do the 192MP. I also looked at the 173MW which is a very nice monitor, but it was 17" as well although it is 16:9. It also had some nice PIP with side-by-side configurations. In the end, the side-by-side made the computer screen very small and I decided against it. I also looked at the Sharp LL-M17W1U, but again the 17" was too small in a 16:9 format. Both of these made the PC monitor screen too small.

How do I like the 192MP? It's great.

Pros
*Better speakers than it's predessors.
*The component connection with progressive scan capability is awesome. The past monitors were better PC monitors than video. This one is very nice with the component connection for DVD. I would say the video has surpassed the quality of the PC screen. (Haven't tried HDTV yet).
*Connections on the left side (for headphone, composite/svideo w/audio) are easy to access although it would have been nice if they face backwards instead of out to the side.
*The connections on the back are easier to get to than previous models.
*The wheel around the power button for channel and volume is a nice touch.
*Menu, Exit, Enter, Source, PIP, MagicBright buttons on the right side are handy.
*Having only the power button with the channel/volume ring makes the front look very clean and elegant.
*The infrared for the remote is below the power button works better than previous placement on the top. On older models, the placement at the top sometimes made it hard to get to with a glare screen on it.
*The monitor knows when nothing is connected to an input and it will skip it as a choice when scrolling through the inputs. So, you don't waste time passing through inputs with no connections.
*I don't do gaming, so I don't have an opinion there.
*There's a wide mode for the screen to watch DVDs in the 16:9 aspect ratio.
*PIP can be 4:3 or 16:9

Cons
*I liked the other models which showed which input it was on using LEDs and they took that away.
*Doesn't have a line out to let me go between external speakers and internal speakers (but the connection is on the side, so it's easy to pull in and out).
*The PIP isn't very flexible with size (one size) and position (four positions). The older models had more flexibility. The 150MP the most. It diminished a little with the 170MP.

Conclusion - This is doing what I want (above the 170MP I had). Bigger, better screen. Great for DVDs with component progressive scan. The speakers are much better. The look is much cleaner and it's more ergonomic. I'm very happy with this monitor. It's just really expensive. But, I think it does deliver.

I shopped around for a flat LCD monitor with tv tuner. I didnt find much out there. I found this one and really liked all the features it has to offer. The quality and clarity is very crisp and clean. You can plug cable to this monitor and watch cable tv while you work on your computor from home. I recommend this LCD 19" flat monitor to anyone. A little expensive but well worth it.

This is an excellent product, with very smooth action and easy to use. I am completely satisfied with my purchase. I had considered more expensive turntables for my 27-inch TV but relied on reviews of this product from previous purchasers. I agree with everything they said. You will be pleased with the Sanus TV27 turntable.

I did a little research before buying and found a lot of expensive TV stand/turntables and others that looked cheap and unattractive. I'm very pleased with this one - it is very good quality construction, turns smoothly, never feels rickety or unstable, and blends perfectly with the black TV.

I recently purchased this product. I am very pleased with it. The turntable fits perfectly under my 27 inch TV and turns so easily.It fits so well that it looks like part of my TV. Anyone who might be thinking about purchasing a turntable would not be unhappy with this purchase. It is a great product.

We bought this TV for my 11 year old son for his birthday. He has always wanted a TV for his bedroom. He loves it, it is just perfect, good picture, good sound, easy remote, nice size for the bedroom and even looks cool, he likes the colors. Good Deal.

For a portable tv of this size, it has a lot of good features. A/V inputs, remote w/batteries, dual speakers, (one on each side), closed-captioning option, very good picture.....EVEN a timer! Was surprised to see all of this for a small pricetag! This tv is a super value.

Konka is the biggest TV manufactuer in China(One of the bigger DVD makers too). China as the biggest TV market(and one of the biggest electronic market) in the world is also the most competitive market with all the Japanese and domestic companies fighting over it. Konka made their name in China with quality and price, winning customers back from Sony and Panasonic and Toshiba and JVC, going from a tiny outfit ten years ago to one of the biggest company in China, and now they are in the US! It's a exciting fresh force in the US electronic landscape. But because of its novelty, and lack of promotion, not much American people know it. But trust me, they sell tens of millions of TV sets(and other electronics) in China every year, they are famous and big, and they can be trusted.

I have owned this television since christmas, and i have found it to be just as crisp and clear as my friends sony wega flat screen tv. The soundis great if you don't have a home theater setup, but beware at high volumes on the tv's speakers the screen may start to distort slighty on the edges, some may not even notice. I would say the volume has to be turned up to 50, half the volume on the television, which is very loud compared to most tv's. Other than that, this tv is a stunner for the price...

I'm very happy with the Phillips, I oscillated between that and several other flat screens, but I enjoy the features, the layout and design and the instructions are pretty straightforward.

Great picture,good sound quality from stereo speakers built in and it also has an M-link device that lets you hook up other devices and use your Phillips tv remote as a master.
I even managed to get the close caption to work in English on a DVD that was in a foreign language. I had the abiltiy to turn the captioning on and off which I liked. I'm not sure if this translation feature, was just for that DVD or if it will work with others. I'll update this to let you know. But all in all. Good value for the money. No regrets!

Just got this tv and so far I love it. The picture is beautiful and really crisp. Remote control is easy to use.

I was quite pleased and proud of my purchase.There was a little confusion about the delivery,at first even after paying the delivery fee to have it delivered properly and because I live on a hill, on the first attempt to my dissapointment the men actually took the tv back,after they asked me if I had anyone to take it up the hill and into the house,one call to Amazon took care of that. For the most part I get a beautiful picture.The surround sound is great,all instructions and help were clear and precise enclosed.The set was setup in the room of my choice and I was given a chance to refuse it or return it. Sometimes I get a sort of fade out , fade in which last about 2 seconds and as yet I have not identified the reason. Over all I really like the set.

I bought this projection TV when it first arrived on the shelves and have absolutly loved it ever since. I would strongly recomend it to anyone who enjoys watching movies. If you want to get the full effect on what this TV has to offer than I would strongly suggest that you buy a surrond sound system to go with it. When having a combo like this it really adds to the effect that you are at movie theater.

I've had my philips big screen tv for about 2 mounths now, and I love it. I shopped around first to check prices and also picture quality and you can't beat the picture quality you get with this tv. If you don't want to spend alot of money and you want the quility of the higher priced tv's than this is the one for you. I promise you won't be disappointed. I have to say it was worth every penny. Thanks philips for making a great tv.
