Sanus TV27 Turntable
This is an excellent product, with very smooth action and easy to use. I am completely satisfied with my purchase. I had considered more expensive turntables for my 27-inch TV but relied on reviews of this product from previous purchasers. I agree with everything they said. You will be pleased with the Sanus TV27 turntable.

Good quality at good price
I did a little research before buying and found a lot of expensive TV stand/turntables and others that looked cheap and unattractive. I'm very pleased with this one - it is very good quality construction, turns smoothly, never feels rickety or unstable, and blends perfectly with the black TV.

great machine
This is a very nice camcorder with the best video imaging available in a single-chip camcorder. Video pictures are crystal clear, digital images are the best of any consumer level camcorder anywhere, and the manual switches on the camcorder put you in control of important functions. i must say this is better than any other camcorder. buying this camcorder is not overkilling. if you want good quality go for this. but if you think this is expensive then you have choice. you can go for trv27. but remember you cann't compare TRV50 with TRV27 becoz the features are different. TRV50 is latest....for this century.

real handycam
Sony's MiniDV DCR-TRV50 is their upgrade to the popular DCR-TRV30. The camcorder is a standard form factor, with many neat features and good still quality. The DCR-TRV50 carries a street price around [$$$].

The Sony DCR-TRV50 has a 1/4 in. 1.5 Mega Pixel HAD CCD. The effective video pixels used is 970K while the still is 1,390K, but more about the still performance later. The DCR-TRV50 has a 10x optical, 120x digital zoom while the horizontal resolution is rated at 530 lines, the top for the MiniDV format.

An upgrade of the DCR-TRV50 over the DCR-TRV30 is the addition of a touch panel LCD screen. The LCD is 3.5 in. and 246K pixels. The camcorder also has a color viewfinder. When you first hear of the touch screen feature you?re likely to think it?s frivolous, but it?s actually quite useful. Using the touch screen LCD you can adjust the focus and the exposure. If you have an area that is under or over exposed or an area that you want to put in focus all you have to do is touch on it an the camcorder adjusts automatically. This is a great intermediate between automatic and manual control. It gives the inexperienced user a way of tackling the camcorder controls which can be very daunting. Sharp was the first company to add a touch screen LCD but I think Sony has really taken this option and flown with it. It?s a really great feature, especially for those less experienced camcorder users.

all neat
if you are planning to buy a good handycam go for trv50. if you are planning to buy trv950 or sony vx2000 please have a look this camera too. i bought this camera last month....it is really nice. picture quality is excellent. still mode is wondeful and touch screen is very useful. the only gimik is bluetooth technology, but other features are just fantastic...you cann compare trv50 with trv950 only.the difference is only 1ccd and 3 ccd. but otherwise you will not feel much difference. i recomend this handycam to semi professionls too.

Wow!!!! How did I ever live without this?
Beautiful design, gorgeous picture, easy set-up (with windows XP at least), and the prime space I reclaimed on my desk right in front of where I sit is awesome. Only slight annoyance is that when I bring my system back up from standby mode, the screen requires that the on/off button be pressed to bring it back on. This is quite annoying, but I can live with it because everything else about this monitor is so excellent.

Great monitor...after some minor tweaking.
I bought this monitor for a Gaming Rig and have not been dissapointed! It took some minor tweaking when I got it set up, the automatic stuff just didn't quite cut it. Mainly for black. I ended up having to turn down the brightness quite a bit so that black areas of the screen LOOKED black. Other that that I LOVE this monitor and do not regret spending the extra money on a large LCD.

Outstanding 19" LCD for the price...
I purchased this 19" puppy after convincing my dad that he needed my 1 year old 17" Hitachi LCD for his office. The Hitachi was an excellent monitor, but I just couldn't resist upgrading to a larger screen--especially with Sony's rebate offer (now expired...I think).

First off, this screen looks beeeeauuuuutiful! I mean, wow, talk about clean, simple and sleek. I don't need all the crazy bells and whistles such as speakers, USB ports, etc, that this monitor lacks...c'mon who the hell relies on a monitor's speaker; likewise, if you need more USB ports, get a freakin 4-port hub for twenty bucks.

One other factor to note is that this monitor is only analog signal, no DVI. If half of you reading this even know what that acronym stands for, let alone what the difference is, I'd be very impressed. Basically, it's a digital signal that should make images on the screen appear better. Guess what, I couldn't give a hoot about this; in fact, my video card on my 1 year old Dell doesn't even have DVI output. Unless you're a gamer that has no life, no girlfriend and sits reading amazon.com reviews all day long, then don't worry about having only analog.

With that said, onto the actual image quality. Well, upon turning the screen on for the first time, I prayed to the Lord Almighty that no dead pixels should appear. And the Lord heard my prayer and proclaimed, "Thou shalt not have any dead pixels, not even ONE, lest Sony give you a hard time with their dead pixel policy". And the Lord gazed upon the screen and saw it to be good. Ah yes, Bible studies ver. 1.0 amazon.com style...

...anywhoo, this is the most brilliant screen I have ever seen. The contrast ratio is like 600:1...that means it's amazingly bright and vivid. Be prepared to actually lower the contrast and brightness--that's a good thing to have to do with a monitor folks. The onscreen menu options are clear, concise and virtually dummy-proof. For all you fretting about manually adjusting the screen size, rotation, alignment etc., fear not; this is an LCD and it automatically adjusts all the settings for you, like most other LCD's on the market. I have the image size set at 1280 x 1024 on my Windows XP computer and everything looks magnificent. Text is clear especially using the "clear type fonts" available only on XP for LCD screens.

If you're in the market to toss your 60lb CRT out the window and upgrade in style to an LCD, this is the one. Don't worry about Sony's newer models they have out now with DVI capability. Chances are your video card doesn't even have the output so you'd be wasting your money. This is an EXTREMELY affordable 19" monitor. Now's the time folks...buy it.

Small, handy, has a zillion pockets.
An ideal camcorder bag, especially if you have one of the newer "upright" handhelds (such as the Canon 100/200MC). While not a bulky bag at all, it's got plenty of room for stuff like batteries, cables, tapes, a directional mic, even a still camera. Carries all my digital effects in one tidy, inconspicuous package. Tamrac has really done a good job here--much better than Canon or Sony have done with clunky bags ostensibly designed for their own camcorders. You won't be dissapointed.

Good for compact digital camcorder
I just got the bag today and I immediately put my panasonic pv-dc252 in it. The camera fits snugly upright, although sideways would have worked if I didn't put any bulky camera in along with it. I wondered before I bought the bag, does it contain any dividers. Well rest assure it has one. This bag is big enough for a small camcorder (see bag dimesions below) and a consumer (non-professional) brand camera without flashlights. Moreover, the various pockets that you would expect from Tamrac is lined along the inner top, outter front, and outter flap. Tamrac creates some very good bags and this is no exception. I especially like the price, the waterproofed ballistic nylon and the soft inner nylon (which is advertised to not be dust collecting).

This information is collected from the Tamrac website (...) on 10/22/2002 and posted here for your convience :) :

Internal Dimensions: 8 W x 3 D x 5 1/2 H
20 x 8 x 14 cm
External Dimensions: 9 1/4 W x 5 1/2 D x 7 H
23 x 14 x 18 cm
Weight: 1 lb. (454g)
Color: black

it is great bag
I bought this bag with my sony trv27, i can put all of the accessary like charger, memry stick mbattery, even flash light in the same bag. It also give great protection to the camcorder, it is much better than most of the bag I have seen in my local fry's

An avid TV watcher
I bought this TV/VCR Combo March 2002. It has a very clear picture and fits perfectly in my bedroom. I have whatch several hundred hours and it's still as brite and clear as the day I first turned it on. The Flat Screen technology is nice, and even though a year isn't a great judge of depenability I feel it will contribute toward the reputable name Toshiba has become in electronics. The VCR is a little mechanical starting and stopping but not a problem with me.

Terrific individual TV
This is a terrific individual TV. It replaced a 12" TV plus a VCR, and it is a great improvement. Just plug in the cable, and the power cord, and you're all set! The picture is bright and clear, and the remote is well designed. I like this combo so much I am planning to buy its big brother for another room (the 24" model, which also plays DVDs).

Great TV/VCR Combo
I just recently got this tv for my birthday, and i was amazed with avery aspect of the tv. The picture quality is outstanding, and it is simple to use. The VCR is also a great feature and is a very good VCR. The sound is outstanding, but the only thing i didnt like about this is when you use the slow funtion for your VCR there is a clunking sound, but i really dont care because i never use it. Timer Recording was simple and the remote is very easy to use. This TV is perfect for your bedroom

very good but one flaw
The main purpose to buying this product was that I needed aS-Video output so I can switch all S-Video in my home theatersystem. $ dollars is a bit steep for that feature, but there are the other advantages, recording at S-VHS quality, the auto clock setup etc etc.

Now the best and worst feature... The FF and REW speed is great if you use a T120 tape, it zips through a tape in no time. However our family watches lots of kids video's which are usually 30-45 minutes long. Rewinding these is agony, it is sooo slow. I had to use my old VCR just as a rewinder. I'm not sure why it can't rewind at a normal speed in these cases. If you use a VCR for full length movies and time shifting on T120 tapes then this won't be a problem.

Great SVHS recorder
While the counter is displayed hit the "cancel" button on the remote and that will reset the counter to zero.

I bought this for my 4DTV system, and the recorded video in SVHS is simply AMAZING. If you use normal videotapes, you can record in SVHS ET mode, which is much better than VHS, but I keep some real SVHS tapes for shows that I want the best quality from. If you don't use real SVHS tapes, you should use the higher quality VHS tapes, otherwise SVHS ET will flicker a little.

Recording to normal videotapes was really a downer, but I can barely tell the difference between SVHS recorded video and the original. I highly recommend the use of the S-Video connectors for best performance.

The 4DTV I mentioned is a digital satellite system that works on C-Band satellites (i.e. big dish) and so I get DVD quality video from satellite (not like the overly compressed DSS/DiSH video), and laserdisk quality video on the analog (totally uncompressed) channels. These are the feeds that DirecTV and Dish get many of their channels from.

Good starter VCR for S-VHS.
Okay, I have purchased this VCR and have received it. It's got some pros and cons.

First for the pros...

1. Better sound than regular Hi-Fi VCRs. Noticed some better effects with like echos and left or right channel voices.

2. Sharper picture. Can't really tell if 400 lines are really there on Widescreen movies. But still, picture is better than with standard VHS. Using RCA cables. Probably better if I use S-Video cable, but my TV isn't S-Video compatible.

3. FF and REW dial is kinda nifty. Two FF and REW scanning speeds. Rapid 360x FF and REW speed is awesome. Rewind a full tape in about a minute. Speed is adjusted as the weight on the spools change to prevent snapping at the end of tape.

Cons

1. No way to reset the counter to zero.
