awsome bag great room
i loved the bag it has alot of room it was great buy and if i had to get another bag i would get the same one!!! it holds everything and it looks really good too. bye this bag if u want to take good care of your portable DVD player.

Just the Right Size!
I was looking for a case for my portable DVD player, but so many of them were big and bulky. I wanted to be able to stash it in my tote bag that I carry onto the plane. I finally found this one. It is the perfect size. My 9 inch Panasonic fits perfectly in it and is held securely by a velcro strap. Another compartment has room for several DVDs. I'm going to get another one for my daughter's portable player.

Perfect case for larger portable DVD players
We bought the 9" Toshiba portable DVD player for the car and needed a case. This one is ideal with plenty of room for cords, DVD's, player, etc. Very sturdy with a built-in velcro strap to secure it. It is probably too large for 6" and under players.

it was good while it lasted.............
bought this tv about a year ago and really liked it til this past week when the dvd player quit working in the middle of a movie and the picture tube started to go...as it turns out, the dvd drive warranty *just* ran out...so it'll cost about as much to fix the thing as it did to purchase it. is this what i can expect from toshiba?

Great picture, bad ergonomics
I picked this TV up the other day, it looked great and worked well. However the remote control is very badly laid out. For instance you will never find the volume control in the dark unless you memorize exactly how many buttons down and over it is. Also there is no mute control. There is no SVideo in. Worst of all for me was that out of the three universal remotes I tried for it none would work. I returned the TV the day after I purchased it.

YES YOU CAN SEE ANY CLOSED-CPATIONED
An earlier review indicated that you don't get to see the caption with a closed-captioned DVD while you do with a regular TV show. But mine works on both! I just bought the complete first season set of "friends" and am enjoying the show itself as well as the caption.

For the price, I don't think you can find anything better. You get a good picure quality TV and a DVD player in one machine. What's left to complain? I originally bought it based on my years of trust and good experience with toshiba and two positive reviews. Now if I ever have to buy another one, I'd absolutely get the exact same one. Almost perfect. Plus, delivery right to your front door from amazon. No time wasting, no lifting, no trouble at all.

It's true it's quite selective when it comes to vcds. It doesn't seem to read certain vcds. But it reads cds and cd-roms very well, with excellent sound quality.

Never regret I bought it. It's totally worth the money.

acoustic research a temporary fix
o.k let's face it. these cables are about one step up from the free ones that come in the box. i recommend these to someone with a weak, starter system. basically, they'll do the job until you can spring for more sophisticated cables , i highly recommend audioquest by the way. the key to a good sounding system is to keep it simple, meaning the less components you have hooked up to your amp or receiver, the less distortion will be made. i have two jbl 10's, a harman kardon stereo receiver, and a sony mega changer cd player. cablewise, i have a paire of audioquest coral analog connectors, and audioquest midnight speaker cable, a ten foot pair, the shorter the better when it comes to speaker cable, also, less expensive. i consider my home system low end and a starter system at best. while i have sunk about 2300 dollars into it, and to most people, non audiophiles, that is a lot ogf money, it really isn't when you look at all your options out there. one could easily spend 25, 30 grand building a system piece by piece, of course, using middle to high end equipment, not the junk that they want to sell you in best buy or circuit city. remember, when buying expensive audio equipment, especially online, make sure you are buying new, factory sealed product with manufacturer warranty. you'll see some insanely low prices out there on decent items, and chances are that they have been used, demoed, or factory refurbished at some point. all in all, these cables got me through about 6 months of listening and they sounded well enough, until i could afford better ones.

Take it from a serious audiophile - these are good
I am one of the great audiophiles of the world. I have spent over $7.5 million in the past 5 years on super-duper high-end equipment by high-end manufacturers that are so elite that you can't find a single reference to them anywhere on the internet, that's how high-end they are, let me tell you. And I have purchased many gold and platinum tipped cables, 10 foot cables which cost up to $120,000 each, searching for that magic cable that will take me to that next level of audio perfection. And I must say that these little $15.00 cables match the performance of any of the high-end thousand dollar cables I have used before.

For the perfect demo, there's a little 12 second, high-pitched, hyperactive yet quiet acoustic guitar solo on John McLaughlin's Shakti album, track 2, about 30 seconds into the track. And with these cables, that little solo is opaquified and, if your sitting in the sweet spot, you will see that the chrome tips brighten and transperify the treble to a such point of perfection, it is like seeing God. Of course, I have to add that I am using these cables with super-duper high end audio equipment valued at nearly $68 million. I admit that I enjoy listening to my system more than I like listening to music. I am constantly just sampling 10 seconds here and 15 seconds there on a Sade album, or on a Paco De Lucia album, just to demonstrate the high-endedness of my system. I have never listened to more than 15 seconds of a song on any of the hundreds of Super-Duper Audio Format CDs that I own. That's just me.

Anyway, I still recommend that you spend $100,000 on your primary cables, but these little $15.00 cables are something to try out, just for giggles.

Acoustic Research Cables - Perfect cables for the prices!
Since the reviews for these products are all tied together, I'll lump all four of them together in one review.

Several recent additions and upgrades to two home theater systems necessitated several new audio and video cables. For overall quality and pricing, I found the following cables by Acoustic Research to be perfect for each particular connection that they are intended for:

Acoustic Research AP031 6-Foot Stereo Analog Interconnect - These are your standard red/white audio cables that are integral to connections such as receiver to tape player, receiver to CD player, receiver to television, receiver to DVD player and receiver to VCR. In each case, I found the quality to be perfect in these connections with Audio Research's AP031. They're so high in noise reduction that if there are any extraneous noises, I'm certainly not hearing it.

Acoustic Research AP064 A/V RCA Audio w/S-Video - These are the perfect cables for your standard receiver to VHS player with S-Video capability. With these particular cables I'm receiving the highest quality picture and audio one can expect from a VCR.

Acoustic Research AP071 6 foot Coaxial Digital Audio Cable - This particular cable is outstanding in the capacity of receiver to DVD player in covering both digital audio and digital video signals!

Acoustic Research AP091 3 Piece, 6 foot Red/Blue/Green Component Video Cables - I'm using this particular cable in the capacity of receiver to television set and simply put, one would be hard pressed to receive higher signal quality, color saturation, black level, picture detail, all leading to a sharper, clearer picture!

Overall, I highly recommend these and any other cables from Audio Research as I've found, with few exceptions, that one would be hard pressed to find better cables in the same price range! You don't necessarily have to spend a ton of money on a name when you can spend far less and receive the same quality such as that delivered by Acoustic Research's products. {ssintrepid}

Not Bad
This is great card for windows ME 98 95
The best for windows XP are Rodeon 7000 and up.
Old card for XP, better get Rodeon will not disapoint you

Excellent Upgrade, Nice price
I purchased this as an inexpensive upgrade to the existing video card in my 5 year old Pentium II system. It was easy to install (just swapped cards and installed the drivers).

The performance has been as good as expected. I have had some problems with a couple of games, but new drivers fixed those problems.

Overall, an excellent upgrade for the price. If you have an older PII or Pentium I system, this is an excellent choice.

Works great for 2nd monitor - Win2000
Pluged it into a PCI slot, connected a monitor, and started my monitor array without a problem. Dell 866 mhz Dimension 4100. Graphics and complex Flash presentations work very well on the card and dragging them between monitors is a seemless experience. Any of the ATI Rage 128 cards should work in this capacity.

The dvd player will not play dvd's
We received this t.v. as a gift for Christmas 2001.My daughter lost the receipt so we couldn't return the t.v where she bought it from. The t.v. itself is just fine it also plays regular cds fine but she got it for us for the tv/dvd player. If anyone could help us figure it out I'd appreciate it.The phone number for service is no longer in service so we cannot contact anyone to help us.We are really disappointed. The store says they are discontinued so it couldn't be returned anyway.I sure wouldn't buy another one like it unless I saw it working first.

Not bad at all...
The remote was not a problem for me and I like the idea of having everything integrated. I have noticed dropped/skipped frames once in awhile, but I can live w/ it. Also, this unit DOES play CDR's as well as VCD, DVD, CD and CDRW.

Nice littleTV
We have this little TV as a viewer at the Brookstone store I work for for our product DVDs. I love it. I actually tried to track one down. It's menus are a bit of a pain to get through(unless you know how to get to them quickly), but I like the idea of having a TV and DVD all in one.

Video Audio Synchronization
I worked for hours, followed all of Avermedia's reccomendations to optimize my cpu. I have a new 3ghz Dell and I could never get the audio to match the video. In the captured video the person would speak, 3 second later I hear them.

Thumps Up. took me 10 mins to make it up and running
Pros: Compact/Simple/Easy to install. Device was detected on my first attempt and the resolution is also great. Works with Windows Movie Creator software.

Cons: Software Interface. Provided software crashed when I had the USB plugged in. Have to unplug & launch the software again. So, be ready to do in-&-out.

Revised review -- it works!!!
I ordered this item and had trouble getting it installed. Dell Computer tech supoport gave bad advice and I had trouble reaching AverMedia tech support. When I did, I finally got instruction on the proper connection and the capture works well. The MovieShop editing software (by Broderbund) included on the installation CD is very troublesome, but Windows Movie Maker can be used instead (bundled in WindowsXP). I raised my rating from 1 star to four, would be 5 if the MovieShop worked. Also, the cords are a bit short, but for the money, it's great equipment.

This camera is great
This camera works fine, the installation is quick and easy..if u know what ur doing, and everything else is smooth, the picture quality is smooth and clear, and the video and sound work good,i recommend that u buy this

awesome little cam!!
the people who find this hard to install must have brain damage - it is plug and play at its simplest and best - xp recognizes it in a flash and the software is effortless to install - I tried the similarly priced creative webcam pro and couldn't say the same - the picture quality is not exactly what I get from my coolpix 5700 but for something its size it is really quite extraordinary - the video is totally fun to play with and the mic is really amazing too - I haven't used my headset once with this- the automatic compression for sending the videos is nice too - also the face tracking feature is impressive although there is a little too much zoom for my personal taste - the stop motion animation feature is a bonus and fun to play with - overall a great product for the price - two small complaints - the shield (blue pastic piece) keeps falling off and the base is less than totally sturdy - I use a thin flat-screen monitor and had to jerry-rig a way to keep it in place. For the $60 Canadian I paid during a boxing day sale I feel like I got the best posisble deal - A+

FANTASTIC!
This really couldn't have been any easier to use. I literally took it out of the box, plugged the camera into my USB port, installed the software and I was done and able to take pictures all within the space 10 minutes!

Many other webcams give off quite poor quality pictures but this camera's picture is really clear and not at all grainy. You can use the timer option on this aswell.

So if you're looking for a good webcam that won't cost you an arm and leg, look no further than this one!

OK Camera, Pretty Bad Support
I used this little cam to setup a video conference with my brother for Thanksgiving, and it worked ok. But when I upgraded by computer to Windows 2000 Professional, here's the Ezonics response:

> We do not have drivers for the EZcam USB and the Windows 2000 Professional OS. We have no plans at this time to have drivers for the Ezcam USB and the Windows 2000 Professional OS -- Ezonics

If you have Win2K, or plan on installing it, stay away from the Ezonics products.

This is really an awesome webcam
I have heard people talked about the bad support and obsolete drivers about this camera. But for the image quality, this is the best one I have seen for webcams. This camera has a real CCD sensor other than cheap CMOS compared with other webcams. For the drivers, it could be downloaded from internet, working fine both with win2k and XP.

a decent little camera.
I have heard horror stories about this camera. I got it running under windows 2000 & windows 98se both in one try. MAKE SURE you have it unplugged when you run the setup. The image quality is good, remember when you buy a Web Cam don't expect photo quality. This is about the best pics I've seen from a cam. It even produces nice images under low light conditions. I also had a Phillips vesta? something like that. Well this is leaps and bounds better. I recommend this camera to anyone who is looking for a easy to use decent camera.

Worst product ever! ---- Don't buy it!
Don't buy it! After setting up this gem of a TV/DVD Combo, everything worked fine. However after less than 3 hours of use, the dvd player stopped working! Toshiba was NO HELP! NO TECH SUPPORT ON OR OFF LINE. They want me to bring it to one of their very few service centers. This place is over 50miles from my home. "I Don't think so"! When the dvd player starts, I get a error message (incorrect Disk) with a disk that allready played ONCE! I have tried several other disks, with the same results! So now I just have a very expensive plain TV!... Frist and last Toshiba product for me!!!

no remote
it is a beautiful tv. no remote is maddening. the picture is okay, but it could be better. i am suprised toshiba left off so many things, but if you can live with it, buy the tv.

It's what's not there that is a problem
I was awaiting the previous Model to come into stock when I found this Model, the next one available for immediate shipping. I jumped at it assuming it was the same as the previous model, only better.
Let me say as a TV/DVD it is wonderful, audio and pictures are great, BUT.... No mute and no S Video. Plus the provided Toshiba codes for setting up the DISH remote do not work either. We spoke to Toshiba and they confirmed no MUTE and no SVideo and gee if the codes don't work better speak to DISH.
I'm sorry, but not having a mute on a TV these days is so passe as to be funny and one does expect SVideo on a[n expensive] TV.
