I got the Sherwood rd8108(I don't know why Amazon says "AMC") becuase it has s-video switching(no component), universal remote, and OSD, and all the latest surround modes. It also has auto digital source detection for easy switching between digital devices. Sound is awesome; better channel separation and balance than my old HK AVR75. It's easy to hear dialog from the center and effects from the surround. I am finally hearing what my speakers are capable of!

Problems:
-Remote is universal, but doesn't control many features on other devices and is not back-lit
-Some DSP's are not so good
-Clip speaker jacks
-A bit difficult to set up, and so many surround modes it's dificult to know what to pick

I have had this product for almost 6 months and I can't say enough good things about. The only problem I have found is that when you push the button to release a game, it will sometimes release four or five additional games. This product will tell you if your wiring in your house is faulty. Since it is made by APC this will protect better than most other surge protectors, and if anything gets damaged by a power surge APC will pay up to 25,000 to replace whatever was damaged.

Yes, this is surely one of the greatest products I have ever seen. Imagine, you have a rare item or something on a video game and you want to take a picture of it to flaunt it to your friends. Well now you can do it!!!! This little device can take pics at one click of a button from a game. I have done this before and think that it is just...AWESOME. I couldn't stretch this enough, "GET THIS ITEM!!!". Seriously, when I want to take a picture to put on a site from a game I have, I use the handy little Motion Picture and Still Image Capture Device to do the trick. So, in my final words...GET IT!! What was that name? Ariston iView USB Motion Picture and Still Image Capture Device by Ariston Technologies. Oh yeah, that was it!!!!!

I have a G4 500MHz (sawtooth) Mac that came originally with ATI Rage 128 Pro graphic card. I thought that I could get my Apple Cinema 20" Display to work connecting it to the ADC port on the 9000 Pro. But, I was disappointed to find that it did not work. I went on the internet and found that Radeon 9000Pro does not have enough power to work ADC enabled monitors when the card is installed in G4 macs older 500MHz or less (sawtooth and previous G4 models will not work.) I will have to buy an DVI to ADC convertor from Apple which costs a hundred dollars. That means I will have to use the DVI port on the 9000pro, leaving the ADC port useless = I cannot use dual monitors. I wish I knew before. Other than this problem, the card is fine.

This is a very fast, very good card that provides sharp text, great 2d-imaging, and blazing gaming on the Macintosh. It also has very good Full-Screen-Anti-Aliasing (FSAA), which smooths out images on the screen to make them look more natural as if they were real. If you own a macintosh and are into image editting, gaming, or just plain use your mac a lot, this is a great card that delivers graphics that are very pleasing to the eyes!

My $599 PC plus All-in-Wonder simply made a perfect system for me. I can do video recording, 3D games, and dual monitor on Win98!

I would have given five stars for this product if its software is stable enough. The bundled software suite (6.0) has problem in many corners. Basic TV and video functions are OK. But things like closed caption are not stable yet. I hope ATI will fix the software and complete this awesome product.

having gone through a nightmare with an aiw 9800 pro (read my review on it, and you'll understand), i decided to take my refund and get a radeon 9800 pro 256mb for two reasons. one, i couldn't find any retailers with the x800 in stock, and two, brand loyalty. anyway, you can turn up the graphics on any of the recent 3d games and not have graphics-related issues. it's not as fast as the newest cards on the market nor is it as functional as the aiw 9800, and it's definitely not cheap. but if you can afford it, it's definitely worth it.

I really like Sirius in the week I have had it. It does have a couple of limitations - I drive through redwoods and the tall trees block the satillite signal - but in open space it offers a great choice of good radio. Best of all will be live transmissions of NFL games this fall. This particular Model of the Dock does not come with the FM transmitter and is misrepresented on Amazon as having one. The RCA cable provides the best transmission if you have one on your car radio - mine has a cd player plugin up front, and so this model is fine - but if you do not have a plug, you need the SIRCK1 also available on Amazon. If you are looking for the best deal of any DLP projector out there, this is it. You wont find one at this price that performs better. It displayes SVGA video (up to 800x600) from the PC and HDTV formats 480p, 720p, 1080i.

Using this for an entry level Home Theater is in my opinion the best application. As for PC, the resolution is a little lacking considering the size it will be projected to. The icons would be 6"+ depending on how big your shooting the screen.

Bulb life in economy mode extends by about 1/3 from 2000 hours to 3000. Nice considering the bulbs are 400 each. BenQ has offered a couple different promotions in the past like free bulb or 100/200 (...) (so be sure and check to make sure before you buy).

The thing that is most amazing to me is the refresh rate of 85hz (how fast it can paint the picture to the screen). That is pretty much as fast as you'll need for any application to avoid display problems, so playing games on this isnt a problem!

For more info, check projectorcentral, they do reviews on everything that comes out. BenQ PB6100 and the PB6200 (xga version) are in the top 5 list of DLP's.

Anyone planning to use this primarily on a PC, think about getting the PB6200 instead, its basically the same thing but displays the higher resolution XGA (1024x768) and for certain applications higher 1280x1024.

I purchased the Broksonic tv/vcr specifically for long car trips. It fits perfectly between the front seats of our Honda Odyssey. The passengers in the rear seats had no problems viewing or hearing the movies. Great buy!
