Attractive A/V StandThe natural maple hue coupled with the glass and silver accents fit perfectly in the retro-modern decor of my family room.
It is currently holding the weight of 4 A/V components and a small stereo on top- Seems to hold the weight just fine, and has a sleeve to hide the cords in back. This 3-legged design is surprisingly stable- It makes no side-to-side movement at all. It can rock back-and-forth slightly. The only drawback is that it is a bit pricey- I feel the $$$ is more for the design and not the actual quality of the piece.
I also have the matching media tower (NFCDIIm).

Not your typical audio rackIt's hard to tell from a single picture, but the stand is actually two sided and sits on a swivel base. The shelves are only as deep as a DVD (or so), so there is no wasted space behind your collection.
The shelves themselves are glass and can be spaced in a variety of ways. I found I didn't even use all of the shelves included.

It's a VCR... what more to say?I picked up this one at a local store (um, and paid more for it).. bah. It works. It plays movies. It plays them in stereo even. I'm not sure how this model differs from other 'current' VCRs, since it's been a long while (um, 10 years?) since I last went VCR shopping, but it seems to have plenty of features, including my favorite, an "instant replay" button that lets it playback the last 20 (or 40, or 60...) seconds of a tape. Great when you get interrupted in a movie or just want to see something again.
It's trivial to operate, but has enough features to make it useful (um, though honestly I'll probably only use it for playback of rented tapes...)
I guess the real question would be "would you buy it again?"
Yes. It works, it looks pretty, it's cheap enough that I wouldn't spend ages agonizing over the decision.

For almost nuthin...Strengths:
Price - These have been selling for around $110 incl. shipping on Ubid.
Sound quality - has the 24 Bit Yamaha YSS-912 decoder chip. Another very nice feature with the '7100 is that it allows the user to set different volume and channel levels for each surround mode. Let's say that you're listening to a CD and you want to change from Pro-Logic to Hall mode and the Hall mode has too much volume in the rear channels. When the rear channel levels are lowered for this mode this Sherwood will remember the last set Pro-Logic parameters.
Weaknesses:
Slight buzz from the center speaker when the TV is on. Still troubleshooting this, could be the TV.
Similar Products Used:
RD-6108: (DPL II) This one has 2 very usable settings in Dolby Virtual, Narrow and Wide. Also a very nice buy for around the same price.
RD-7108 Good choice for an entry-level EX, Neo 6 setup, but priced at close to the $200 mark, still a good deal. One nice feature with this one is the ability to change the speaker configuration with the remote. (Center, Rears On/Off, Large/Small, etc.)
Well, if you're going for a complete Sanus setup, having the matching speaker stands is a must. The stand itself has a cherry finish, with a black top and base. Both the top and base have holes to allow for wire concealment and a black plastic backing is providing to cover speaker wire running down the back of the stand.
Assembly is easy and the result looks very clean.
Spikes as well as rubber feet are included.
