NICE PRODUCT FOR THE PRICE
I would defer to the review below and agree with the comments (notwithstanding the many spelling and punctuation errors!), with the following exceptions/additions: The polarized tines of BOTH the AC adaptors are reversed, necessitating they be plugged in UPSIDE DOWN in a wall socket. The monitor adaptor is heavy, and having to be upside down in an older wall socket (where the tensile strength of the retaining tines inside the socket may be weaker) could cause it to fall out. A very strange and goofy oversight. I'm also not as impressed with the infrared range as the author below, but found it to be sufficient for my purposes. The camera lens delivers a minor fisheye effect, probably a product of Emerson attempting to deliver as wide of an angle of view as possible without being too distorted. I would agree that for the price, it's a nifty little bargain.

AMAZING!
after buying this as a gift for my parents store i had to write a review, this setup is amazing, for starters it states in the manual that it goes 100-330 feet which is better than i expected as the amazon review only states 100 feet. the clarity of the image you see on the monitor is outstanding, i have seen many many other survielance systems and their picture quality is very poor. but with this emerson whether the person is 1 foot or 20 feet from the camera they are totaly in focus, one thing i was worried about is the fact that they have 15 sets of flourescent lights in their store i thought that might interfere with the signal, Not at all!. the sound clarity is excellent also it picks up voices that are 20-25 feet away clear! for a small 5" monitor you would have to see it to believe it, as its incredably clear.

the infrared is great you can still see in almost complete darkness like it was daytime. i had my doubts about it but was amazed again!.

one problem to note is that i we have 3 900 mhz phones in the store, when you are using one of the phones you will have interference with the AUDIO on the monitor, The video is still crystal clear. this would be great also if you had a motorhome or trailer and wanted to mount the camera in the back window to help you back up etc. as it will work intirely on batteries (Camera 8 AA) (Monitor 10 C) Pros Great picture No wires Portable Audio/Video/Infrared ability to use a second camera. Composit audio/video out so you can record on a vcr or watch on a bigger tv. Contrast/brightness/VHold controls on monitor Volume Control on monitor A/B button on monitor and camera(s) shutoff on camera for either power or infrared, plus a/b switch.

Cons 900 mhz so you will get some interference (small amount) you cant leave batteries in the monitor AND plug it into an AC Socket. (which makes it hard to just move the monitor wherever) allthough it is so light that its easy just to find another ac outlet. 2 camera's max

I am going to buy another set plus 2 additional cameras if they come back in stock, if you know someone that has just had a baby get this for them they Will love you for it.

I hope this helps you to make your decision.

The EVO6500
Very good for the price. In low light the pic. is clear, very clear, it's lite, easy to move around. Also the sound is good.I'am thinking of a 2nd camera for channel b!

You get what you pay for
Installation went without any hitches, as usual from creative. First thing I tried was Unreal. VERY nice, high quality image, but incredibly slow, compared to the VooDoo 2 I replaced. Next came GlQuake. Very bad. Particles were disgusting, and the weapon sank into the walls. Quake 2 was better visually, but incredibly slow. Same with half-life and kingpin. I returned the card and got a TNT2 Ultra ;)

Great graphics card, good price
When you buy this card, you make an investment. You could probably go out and buy a voodoo 3 and get better performance now but in the long run you will save. This cards stacks 32mb Ram and a 125 Mhz memory bus (143 Max) The graphics show very well on most games at 640 x 480 and 800 x 600 but at higher resolutions, there are many frames skipping. The only way you see the true potential of this card is when you use a game with the S3 Texture compression, non of which i have but i understand unreal has it which i am in the proccess of buying. The included software has some Creative Blaster software allowing you to adjust brightness and overclock the graphics and memory bus speeds. The also is some 3d Deep and colorific which suppose to allow you to make your monitor and games show better, but honestly I don't use them so i can't say much. The voodoo's can't run on more than 16-bit colors, this one can go to 32-bit. This card is perfect for light gamers like me on a budget. You won't get the best performance but you won't have to buy a new card for a good while

Great graphic card (for what it 's worth)
As long as you use latest drivers and update BIOS this card really rocks

BAIT & SWITCH from Heiu Nguyen
Bought the Intel ICS2USB Create-and-Share Tethered Camera and was shipped the older version - Intel PC camera pack from the year 2000 that retails for $59.99-$79.99 NEW, not the $114 that was paid. The guy (Heiu Nguyen)tried to say that the camera I got was actually better than the one I ordered, but that he would graciously allow Me to keep it because of his mistake on shipping the wrong item!!! When what he really needs is to get rid of the old, outdated version that intel no longer sells on their official website.

Inexpensive and maintence free
I have had this cam for about 3 years (actually bought 2 b/c I enjoyed the first so much, not a whole lot of tweeking and so on) good software, good support should you need it. Buy it you won't regret it. Great for a entry - mid level cam.

Number One PC Camera Choice
The camera and the accompanying software are first rate. I especially like the Scene Recorder, with its ability to take snapshots and record videos. Please note that you can record sounds, such as your voice, with the videos. And most importantly you can Trim them. Videos are saved with extension AVI. You can use a Publish tool to compress an AVI file to Internet streaming format with extension IVS. Microsoft IE 5.0 browser can display both types of files on the Internet. Intel also makes the IntelPlay QX3 Computer Video Microscope. It has magnifications 10x, 60x, and 200x. You can have the most fun possible with two computers side by side: one with the Create and Share Pack Camera and the other with the Microscope Camera. Set up a Live View on the display of the pc with the microscope. Hand hold the Create and Share camera, and point it at the microscope Live View on the other pc. Speak into a microphone and record a video with your voice on the pc with the Create and Share Pack. An AVI silent video file recorded with the IntelPlay Camera can be compressed using Create and Share Publish. Use Create and Share NetCard to send a message with an AVI video recorded with either the Create and Share Camera or the IntelPlay Microscope Camera. I am looking forward to a chance to use the IntelPlay Microscope to generate the video seen in a Video Phone sender view.

Beware - low quality and need to make more purchases!!
We bought this as an upgrade to our VHS camcorder we got 6 years ago. I wanted to be able to edit our videos in the computer. After my first filming, I quickly learned this camcorder has poor zoom quality (if you zoom in too close it gets fuzzy) and very poor audio as you can hear the motor running on playback. When I wanted to hook the camcorder up to the computer to try to do some editing, I discovered the cable you need to hook the two together is not included. This is an extra $30 purchase. Either put more money into a better quality camcorder or save your money until the better quality lower in price!!

Great camcorder for the price!!
Any comments about poor image quality when zooming in are because the user didn't know that ANY zooming beyond the 20X Optical zoom mark is then converted to a Digital zoom which is a conversion of the maximum Optical zoom (20X) by blowing up the image digitally. This results in a poorer image as ANY DIGITAL ZOOM would gives exactly the same effect. DIGITAL ZOOM IS JUST A GIMICK!!!!
It is like taking a picture and then expanding it 990X in a program like Paint. There are a fixed number of dots in the image and expanding it makes it look worse because they get farther apart.
This is a great little camera for the money. Easy to use. Cheap tapes. Built-in light!! (many have none)

Awesome gadget
Mommy and Daddy bought me this camera at Best Buy. I love the sounds it makes similar to the E.T. ride with the beeping sounds. I give it a 5 star rating by PG, R and Y.

Yuck
This is the worst stereo you can think of buying. I'm glad they don't make them anymore!!

Great system for the price
I do not think that I would have been happy paying the list price for this system, but I am very happy with the item based on the price I did pay. The CD gives good sound, but has skipped on one song on one CD (out of about 20 played). The larger speakers are good, but the two smaller speakers that are supposed to deliver "surround sound" provide very little volume in comparison.

awesome
What a great stereo at a great price. The best part is that it has an auxillary jack so that you can hook it up to the audio output of your tv or computer (record from mp3s to tapes!). Four quality speakers make for nice surround sound, and there's good bass. It has a lot of functions but oddly no autoreverse for tapes. Koss could use a little help in the looks department too. But overall, it has almost anything you could want from a stereo.

does it really matter?
it is a cable for transferring digital signal... in the digital world, the smallest bit of information is either 0 or 1. in terms of electricity, it is like, either 0 volt or 5 volt. So unless the cable is so lousy that the device cannot tell 0 volt from 5 volt, in which case a gold or platinum plated digital cable is not going to do any good. it either works or doesn't work. there is no "in between".

this is similar to DTV or HDTV -- either you get the picture or you don't. If you do, it is going to be prestine. If you don't, then there is no picture at all. Note that in this case, the analog (non-digital) portion of equipment still makes a difference, such as the antenna or the speaker cable that is non-digital.

so a [$$$$$] DVI cable shouldn't make any difference than a [$$] one.

Does It REALLY REALLY matter!
I gave it 5 stars because I don't own it an wanted to be fair, but I do own cabletogo 2m dvi cable and it's a spectacular picture I have on my toshiba 30hf83 30" hdtv which is slightly better than the component I had hooked up earlier. My point is the cabletogo I believe is under $15dls and has a higher data transmission rate which I believe is above 9mbps dual link and the monster above 5mbps,so it's just something to think about, why waste $99dls.

Great Cable but I cannot use it now!!
I have a fairly new HDTV system I bought back in January. I have a JVC 56" rear projection HDTV and am getting my HDTV source from Insight Cable through a Motorola HDTV receiver. I experimented with component video connections when I first bought the TV but later tried the Monster Cable DVI400. Wow what a difference! DVI is the ONLY way to hook up HDTV in my opinion. The colors are brighter and pictures are sharper. Like all Monster Cable products this is made of very high quality materials and it looks nice too. I cannot believe some of the notes I have seen on the internet from people that feel the component video connection is better. The quality of the DVI connection is so superior that my cable company has decided to turn off the DVI output on my cable box. They claim the quality is so good that pirates could make copies of movies through the connection! They claim that this is a new FCC law even!

Worth The Money
I have owned the VT-2's for four years and still have not heard any speaker anywere near the same price perform as well. Where most misinterpert the sound of this speaker is in its totally neutral sound. If you have a poor source the NHT VT-2 will let you know in spades. Likewise if you have mid to top line equipment you can approach near audiophile quality sound for a fraction of the price. It's not Wilson Puppy analog type sound, but for about 98% of the listners out there they would be hard pressed to "hear" the difference at normal volumes. I have seen these speakers sell used in the $500.00 to $750.00 range usally due to the sellers dislike of the sound based on inferior amplification equipment being used. Mid' are sharp, highs are crystal clear, and the bottom end is good, unbelievable if bi-amped. These speakers also excell as a good base for a home theater, and you can shake the windows if you so choose if you power the subs. If you can find them, buy them, you won't be disappointed.

System configeration: Shearwood Newcastle 9080R-Pre-amp, Sherbourn 5/1500A Amp, Adcom GFA555 Subs, MIT HT4S Main speaker cables, Sony SADC/DVD NHT VT2 Fronts Center, Klipsch CF2's for the rear

Great Stuff
I've had the VT2/VT2center/HDP2 surrounds for a year now I assure you they are worth the price if you have it! Mine are connected to a Sony ES receiver 120W/channel and I have biamped the subs on the VT2s using NHTs sub amplifier. These bad boys require serious power to drive them. Once you get a lot of clean amps into them they sound fantastic. I would also warn you that these are acurate speakers. If you have low quality source components you will hear every hiss. If you have a great system you'll hear every whisper!

Nice speakers shame about the price
These are top notch speakers and it is good to see that amazon are improving their audio section ( about time). But I am upset at the cost. Amazons Dvds are very cheap and the reviews are excellent. Here the speakers are not discounted enough and the reviews are lacking.5 stars for the speaker/ 2 stars for the almost list price

    Failed Video Card
I used this card for approximately 5 months before it failed and melted. Yes, MELTED (the solder pads under the regulators gave out). After searching on the internet for a possible cause of this problem, something that has never occured in the dozens of computers I have built and owned, I found that the PNY Ti 4200 and Ti 4600 have a common memory problem and fail consistently. I have never heard of such a problem and have never had to cast a wary eye on mainstream video cards before this PNY. Do NOT purchase this product, go for something more reliable as their are many more equivalent cards out there.

    Greatest Prodect I've Ever used
Buy this product. Well that's what I did and I've never had any problems with it. It is the best ever. I use windows XP and still no Fryage. I have a Hewlett Packard w/ 2.53 Ghz. 768 MB of RAM. 80 GB of HD space. So If you are looking into this product I suggest you do so.

    GREAT!
This card has a great price and great quality. It's awesome for people that love good graphics in gaming! Good for office use!

    problems
hey,,Im back... I was happy with this for one day when taking the first pics., then this cam started displaying lots of colors and lines on the screen, and making lots of noises got crazy,,, had to send it back and get my money back. that's it using flash, drains batteries in less than 9 pics.. I may got a defected one but hopefully you are luckier than me

    not really good
this review is the same than the next up

Only one reason for one less star..........
NO INSTRUCTIONS!! Well, no sufficient instructions....it's basically a "you figure it out" kinda camera. Don't let this hinder you if you are considering buying this camera, though...because with the digital technology the way it is now...it's no problem at all to figure the buttons out.
Two years ago, i bought a $400.00 digital camera and brought it back because i hated it....couldn't move the slightest bit because the pictures came out blurry...could hardly breath when you were snapping a picture!! The Logitech 820 takes AWESOME digital pictures!! Better than the 400 dollar camera i had bought!!
It also takes really good still shots from the webcam itself...such high quality and definition. I have yet to use the webcam capabilities, but i'm sure i won't be disappointed.
The main reason i bought this camera was for the "digital camera" mode. I really wasn't expecting the quality i received for the price i paid. My advice for someone who doesn't want to shell out the big bucks for a digital camera.....is to buy this Logitech 820. You will NOT be disappointed. I do also agree with the suggestion of the first reviewer....buy yourself a bigger memory card...and some extra AAA batteries!! You'll be snapping pictures like a fool with this camera!!
