Several recent upgrades and additions to two different home theater systems necessitated several new audio and video cables. Researching the right video cables for two sets of Sony VCR's and Sony receivers came to the conclusion that Acoustic Research's AP001 video cables would be perfect both in quality and pricing. As we all know, picture quality in VCR's can somewhat suspect at times based on many reasons, primary among them is the quality of the video cable used. After upgrading to these particular video cables, I've found the picture quality to be as perfect as can be expected for a taped VCR.

This is a great cable. I was forced to buy this one at best Buy because they did not have a coax digital audio cable. But thinking this is the next best thing, I bought it and its great. I used it as a subwoofer cable on my home theatre when I'm not using the coax input. Very good, and its even better when not used with video.

Allsop definitely makes a wonderful video cleaner. I used their cleaner on my vcr when some fingerprints entered the video heads. The rental vhs tape that I used apparently had some fingerprints on the tape (where you aren't supposed to touch) and infested my vcr's tape heads. I thought that I had to take it in for repair. Luckily, I tried Allsop's video cleaner and after a few cleanings the picture distortions were gone. It removes much more than just dust and foreign particles. I highly recommend this product!

This item, Made by ALLSOP, the most reputable of all Video/Audio component cleaning companies, is about THE MOST USEFUL AND NEEDED accessory that any VCR owner can keep beside their video system. Just like "changing the oil-regularly and often," on your car will keep THAT machine, as well, running more smoothly, so is it entirely necessary to keep the Video and Audio Heads of your VCR cleaned at regular intervals, to keep these all-important home-entertainment machines running at their cleanest and best possible performance. This unit from Allsop is about the best one out there on the market currently, too. I've tried two other brands, recently, that just don't offer as many cleaning features as this kit does.

Beautiful, beautiful graphics...Half-Life looks like a totally different game. Overclocking is pretty safe, and it compensates for the slightly underclocked proccessor. And it has novelty value..., this card smokes all Geforce 3 and 4 MX series!
128 MB will last for long time, also Direct X 8.1 and all the goodies are in this card its a superior card

Wow this is cheap! You can't find a retail price like this on Pricewatch site or the same one (offered by Circuit City) in Electronics store. And the best thing is that the shipping is free (and no tax for me either)!

With such a fast rendering speed and 128MB DDR memory, this outperforms many Nvidia cards out there, at a reasonable price. Plus, I didn't experience any installation problems or crashes while playing the latest games such as Jedi Outcast or WarCraft 3 -- cool!

If you are a true gamer but with a budget, this is definitely a video card to get. This gamepack Radeon 8500LE bundles with Half-Life Counterstrike and expansions (not sure if they are full-version).

When shopping for a PC, I noticed there were many cards to choose from. I wanted something with some speed, yet something that would not cost 200+ dollars. I ended up choosing this card for it's price and performance. After installing the card, and drivers, I played a few games, the graphics were great. I got transparency, fog, anti-aliasing, etc... All games I've played so far work well with this card.

I use 4 graphic cards;
MADDOG Prowler64 TV out(64Mb SDRam)
HERCULES Prophet Kyro series 4000 XT (64Mb SDRam)
PNY's Verto NVidia gForce4 MX420 TV out(64Mb SDRam)
ATI Radeon 9000 pro TV + DVI out(64Mb DDRam)

all tested interchangeably on P4 and AMD-XP machines.
I bought 4 cards for 2 computers only to play EA sport's FIFA2003 game and Medal of Honor game without a conflict.

MADDOG has conflict problem with some games, but runs pretty good overall. HERCULES performs better than MADDOG, but with full of conflicts. PNY's gForce did not even install on P4 machine, and had more troubles with games on AMD-XP machine.

ATI's RADEON 9000pro has no conflict at all, and performs much faster at the highest(or Max) game options enabled. I intended to buy Radeon 9500 or 9700, but those are way above budget. I strongly recommend RADEON graphic cards to gamers. If you don't play a game much, all cards above will be good enough.

The Radeon 9800 is the card to get if you want high-end game performance, but don't want to spend $400-$500 on the latest and the greatest. At stock speeds, this card will run just a hair slower than a 9700 Pro in most games, until you get to DirectX 9 games, in which the 9800 pulls ahead a bit.

Overclockers can often get this card up to 9800 Pro speeds, but for me the slight performance gain in most games wasn't worth the risk of frying a $250 card.

Judging from my experience with this card, I'd say it is probably not worth it if you're already running an ATI 9500 or 9600 series card, or the equivalent. Also not worth it if you're still only playing older games, like Quake 3. But for me, coming from even a Geforce 4 Ti, the performance difference in newer games was absolutely amazing.

About the only downside to this card is the noise from the fan. If you run a quiet PC, this thing will most likely end up being the loudest thing in your case. Not significantly louder, but it definitely lets you know that it's there. I got annoyed enough that I ended up replacing the fan with a Zalman heatsink. Highly recommended.

my friend's got a gf fx 5900 ultra which i got to try..and he came here, tried the 9800 pro...and he liked the 9800 better

dono if you wanna upgrade if you've got the 9700..but this is definitley the best card out there atm imo

I don't do any gaming, so I can't speak for how well this card works for that. However, looking around the internet for reviews of this card, it was really tough to tell whether it was going to do what I needed it to do. So hopefully this review will help someone else who is as confused as I was.

I bought this card to be able to use two monitors on an older Mac G4 (the newer ones come with that capability) running OS 9.2.2. The card was unbelievably easy to install (run the software/drivers installation on the CD first!), even for someone who had never done anything inside the computer before.

Once the installation was complete, I just plugged in both monitors and turned the computer on, and BAM it worked like a charm. It did exactly what I needed it to (and was VERY easy to maneuver -- I switched which monitor was on the left and which was on the right with no problems at all).

Highly recommended if this is what you're looking to do!

This is very good price for low badged card.
If you play games once a week this card is for you. But if you play more than once per week get the Rodeon 8500 much better perfomance.
Other than that this card has exelent 2D and 3D quality, very crisp and sharp colors. ATI always was making better quality from Nivida especially in 2D.
Get this card you will not be sorry.
PS. no problems with instaling or drivers.

I own this product and I love it!! It is so fun. It works well and it is a great conversation piece whenever my friends are out on the water with me. I paid a little more than you can find on here sorry to say, but it was still well worth it! 5 Stars all around!!!

I just got a camera like this one from another store and I think the camera is grate! the only problem I had was that when I used the charger I got a spark and the charger burned up.all of this happened because when they shipped the camera from the factory the power cable was placed under the battery and it got cut. but because of this I was able to return the item to them and get it here for a lot less.

Highly recommend this over TV/DVD combo in a bag provided you have a way to secure in your vehicle. Extra screen size makes it worth the price.

We purchased this system for our minivan. We opted not to pay the ridiculous amount of $$$$ for the factory installed video system. I was actually looking at the "DVD in the bag" system when I saw this product. The bag system had several mixed reviews such as the small screen, overheating, etc. I actually thought the price was wrong when I saw this system. It sold for over $$$ less than the bag system. It has a big 9 inch screen that can be viewed at an angle (you don't have to be directly in front of it to see it). It can be used with headphones or without and it is also portable and light enough to use in the house. We have it anchored with straps to keep it secured while driving. My children absolutely love it! It does only have one headphone jack. However, we purchased an adapter that turns one jack into two and purchased two cheap sets of headphones. The commercial is right - it definitely makes for a quiet ride. And one other plus...it set up in mere seconds. I highly recommend this product!

I have been using this MGM video tape for some time now.
These tapes are excellent when using S-VCR recorders in
the ET-mode. They are also excellent in reproducing the
colors of the tape or program you are copying. These tapes
are also great for capturing the resolution of the source.
I highly recommend them for those who are very discriminating
in their video endeavors.

I'm a video producer, and when it comes time to send out my videos to the duplicater, I personally request these tapes, because of their high quaility. I wouldn't be caught dead using any other VHS tapes for home distribution, and at this price, its definatley a bargain!

easy installation and games that locked up on my old card (ati expert98 8mb) no longer lock up with this card. everything looks great

This card is only the best works will all games, action to RPG, Single and multi-player. Just great for that price.
