Bought this for my college daughter in June 99. She loves it. EZ set up. Offers a great picure and nice sound.

This TV/VCR Combo has many usefull fetures. The time index search is handy when you have more than one programm on a tape, especially the timer stamp feature that catalogues the timer recorded events for easy access, and the captioning on mute is useful when you get a phone call and want to keep up with the movie. The record quality on the 2-head VCR on SLP was almost indistinguishable from the original screening. What impressed me most, however, was the picture qualtity, it is sharper than any other TV in the house, even my parents older flat sceen Panasonic. I had to change the default setting for brightness was too bright for my taste, but the picture settings were easy to change and once I lowered the brightness the shape and color distinctions on my Satillite reciever was the best I have seen outside a Theature. Easy to operate space saveing and excellent value at a very low cost I can highly recommend this as a valuable addition to an entertainment system.

This is an excellent little piece of equipment if you don't have space. Totally self-contained, very reliaable, takes a beating etc. I've had one for a year + now and beat if up pretty good. No problems whatsoever.

I know when others will tell you the Nvidia FX 5600 Ultra is not worth buying....yada yada.... These are probably guys who have never seen this card in action! I have upgraded from a GF2 Ti 64, it's a different world out there upon upgrading. I have played the Call of Duty demo, graphics was good and smooth, didn't miss a beat. Sure, synthetic test figures ain't that great, who cares, as long as you can play all the games! I don't think you go wrong with this card.

This is a great, high quality graphics card that will make your games look like nothing you've ever seen. It gives me higher resolution, higher frame-rate, and better detail than I ever got with my GeForce II Ti.

The card, itself, is beautiful. It is finely crafted, with a sturdy design--Large fan, solid base. The card actually requires its own connection to the power supply. Initially, I thought it was either that it was an inefficient power-hog, or a high-quality work of art. It was the latter!

In addition to all this, I was pleasently surprised that it came with the full version of Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell!

If you're in the market for a kick-ass graphics card, get this one!

Upgrade from geforce2 GTS 64MB to FX 5600 ultra. This suprised me and the graphic is too pretty to describe. Beleive me buy this card from Amazon. The cheapest price is in Amazon. I had already shopped around the entire internet and retail store. Oh. the FX5600 ultra 128MB is better than the FX5600 256 MB. Get the ultra. lot faster. I can play both directX 9.0 and 8.0 game on my computer.I am running unreal II, Raven shield. make the setting at 1024X768 32 bit on 85 hz. this is the lowest setting but give you impessive graphic. I tried the highest setting with no problem. The performance of this card is really good and worth! The speed and performance is between Radeon 9700 pro and 9600 pro. Very close to 9700 Pro on some game. eg. Splinter cell. Oh. make sure you upgrade your directX to 9.0 after you install this card. The above review detail can be found on internet. Just type pny geforce fx 5600 ultra review. There are lot of useful information there. I read them all and decided to buy from amazon because of the price and the performace. Of course, if you want to stand out of the crowd. Get the GeforceFX 5900 ultra 256 MB or Radeon 9800 Pro.

ITS SIMPLE LOVE THE TV CAN NOT FIND V PORT WIRE TO HOOK INTO V PORT SLOT ON TV

I do not own this TV, and since the previous reviews were of no help, I have to ask these questions to other people who own this TV:

Does the V Port provide a picture quality that is significantly better than a regular S-video plug ???

This TV seems like a great buy since it also has component plugs which are great for DVD movies. But it is not truly a HDTV. It is considered to be an "analog" TV. So should I buy this analog TV, or should I buy a true HDTV ???

Only 11 TVs support Microsoft X Box's new VPORT, this is one of them. I highly recommend this TV for the price.

I sent the TV, RCA T13072 13'' Kitchen TV/VCR COMBO White. My sister says that TV Channels 3 and 6 in Phila., Pa. - the reception is very poor. The Antenna appears defective.

The RCA kitchen TV/VCR with the swivel base has been a wonderful addition to our kitchen. The picture is very clear and the VCR easy to use. The remote control is also very user friendly. But the best part is the attached swivel base. The swivel base is not visible. And the TV turns very easily and safely. It doesn't slide on the counter top when my little son pushes on the TV's controls and I'm not worried about him pushing it off the counter top.

After doing a complete kitchen remodel, we shopped around for a small TV/VCR combo for the kitchen. We looked at some much more expensive models, with specs that looked better on paper. We are very fussy about picture quality and didn't want to suffer with an inferior image. However, the sealed membrane remote control sealed the deal for my wife, who is the primary user. That was a year ago, and this TV has been one of the more satisfying products of any type we've bought recently. The picture is much better than I had imagined once I got rid of the silly factory settings and calibrated it to a realistic level. It is on and off all day long as we are in and out of the kitchen. All the ergonomic features work perfect, from the swivel base, the grab handle behind the top surface to the membrane remote that can be picked up with wet hands without damaging it. The tape function work well, and my wife has been using her cooking tapes quite a bit. It is amusing to us now that we were prepared to pay three times as much to get a good picture. We have had a chance to look at those other sets since, and we now know that this set beats them all on ergonomics and kitchen specific functions, and holds it's own on image quality with the expensive sets. A win / win for us.

If you are wondering how to hook up your new DVD/VCR to an older TV which still works fine, then an RF Modulator is what you really need to allow the connection of a DVD player to your older TV set.

You plug your DVD/VCR player into the RF Modulator and plug the RF Modulator into the coaxial input.

It is like buying a new TV, just less expensive.

The VCR part quit working less than one year after purchase. TV works just fine...

Panasonic produces excellent 9inch TVs. Smaller screens give you crisper and more brilliant looking pictures. This is a very exact 2-head TV-VCR with monaural playback. Videotapes look really good on this unit. You can take it along with you with the Car cord included for portable AC/DC operation. It has a Built-in FM radio with auto scan and front audio-video jacks which come in handy. This unit gives you incredible picture quality because of its inherent size and design. Videotapes that don't look so great at home look excellent when played on this unit. The picture actually looked very sharp. I recommend this set.

This is a very nice 2-head TV-VCR with linear sound playback. Panasonic makes very good 9inch TVs. One reason for the incredible picture quality is that the electron gun can keep very accurate control on a smaller screen size delivering crisper and cleaner images. VHS tapes look amazingly good. It has a Built-in FM radio with auto scan. It also comes with a Car cord included for portability AC/DC operation and front audio-video jacks. THE PERFECT STORM looked very sharp on this unit.

This VCR is a great addition to my DSS receiver/27inch TV. I'm confused by Dr. Hoffman's review, since the Panasonic S9670 offers two S-Video connections, which allows you to hook up a satellite receiver or DVD player to the VCR and also to connect the VCR with a TV which has a s-video input. The one thing that could be improved would be the remote, which I find neither ergonomic nor easy to use. I agree with the other reviewers that the commercial advance feature is great. The VCR+ Plus/GOLD feature has been disappointing, however, since my DirectTV sattelite channels still haven't been recognized by the VCR (a process that is supposed to be done automatically, but it's been unsuccesful so far), so plugging in the VCR+Plus code is useless. I can't comment on reliability since I've only had it two months. The front RCA/Video outputs are easily accessible, but aesthetically they're too prominently displayed. One other quirk--when the VCR is programmed to look for something (memorizing channels, finding the correct time automatically, etc.) the front display reads ALL SET when in fact it isn't. Finally, the VCR has an annoying habit of skipping two to three seconds ahead from play-stop-play, so you have to rewind a bit after stopping to catch all the dialog. Still, a very good VCR overall.

Very good picture quality and the Commercial Advance is just too cool. If it only had S-Vidio connections it would be perfect but, for the price, you can't beat it.

Wow, cheap for the features. I've had no problems at all with this VCR, and it's one of the easier ones to program. It even sets the clock automatically (well, I guess all of them do that now). If you want the higher-rez picture of SVHS at a pretty low price, this ain't a bad choice.

The trouble with most combination devices is that they try to do too much, and thus end up doing lots of things poorly. With the D-Snap 50, Panasonic has avoided this all too common design flaw... mostly.

The D-Snap 50 is an excellent gadget for professionals on the go, combining a two megapixel video camera, a digital voice recorder, and an MP3 player all into a package smaller and lighter than a pack of cigarettes. The bundled software is complete (if unexceptional) and the controls are fairly intuitive - most people familiar with digital cameras should be able to master the basics in a few minutes of use.

Nonetheless, there are a few questions I'd like to ask the D-Snap engineering team. First, did you intend for me to amputate my right index finger in order to take a decent picture? Second, just how many songs, memos, pictures, and videos do you expect me to fit on a measly 8 megabyte memory card? Third, why so many different quality settings for images when only Superfine (or Fine and big) is even good enough for email? Finally, would Macintosh support have killed you?

Despite these grievances, this is a great buy for a select target audience, such as people considering the Palm Zire 71 that prefer to organize their thoughts using spoken words instead of text. With a little practice - and a 256 MB or 512 MB Secure Digital Card - the D-Snap's annoyances will quickly fade. Three-and-a-half stars now, four when the price comes down a little.

I really enjoy this product. I ordered it off the internet and i had read some reviews saying it was just ok... so i felt a little wary. However, this is the coolest product ever! All of the photos and video are good quality and the MP3 is really cool! I am so pumped to show all of my friends! It is a real attention getter and I love it! It is so tiny that you can take it ANYWHERE. SMALLER THAN MY CELL! Its a great product and i encourage anyone to buy! Im gonna go use it some more now! LOVE IT! 5

For the price, this unit does everything I wanted it to, in terms of sound and features. I had hoped that composite video inputs could be output via the s-video out, but I can accept the fact that I'd have to pay more for this feature.

However, I'm in the process of returning this unit for one single reason: there is a fairly obvious delay in the audio output. With either a DVD or digital cable box signal (using coax digital and RCA inputs, respectively) there is a delay between the video source and the audio output, resulting in slightly out-of-sync dialog. If I also hook up the RCA audio-out of the DVD directly to the TV, then the delay is more obvious -- the TV outputs the sound before the receiver, causing an echo effect. I've called Sony and they have no suggestions other than returning the unit.

Assuming this is an isolated problem with this particular unit, I'll be amending this review, as everything else about this receiver was totally satisfactory.

The Sony STR-DE685 is a fine receiver for the money. Lots of bells and whistles. Be careful, because it has a great THD rating in stereo, but only so-so with all 5 channels driven. Other companies do the same thing. I really like the features and the remote is probably the best in the business, despite the fact that the keys are small. All in all I liked it so much that when it came time to buy a second one, I bought a STR-DE985, which is similar, but with better specs.

I have had this reveiver for three months now and love it. I am very pleased and have not had the audio delay problem mentioned in the other review. I would highly recommend this product. Nice versitility - Tons of bells and whistles.

I highly recommend the Sylvania 2-head VCR to anyone who wants good quality at an affordable price.I've owned a Sylvania T.V. and a Sylvania VCR and they both lasted me 9 years.This one may not be a top of the line 4-head model,but it still will last you for years,and the picture is as good as you can get from a 2-head.

What can I say,it's a great value for the person that wants good quality at a low price.I've owned a sylvania tv before and it lasted 9 years,so did the sylvania VCR I bought with it.I recently upgraded to a 4-head Sanyo though to match my new tv.
