Great Sound, Great PlayerPro's: Great sound, 3D depth, sounds like your in the theater. DVD player is a great player.
Con's: The worst con is that it does NOT support progressive scan out put, just regular Video cables, and S-Video.

Nearly perfect.But you don't seem to sacrifice anything for the light weight. It's just as bright and sharp as the other InFocus projectors I've used (I believe LP435z is the model), which is to say, plenty good enough for anything but hard-core videophiles.
Alright, there is one thing; the LP130 isn't cheap. But it certainly isn't unreasonable compared to other native XGA, 1K lumen ultraportables. Sure, it has the same black-level limitations as all DLP projectors. And it runs pretty hot, almost too hot to touch sometimes.
Those are minor niggles. Overall, this is the best projector I've seen.

Yes, this is the one you wantAnyway, it's a great set. Image and sound are really sharp and can be customized a million ways. The flat screen is really worth it--if you're moving from a standard curved screen, you'll really love the improved viewing area from all over the room. The remote is really great and centralizes everything (DVD, cable, VCR, TV). Its looks are good too--not a huge fan of the silver which seems to have taken over the TV industry, but I guess it's an improvement over black. So, yeah, you'll be happy with it.
Quality SetI've had it about a month and I've been very happy. Excellent picture, especially via the S-Video and composite jacks. (One each, plus front panel S-Video.) It puts out a very bright picture out of the box, but I toned that down with the controls. Some people may like that, I guess.
My only "gripe" would be that I'd like an extra S-Video rear-panel input. With all the various AV components, an extra one would be handy. However, I guess one can just run them through an AV receiver. The 802 has 3 rear inputs, but PIP is of dubious utility and not really worth the extra [money].
Anyway, I'd wholeheartedly recommend this set.
Flat Screen Quality at a fair priceOverall, [the price] may sound a lot for a 27", but the picture and sound and look of it is awesome for this flat screen.

Great value for a Flat Screen 36 inch TV!The remote is easy to use and ties in well with our JVC DVD player. The 16:9 mode on the TV makes viewing DVD in widescreen a treat!
This TV does not have a lot of bells and whistles but if you want the needed essentials...
* 3 Line digital comb filter
* Invar Mask Shadow
* Pure flat screen
* 16:9 DVD mode
All on a huge 36 inch screen for the right price this TV is for you!
excellent TV!The 16x9 anamorphic squeeze means when you watch a DVD which is widescreen you can set the DVD player to '16x9' then select the 16x9 button on the JVC TV remote and away you go - the DVD resolution is upped, and you get 33 inches of widescreen DVD glory... it looks seriously good!
I like the fact that this TV has a good picture on cable, digital, VCR, and DVD. The sound from the built-in speakers is excellent as well.
Pros:
flat-screen picture is sharp and easily adjustable
16x9 anamorphic squeeze
VSM can be turned off
component video input
nice sound from built-in speakers
user-friendly menus, and easy to set up
Cons:
very, very heavy (189lbs)
the all too familiar 'red push' when first set up (easily adjusted in service menu)
slight 'pincushioning' - but not too severe, and can probably be tweaked

Great set - but it needs lots of space because of its size.You really need a large living room to place the unit in since it is rather large. You need to be seated a minimum of 12 feet from the screen to get a great picture. Off angel viewing is good as well. The cabinate sits on rollers so it is easy to move. It also offers automatic convergence as well as multiple picture settings for sports, movies, TV etc. Colors are crisp and the picture is sharp (minimum viewing distance required).
I got it for a great price and the only thing I need to add is a HDTV tuner.
Going Big? This is it$$$$$$$$
