The best thing abount this unit is the AC/DC. When your poweris knox out, you can still find out what is going on around you. It is very nice to know that is goining on around you while you are in the dark.(ex. went your power maybe back, or what the storm is doing.) Buy this and you will not be in the dark.

...and this 9 inch TV/VCR Combo is a good reason why. Thanks to the HQ circuitry VHS tapes look remarkably good. Basic television viewing is equally impressive via 181 channel digital synthesized tuning. The 2 head VCR has a 6 event/1 month timer and quick rewind. This unit also includes audio-video jacks, auto clock set, a headphone jack and V-chip parental control. It comes with a full-function remote.

Very nice style, durable heavy quality construction, easy-to-follow assembly instructions, good for concealing A/V wiring. This stand serves well for putting various audio components on the shelves and a turntable on the top. Also can be used for a TV on top and VCR/cable/DVD on shelves. Although it's a very nice product, the price is much too high for what you get. Design is modern and a very nice additional piece of "furniture" for an image-concious consumer.

A good stand -- very sturdy; I was nervous based on the picture. The quality of the wood is good too.

If you have enough components to fill it, and plan on connecting those to other items (speakers, tv, etc.), it can be very challenging to run all of the cables through the cable hiding system in the back. A very minor complaint for an overall very nice stand....

It has four autocleaning, 19 micron heads. The picture quality can be enhanced with a sharpen picture button on the face. The sound is clear (90 dBs). It offers playback of SVHS in quasimode (not SVHS quality) and has automatic time set from TV stations. It has 400x speed rewind, noisy but quick. I thought the auto set-up could be better, but you only have to do it once. Still frame was usually clear. The remote is color coded and can be programmed to operate most TVs, Cable boxes/Satellite Receivers. If you loose the remote most operation buttons, including menu are on the front of the VCR. It offers Index search, one button skip search and instant replay on tapes. Finally, it has a tamper proof setting for those with children.

This VCR is very good for the money you pay, and has a good clean and crisp picture. The pause feature is good too

Very nice and convenient but a little dim past 10 feet or so.

I've used this light a lot since purchasing it and it has worked well in most situations that would cause chroma noise in dark environments. Use little battery power but is surprisingly bright in short range shooting, say up to max 10 ft. Combine with a Sony camcorder's Program mode for Sunset/Twilight and you can get good, clean and decently lit video.

There are certain things that I always consider worth the splurge; a quality car so that I'm never stuck by the side of a road, a really good pair of shoes to save me from blisters, and Sony display equipment.

The computer monitor and television market are both ruled by Sony on the high-end and for good reason. Sony's Trinitron tubes are remarkable and display vivid colors with the least possible amount of distortion in the picture. Until we can all afford the Sony Wega - this is the television to own. I'm very happy with all of my Sony Trinitron-based products and will continue to exclusively purchase them over others.

Along with the wonderful trinitron picture tube, this TV has great sound. Most people forget to check the sound package on a TV before they bring it home. This TV is one of the best.

It is hard to believe just how cheap stereo VCR's are getting, only a few years ago you couldn't find one for less then $250 and now they are starting at under $150. In the past I have had the oppertunity to use several differant brands of VCR's and have had nothing but trouble. I have had a Panasonic VCR that in less than a year went into the repair shop twice because a tape had gotten stuck in the unit. I've had a Magnavox VCR that didn't even last a year and a half. I've also used a Toshiba, and another Panasonic unit at my former work, and I must say that they were two of the most tempermental video units that I've ever used. This Sony unit (that I just got) is similar to my other Sony (SLV-675HF) that is almost 3 years old now. In the three years that I've had my Sony VCR, I have never had a problem with it. It is easy to use, program, and if you can't set the clock you must be stupid. The picture has always been great (for VHS, I prefer the quality of DVD), and it records like a champ. The remote is one of the best I've used, the only thing that would make it better is backlighting (but that's just nitpicking). If you need a new VCR, buy a SONY. In a weird side story, both my sister and I bought new VCR's the same week. She got a more expensive Hitachi, and I got my beloved Sony, and of the two units the Sony is the better performer.

I purchased this VCR from Amazon.com because my old one broke and is currently being repaired. I needed a good replacement VCR and fast.

This VCR is great! As I have always been impressed with all of Sony's products I have purchased in the past, this VCR continues that great legacy. I get my nicely designed VCR with front inputs, in/out RCA and RF on the back. The controller is nicely designed and easy to use. It comes with batteries for the remote, another plus of not having to buy. A great thing is it comes with an extra RF cable to allow you to continue WATCHING cable AND RECORD at the same time! (when connected properly)

In recording experience, it works great, and timer features, everything is here and I am definently happy. Only small minor flaw is that pushing the record button to record, it takes perhaps 3 to 5 seconds for the tape to "actually" start recording, so if you want to record something, hit record early, then hit pause, and you can go from there.

This is a great VCR for [the price]! Check it out.

This projector is gorgeous!...very much part of the apple design scheme, gloss white, simple interface, motorized lens cover and motorized auto tilt( it remembers last used setting and tilt and keystone corrects to the same setting)....it is quiet but in high mode (to get the advertised 1800 lumens) the fan kicks it up and is loud. for the money this is an excellent deal...at least this month...

This is my first projector and beleive me, nothing more easy to use than this. Just turn it on, conect and use. Beautiful image and perfect for my home video system. Dont doubt it, get it and be happy.

I've had this hammer for a few years now and I like it quite a bit.Knowing this is a light duty finish tool,I've put it through some serious pounding and pulling.my torture test didn't loosen the head or break the handle.It passed with flying colors.The black finish has worn off over the years but thats no big deal after all it is a hammer.the price is very good. Well worth the money.In my opinion this hammer is tool box worthy. Now get out and pound something.

When I look for a Mini-Dv tape, my only choices are Sony or TDK as both are quality tapes. Then, my next choice is the price, which is more often TDK with its affordable price. When you even find a very special 5 pack price, never miss it !

Can be used multiple times without fail.

About what should be expected from the tapes of this type. Reliable and sturdy - I dropped them more than once without breaking or damaging them.

This was the best quality I have ever seen in blank video cassette tapes. It records the best! I think that everyone should buy this!
